How effortlessly Tanmay hosts an interview, his body language and ease of conversation is amazing. His sensibility on when to joke around and when to get serious is super. Seeing him grow as an artist over these years has been a bliss.
I still think No Smoking is one of the best creations of Anurag Kashyap. What a mature storyline and brilliantly complicated storytelling. Watching No Smoking was mind-blowing experience. Genius.
RGV, Anurag and Tigmanshu Dhulia are my favorite directors from Bollywood. May not be the best commercially but best story tellers in bollywood. I was always a fan of Anurag’s work, but when I recently watched Paanch on youtube, I felt bad for him. That movie was ahead of time. He deserved much more!
The way of not shooting in cuts but doing the entire scene all at once is something I choose to do as a director myself, figured that out on one of my sets..totally agree
Anurag Kashyap is really a gem!!!! He is the besssssssst. I'm glad to see Tanmay and team to be back at the interviews. Really feeling Nostalgic. AIB rocks
I’m so glad I watched this movie in theatre without seeing any reviews or IMDb. To me this was the better version of a mom-children story than Everything everywhere all at once and Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness.
Always asks Intriguing and interesting questions. Classic Tanmay. PS- so glad you discussed No Smoking in detail because neither anurag nor anyone does.
My biggest regret is that I met Anurag and Mahesh Bhatt in Hyderabad film conference and i didn't ask him to take me as Assistant Director. Non of his films released. He was explaining how he was surviving by writing.
Anurag is a gem ❤️. Could have listened to the unedited entire footage of him and this conversation. Tanmay, kudos to making people feel excited and eager to share and open up. It's *adorable* to see KV vying for Anurag's attention (understandably so) and KV's otherwise spontaneous wit shaken by the nervousness of the fan boy moment (understandably so).

Anurag Kashyap talking about RGV is my most fav part here!!❤
It is just so atrocious..that RGVs achievements have been belittled by many who have no creative inclinations..as Anurag said..he changed the game..
I used to think I was a weirdo for being a RGV fanboy, but now discovering so many people adore him.
That's very obvious 🐐
So Telugu guy RGV save hindi film industry from Urdu writer and don't use word aurat which is Urdu and arbic word and meaning of aurat is nudity.
