This is the first time I have been to your channel, so excited to have found you. Your work in both beautiful and inspiring. Thanks, looking forward to watching more of your videos.
May I ask, what is the gauge and material of the wire that you are using to hold up your ornaments? I have used nitride but it slumps at high fire. Thank you.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what material it is, I got it at my local pottery shop in The Netherlands: www.silexshop.nl/product/staaf-metaal-diam-2x300-mm-1250c/
Thank you!! I didn't weigh them, but my tree is strong enough😅 To make them light it is important to throw as thin as possible. And I would also recommend to trim as much clay as you can. If you struggle with throwing thin you could also trim both sides of the ball.
Wow! You certainly have more than a few noteworthy tricks up your sleeve. BRAVO!
Thank you so much!!😁
These are fantastic!
I like the tip of using a heat gun to firm up before removing from the hump - next time I'm going to try it as it seems I always make a mess. 👍🏼
Have fun! I hope it helps😁
EXCELENTE..ME EN-CAN-TO 👌🏼. SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA 🇦🇷
Nice video! Where do you find the wire to hang them in the kiln?
From my research ppl ussualy use high resistence metals such as tungstain but personally never tried yet

Beautiful!!! The thick wire you used to hang - what gauge (I think that’s the strength) is it?
Thank you! I have actually no idea😅 It's a kanthal wire with a diameter of 4mm
AMEI!!!!
Lindos todos os seus trabalhos.❤❤
Great video as usual! Thank you! Question - how heavy are they? any tips on making sure that it doesn't get too heavy and thick?
