I had stopped making bells but this video has given me new resolve to try again. So much of your process has cleared up the construction issues that was causing me grief. The end result is pleasing both visually and audibly. Thank you
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. This is one of the very reasons why I make my videos. To inspire and help others overcome challenges in their creative journey. I hope you try making bells again. Wishing you lots of joy and success with your creations! 😘💫
I loved your video. Thank you for the inspiration. I will make your Christmas bells, just have to find a community kiln to use. By the way, I loved the sound of the rain on your skylight and also how happy your dog was when you ran across the yard. Merry Christmas to you too.
New to your channel today love this video, your process and the bespoke look is inspiring. I love seeing the sculptor in the pieces through their imperfect, perfect marks. These are on my list to make. I’ve also subscribed looking forward to following you 😃✨
Thank you for posting this. It's a beautifully calming video to watch. I'll definitely have a go at making these bells. I've some air dry clay - the sort used for children's crafting - and hopefully that'll work just as well. Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Air-dry clay should work well for this project. Just don’t jingle them too hard, haha;) But it’s perfect for decorative use! Have fun creating your bells!🫶🏼🔔💫
I've never heard of groggy clay, what is it plz? Love your bells so beautiful and beautifully made of one of a kind music. I love bells also and have collected some old over the years. Do you have a video on baking/drying process? Merry Christmas 🤶
Thank you!🙏🏻 At the moment no baking/drying video (yet). Groggy clay is a type of clay with grog added to it-small, pre-fired ceramic particles. These particles make the clay stronger and less likely to crack, which makes it great for things like handbuilding, sculptures, or pottery that needs extra durability.💫🌲🦌🫶🏻
These are gorgeous! And I love the sound. Is this high fire or low fire clay? I am thinking high fire because of durability, but I have some Low fire I’d like to use up.
It’s definitely worth trying! My only concern is that it might be a bit challenging to achieve a nice round shape this way, but experimenting could lead to some great results. Let me know how it turns out if you give it a try! 🫶🏼💫
I love the organicness of your bells. Thank you!
Thank you, Audrey!🫶🏻💫

Would it work to make the clapper by putting 2 small pinch pots together vs hollowing out the balls?

Heel erg leuk, is het gebakken klei of zelf drogende klei. Ineke
Dank je! Dit is gebakken klei. Wil in de toekomst ook iets doen met zelfdrogende klei. So stay tuned😉💫🫶🏻
