- In celebration of Kobayashi Aika, AKA Aikyan's birthday, the seiyuu for my favorite character of all time, I bring to you a video that's been a long time coming!
Tsushima Yoshik-I mean Yohane from Love Live! Sunshine!! is my favorite character in all of anime! She's cute, she's got a great singing voice, but most importantly she's a chuuni. She is someone who has a weird hobby yet goes full force into that hobby all the same, and that is integral to the story of Love Live. Wanna know how?

Isekai has been a fairly popular genre as of late, with there being over 6 of them in the current Fall 2019 season, from Shinchou Yuusha, Ascendance of a Bookworm to Kemono Michi, there are so many just within this season that it makes you wonder if the genre is oversaturated or possibly that...it's getting worse? The genre that contains such stories as Overlord, No Game No Life, KonoSuba, Re:Zero and so many others...could it be getting worse?

I'm actually wondering if you could do something like this for Kanan. I feel like she gets looked down upon because of her actions in season 1 so it'll be cool if you could do some sort of analysis for her as well. Yohane is definitely best girl. I’ve always loved her and kind of thought I was the only one who liked her so much. Also I ship her with Riko so hard after the episode where they took care of the dog together. Yoshiko is the reason why Riko was able to overcome her greatest fear.
Tetodash: I look at there relationship as more of bestfriends or close like sisters, but I get why some people ship them. but love live doesn't really fall into the romance category, except for the VN or visual novel, but that's different.

Smolleni: you know what's funny is, when they first got around to making the Aqours girls after the original VN and anime, she was the last character designed. they did it that way on purpose, cause Yohana's earlier design looked too similar to Nico, which would've caused confusion. so they tweaked her design a little and here we are. now personally I like both, there actually my favorites in there own respectful school, but when you look at her though you can kinda see how some people thought she was just a copy of Nico. in some ways there personalities are similar, but with Nico she doesn't have an alter ego and talk in the 3rd person. but I have to agree with you that Nico is still number 1.

I just watched all your love live videos and it made me remember how much it means to me. i must say i almost cried in all of them, having goosebumps all over my body shivering. I've been suffering a lot these last 4 years because of depression and anxiety, i used to do music and i loved it, it was everything to me; but my mental illness made me forget about my dreams and my passion. These videos helped me a lot, it made me remember how much I love music, and even now i've got the urge to play the piano and sing again, something that i haven't done in almost a year and now I want to try again.
I feel so related to Yohane and I feel worthless and empty all the time. I'll try to reach that shine again.

In episode 13 season 2 that scene with Yohane on the roof it looked like she knew that Aqours wasn’t over yet. In the episode after Miracle Wave she was the one who went out bringing Ruby and Hanamaru and bought food for their senpais to support after everything they had done for them and the school. Yoshiko ain’t my best girl but she’s respectable and someone I’ll be glad to have as a friend

I love this so much, you’ve managed to say what I’ve always felt about Yoshiko but could never really put into words. As someone with a lot of “weird” passions and hobbies, but is also filled with constant self-doubt, I related to her so much. Every time I feel like the things I love are too uncool or childish, I think about Yoshiko’s individuality and passion and it makes me feel confident in myself too.
I didn’t even make the connection between Riko’s feelings and Yoshiko’s, but it makes so much sense. Love Live Sunshine meant so much to me and taught me so much yet it always has more to give. Truly Yoshiko is Best Girl 😭😭😭

I love Yoshiko, even way back to my first watch of Love Live! Sunshine, and YoshiRiko is an A.O.K. ship for me but it's kind of infuriating how they have to shove it in the anime making it "forced." And yes Riko can relate to Yoshiko but still shoving in YoshiRiko like that isn't fair for YoshiMaru. ( I know ships are just fan service in this anime btw. )

It's fine to accept who you are, but fortune telling and the occult carries real dangers, which I'm not so sure people in Japan are aware of!
And before someone bashes me, I want to say that I understand Yoshiko's mindset completely. I was very much into her "stuff" when I was in second grade, even though I don't live in Japan. I was into strange esoteric "rituals" and tried to establish a secret society together with a much older adult friend who was a freemason, and we would try to recruit my friends. I was also into some magic stuff which I won't discuss (since it is dangerous to even attempt to replicate)
Another thing I did was becoming a member of a literary society dedicated to gothic fiction. We would literally treat Edgar Allan Poe like a cult leader (with a giant image of him, and and if I remember correctly, it also involved quite a lot of candles)
This period of my life was also when I was most obsessed with anime.
Chuunibyou is not an uniquely japanese phenomenon, it is something universal. In my case, I never fully grew out of it (which is fine). What I did do was to accept that it is absolutely harmful to mess with evil spirits. For people having even the slightest knowledge of the spiritual dimension, it is evident that there are things which should absolutely not taken lightly. This is not just something christians believe, even occultists know this! (Which is why people are turned away from the occult)
So there is actually a point in this analysis that is true, but not when applied to things such as fortune-telling and magic. The consequences of these things can be far reaching. Alexander Dugin is an example of a person who was influenced by the occult to do bad things.
