Aagaya Mallu Cinema ka jhaat, abey jaa bey... Mil gaya tujhe attention. Aavesham aur Premalu bakwas filmein hain... Only Manjummel Boys &Bramayuagam - but are not masterpieces. Aavesham se badi chhapri film maine nahi dekhi. Just half a year wonder. @@sajadpt

I’m soo soo happy for this podcast. It’s basically a therapy session for both A & Dad.. healing their childhood traumas ❤️ Dad should seriously start his podcast and call it * Gen Z dad*
This is a greeeaattt idea!
I feel you girl. Having an emotionally unavailable, busy father is the worst possible thing for a child. All that time you could have spent with him.. but i remember watching one of anurag's interview where the interviewer asks about one thing which he regrets the most and his answer was 'not spending enough time with my daughter'. I'm glad you've found your love and you're getting married, the best thing to do in such family. I believe he has seen what this world is without money and he didn't want his children to ever go through it... Maybe that's why he worked so hard. So that he can provide. Maybe that was his way of loving. :) i hope things between you too become better.
Daddy issues ❤
It was a beautiful conversation Aaliyah !
I feel most parents don't tend to show their vulnerabilities and flaws. And we as kids expect our parents to be perfect and not make any mistakes in parenting. But our parents are as humans as us fighting their own demons. Its so good see Anurag just being himself and showing his true self. And not how the world perceives a dad to be like !
Why her name is so Islamic??? Does she follow nikkah(interco*rse in arabic)muttah(pleasure), halala n multiple wives(polygamy)desert's cult Isalaam???
I'm a great fan of Anurag kashyap's films. He has always made bold movies but I see him getting so so shy n nervous in front of her daughter . ❤

How Beautiful this girl is! I think, this is Anurag's best creation. Be blessed ❣️🌹❣️
Love Anurag's tshirt, really cool tribute to the legend Kader Khan.
Hi Aaliyah, I've never commented on your videos but have been watching them for a few years now. This was an offbeat one compared to your regular content but so wholesome and deep. We get to explore the other side of you & ofc your father bringing his cinematic wisdom was so refreshing.
All love x
This is one of the sweetest and brutally honest conversations between father and daughter .. love it
This was a wonderful conversation. Brutal yet polite, honest as it gets. It was amazing to hear the realities of life and choices spelled out as such a matter of fact in an era where everything is so veiled. Your Dad's dedication to his work is rare and your banter was precious. And after this conversation your Dad may forget everything except - you are his one and only child.
This was a very wholesome and informational podcast. Would love to see a part 2. Aaliyah, please ask him more about his career struggles, what worked, what didn't and how he reached where he is today. Also another thing, I study something called Human Design and listening to your father talk about living in isolation, not fitting in anywhere, making films which were way ahead of their time or didn't get accepted easily; all these are traits of Manifestor Human Design type. He can easily find on Google if he's one or he's another Human Design type but I am 90% sure he is a manifestor. Lastly, if he's a manifestor it will really validate his existence. I am a manifestor too and whatever traits he talked about exist in me too. It takes a manifestor to know another.
this is fkn gold yall both are really precious. i don't know either of you personally (but have followed your work individually) and this was just too real and there were moments i just wanted to give you two a hug. too real and human and also really layered i feel. I'm definitely saving this for a future re-watch in my fav podcasts playlist
28:40 it’s so sweet seeing him touch the wood of the sofa. This expresses how much passionate and connected he is with his art.
the amount of “yeah” she said😂😂😂
So what? It wasn't a big deal. Stop nitpicking.
Love Anurag Kashyap’s shirt!!

07:00 the movie name is "Challengers" not challenges
Kadar khan due is also important 😁
68 yr old woman born in India living in the USA 40 yrs. Know nothing about Aaliya or Anurag. But absolutely enjoyed this conversation. Honest, sometimes raw, this was wonderful to see between a father daughter. Wish more parents and adult children would do this at least once in their life.
Your Dad's Performance in the recent movie Maharaja was Incredible, sending him hugs 🤗
it's crazy how people are policing her to talk in particular way, not to shake her leg, be calm etc. like wtf😂 read the channel's name again
+ its her own father. These people dont even hold a 2 min convo with their own fathers.
Awesome episode. The candid humor and authenticity. So engaging that I didn't even realize when it ended. Looking forward to more episodes like this one.
I am great admirer of the work of Anurag Sir . He is a sheer genius n power house of talent . He is blatant , free from fakeness . His ideology , his thought process , his friend circle( Tigmanshu Sir , Hansal Sir , Imtiyaz Sir , Tapsee Mam...n more) ; I love everything . May he be happy n healthy for unlimited time!!!
PS: A Kashyap , u too r carbon copy of ur father . Be happy healthy forever!! Keep shining , you gal🤞🤞
AK is so brave and courageous and speaks his mind out! And Aaliyah too is like that ❤ she’s the only influencer/youtuber who posted about Gaza, which is a humanely thing ❤ she’s such a pure soul, wishing only happiness and more for her ❤
But she never posted on Hindus facing persecution in Pakistan and Bangladesh
Chuslims everywhere--victim card😂😂😂
@@DevenderSingh-xg5ekthats beauty of Brainlesswood😂
what an awesome daddy-daughter duo...listening to this podcast has been therapeutic. Thank u aliyah!!
Absolutely loved this podcast. I feel he is amazingly real,he's lived his life. He has seen it all. He has the guts to live for his passion, go against the norms, not follow a formula and check boxes. He makes what he's passionate about, love his movies library, his books library, I wish I too can live a life like that, in a world full of content, writing and telling stories that you are passionate about ❤❤❤
Would definitely love a part 2! This was a great conversation...
We stopped half way thru 1st episode of Heeramandi😂
Hey! This is surprising. I admire your dad. And I follow his interviews. He is unique and a genius. I bought one of his recommended books Hitchcock by Truffaut. In one of his interviews he talked abt you, how much he cares about you. Thanks again for this!!
I am biggest fan of your Dad and also am liking your personality too
Its interrogation not interview and a father's confrontation to daughter's memory n perception of him...
Anurag is so fortunate to have such a forgiving n adorable daughter. Best of luck Aaliya!
Oh shut up...She is lucky to have a rich and famous father.😂
Love how both are equally trying to come closer and be candid for us!! Most candid podcast episode ever!!
love the father-daughter duo
One of the original mad and creative genius of out times. Wish we get to see more of his work.
Ive met your dad personally. He is totally different with you ..which is surprisingly sweet. But would want to know about your mother & her professional journey more.
He's right about the cinematography part. The camera works were awesome. Apart from camera works, im with Aliyah about the misogynistic story line. Another relationship that I like how they showcased was the father son relationship. How difficult that was. I cried at the last part of the movie when Ranbir showed Anil who Anil treated him throughout the years by role reversal
It's so refreshing to see AK be so candid
when is he not candid?
What a lovely conversation. I have always loved both dad and daughter. This was worth every minute. Going back with great insights and life lessons. Thank you Aaliyah and Anurag. 😊
Anyhow she's independent and confident woman she knows what she's doing yes course she should walk away family to build herself great 😢☝👍🙏 may God bless these types girls
Why is it soooo painful to watch him in this situation?
I love this man....
I am also father of a 10 year old girl...
❤❤❤❤
What Animal as a movie done to us- first Sanjay Gupta and now AG is also telling the same thing. Directors are really thinking about film making era as Before Animal and Post Animal.
Animal is not some revolutionary film.lol. sandeep vanga = third class director pretending to be Anurag Kashyap / Tarantino & RGV
@@macksequeira4233vanga might be a third class director, 4rth, 10th or even be a random self certified cinephile commenting on youtube with a channel name "macksequeira4233" or what ever...no one is bothered about that...he made a A-rated film of 3&half hour runtime with pure drama and left audience engaged till the post credits scene and made a bunch of cinephile clowns argue each other on random comments section regarding their opinions....only a film making student knows what he did and what bunch of theories he burnt that existed as traditional rules in film making
@@peacocknemali-eb6rx chup lavdu, tujhe pasand nahi aayi na, chaat uski. Tu wahi kar sakta hai, yeh koi masterpiece nahi hai. Jaake Anurag Kashyap ya RGV ki filmein dekho GENZ chode, akal. toh hai nahi tujme
I just can't imagine what it must have taken to say and hear that he has been a terrible father, ngl it broke my heart to cry. Loved every bit of it. Afterall, Anurag sir's best production 🥹❤️
Legendary filmmaker, and now a very good actor, and i believe he is a very good father.
You can see how much She adoressss him.honesty runs in their blood thats for sure 😁
For the first time a man has agreed he's bad at communication. Loved this podcast
I love Anurag Kashyap work, Raman Raghav2 is my favourite.
That T shirt " dialouge by Kader khan " ... ❤❤❤❤❤
The best thing of this episode .... That T-shirt of Anurag sir. Kader khan saab ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
He is an amazing man..❤ Love his work. So much respect for him ....
This is a lovely podcast Aaliyah, and yes Kader Khan needs to given his due!! Cheerios
The way Aaliyah speaks is so soothing, and I can't resist listening but I have work to do.
It feels like you guys are male and female version of each other..absolutely loved it❤
A wholesome one, it was really nice to see both of you being so candid together. 😊
He was not lying when he said, he is most scared of his daughter 😂
He is choosing his words very cautiously, at least in the beginning of the conversation.
Anurag kashyap Is the one of Best Film producer What A guy He is very litrate man, Love from Sindh Land of Indus Civilization .
this episode was so much more different than the previous ones
felt like i could keep listening to the both of you all day 😭😭 the bond felt so genuinee and loved how both of u were so honest with ur feelings
yall are so wholesome to watch together and i really hope yall stay the way u are and get all the love and appreciation that u deserve for the work that u put out 💗
again, never wanted this to end was so so so idk just felt nice hearing yall talk
ive been watching u on and off but this is my first time ever interacting with ur videos
just know that ure one beautiful human being and so is ur fatherr
ure literally a reflection of both ur mum and dad and trust me IT IS A GOOD THING AT ALL TIMESSS
Anurag is in that stage where people are finally apreeciating his art and there is a huge chunk of audience for his kind of films in india lately and I feel in the next 15 20 years he should make as any movies as possible , and at this age his movies will make money.
which filmmaker was he talking about at the end?
Respect to Anurag Kashyap for doing this most challenging interview ever.
Kader khan was the back bone of hindi films in 90s . He has played all kind of characters in hindi films Great to see anurag sir remembering him.. And bring back our child hood memory watching kadar khan movies throughout 90s ...
The kind of knowledge and enthusiasm for movies which anurag kashyap sir is carrying is simply outstanding....
Hats off to anurag kashyap for that
first time seeing heart of AK Sir. take care always maa. today i think you are the source of the power of AK Sir.
Such a wholesome episode. This episode really took me to the time I was going through the same .
Lots of love
She seems more conscious of her image than her bond with her father. Anurag appears a bit hesitant to open up about his personal life, or maybe he has no connection with the child.
Such an amazing pod!❤ I like how Anurag Sir has a deep understanding of a human’s journey, how he doesn’t like to jump on ‘this person is like this or this person is like that’ , this is how everyone should look at each other, every human evolves at their own pace, and they are in their journey, I too don’t like how judgemental or cancel freaks some people of our generation have become, why so much criticism! And yes it is so true Aaliyah I could always see in your YT videos how honest you are now I know where you get it from, I promote honesty too! ❤”Almost Pyaar” is a hidden gem! I recommend! I feel so sad it didn’t become a hit , it’s a super hit!
What an amazing podcast. Really enjoyed and hope to follow his advice! Thank you so much Aaliyah and Anurag.
!!!It looks amazing to see you both Dad&daughter duo.I am a big fan of sir Anuraj kashap,a great persona indeed, but lots of false rumors are there which a knowledgeable person/film lover would neglect.I urge/suggest you both read our golden ancient literate written by sage, for greater clarity of mind(e.g Veda,Purana, upanishad,Ramayana,Mahabharata).I also knew sir has great collection of world wide known friend from film industries as well as numerous book collection in his house!!!
It was really great and interesting to hear him , I didn't realise how those 51 mins gone by.
He should definitely start his own podcasts.
Who else agree
A super insightful and warm conversation! Absolutely enjoyed it
You are a great daughter. I love the way you appreciate your father and recognize his struggles. You guys definitely have a bond that both of you cherish in different ways. I could see Anurag’s love for you and his appreciation for your mom which is actually very poignant. You have a very wise dad and you are lucky in that sense. It also shows that you are your father’s daughter. I hope you find happiness in life.
The conversation doesn't seem connected. It feels like she is interviewing a celebrity; there is no bond.
They don't need to show off their bonding to everyone.. It is not a movie..
RIP versatile actor Kader khan sahab
Beautiful podcast A ❤, loved it, i just love the man, and the way you asked the questions ♥️♥️, he is very unfiltered which i like
I want to be dad like, who just want to see his daughter doing great and great and greatttttttttttttt...
❤❤❤ AK in Malayalam film….looking forward to it😃
She doesn't realize how awesome her father is. She should have hugged him for being there, supporting her and paying for her marriage.Good example of " Ghar ki murgi daal barabar."
YOU ARE BLESSED❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful Dad daughter podcast. How many people talk so openly about their failures or shortcomings. More power to Mr Kashyp🙏🏽🙌🏾
Wonderful podcast...she is not only beautiful but also Frank and honest...Anurag is a cool dude..
please tell your dad he is a great person he is a lovable father ❤️ he need to believe in himself
❤ this episode and the father and daughter relationship.
I liked his T-shirt & respect towards legendary Kader khan Sir ❤️❤️❤️
Love the vulnerability and honesty here ❤
This episode was like a therapy session. I wish I can have such a candid conversation with my Baba ever.
I have watched ALL the movies directed by AK Senior, but AK Junior is undoubtedly his(and Ms Bajaj's) best production.

Alia I think this is your BEST podcasts!! I LOVED loved it! 💗💗 I hope you can do more content with your parents 💗

One of the best and rooted chat of Kahyap, please do one with Arti Bajaj
Yes yes, this was amazing
I felt like understanding both of you for the first time
Cool episode. Relaxed, laid-back and engaging. And being a fan of Kader Khan Dialogue delivery... That T-shirt is an instant hit! Loved it!
8:26 to 9:00 “Malayalam films”. You’re welcome
Thanks 😊
50:54 Awwww 🥰🥰🥰
Best podcast!! I love your father's work.. respect and love from Sikkim.🫶🙂
Ohhh she is so cute anurag is the best ever filmmaker Bollywood has ever produced
The biggest problem of this society is that honesty is undervalued!!!!! (not underrated) The same fact if put across in a sweeter way, better way will be read and agreed upon, but if its plain and simple, people will look through it. And that is human nature, unfortunately.
This was such a refreshing watch...so candid and so relatable in more ways than one. ♥
I feel your both both story can become a beautiful father-daughter story/movie for anurag sir
I watched many anurag jis interviews. For first time I am seeing i see love or something like that while he is speaking.
You can make another video with similar sensible questions. I think you have so much to share
It’s been an hour since i watched it and still have aaliyah’s yeannhh sound echoing in my head😂
Couldn’t complete watching it because of that repetitive word😢
First 3 minutes of the podcast I judged her rest podcast I understood the relationship of daughter and father so it was just an everyday conversation
This one I watched all at once without forwarding it
Anurag kashyap and sandeep reddy vanga’s podcast will be a blast.
They have to try that just before a release it will be like a promotion to their movies
What a cool dad! Amazing dynamic you guys have, thoroughly enjoyed this episode
