I am surprised that Anurag Kashyap has no idea that "Mithila Makhaan" was the first film made in Darbhanga which won the national award in 2016. The latest film in Maithili by the same maker (which is me) is "Jackson Halt". Infact first Bihari film to win National Award. Nonetheless, Badey badey logon se chhoti chhoti galtiyaan ho jaatee hai. I love Achal films and thankfully Maithili movie will become like Malayalam or Bangla under his leadership in coming years.

@@drprathamprakash1408 Yes you can say he is back in form. The film is intense, moody and a bit slow but bold. Though I was a bit disappointed by the third act, it's still a must watch. And yes the music is fantastic.

Hope you take this honest feedback in a positive way and work your way towards your growth. Looking forward to your next interviews.
A film industry is only as grown up as its audience, is what I believe. If in our country, the Hindi film indistry is as it is or Bhojpuri is as it is or my own Malayalm industry is what it is, then it is the audience and their level of maturity.
Malayalam movies are really doing great, just an observation, might be wrong, bengal and kerela ,seen similarities, both are too much connected to art. Nice interview
