I had a horrible last year. Both parents died and my husband diagnosed with leukemia was having a transplant. Watching your videos have brought me calm and encouraged me to get back to my water coloring, knitting, sewing and love of nature. Thank you for sharing your love of life with others.
THis Neo Classical shape from the 18th century is one of our favoites this last year .. Rajiv saw somthing in the bottom of the top part I never saw .When he turns it over to throw the round bit at the bottom of the top part he really makes it very round and THAT adds so much to the balance of the finished pot when you add the bottom colonade . These are amazing to see in person and are wonderful planted up ... They are a bear to fire :)
Dearest Rajiv, this has got to be THE most beautiful and cinematic video you’ve ever shared here. It’s such a joy to watch. So relaxing. Well done. And thank YOU! ❤
I wish to purchase a stamped Rajiv piece. Aside from that, yes to the other comments. Rajiv's videos slow my mind and my heartbeat down to a calm and peaceful pace. In this world so full of uncertainty and I believe oftentimes intentional chaos, Rajiv is a respite, a reminder of all that is worthwhile and good in man's pursuits. Thank you Rajid. May you know how many people you not only touch, but heal.
You are the much needed breath of fresh air, the one who through your many creative pursuits provides inspiration to those of us who need a gentle nudge toward our own creativity. A Renaissance man, truly. Please tell your audience how one might purchase one of your pieces. I will be near the head of the line!
My left-handed child in high school pottery class was told that a left-handed person could "never throw good." This child went on to produce more pottery than any other student. My child grown now continues to shed negativity in all aspects of life.
The wonderfiul thing about being left handed on a western wheel that gose counter clockwise means the strong dominant hand is on the interior of the pot as it is in the east where the wheel in going clockwise (The strong right hand in the interior of the pot ..Left Handed people in the west make, by nature, eastern style pots that are very very beautiful ...Long live the south paw in western potteries :)
Love that there was no talking in this video. I love your narrations but …having just you, working on your pottery made this video more serene…and that place…makes me want to go there lol
Our boy has potters muscles! I love how serene this was. So natural. Skills like these can take many many years but there's a point where the clay and the artist become an extension of one another. It's almost symbiotic like many art forms
This documents a spiritual experience. The tranquility is unparalleled and the pottery is beautiful rivalled only by the physical beauty of Rajiv. Remarkable.
It's lovely to embrace calming healthy hobbies and creative things I'm so much more inspired by this video... Exactly what I'm preparing for this Fall season... Cool weather and beautiful creations for my soap creations 🙏🏠👍
This is exactly what I wish a lot of people would embrace... / Having healthy hobbies and creative things to feed our spirits makes for a calmer lifestyle... RS keeps me focused on what my creative space needs and I'm just about done putting it in motion 🙏🏠
Everything about this, every single thoughtful aspect of your video has brought me to tears. Tears of happiness, reflection, hope and stillness. Thank you Rajiv❤
Really beautiful Rajiv and production team!! I started crying half way through this, I think just for what we have lost in modern life. The sacredness of being able to create and work with ones hand, the connection to nature, water, and all the sweet beauty of the earth. Thank you, thank you for this lovely reminder! Thank you for your art. ❤
I very much like this style of video. Non-verbal. Your audio is wonderful. Music background, natural sounds in the studio, nature shots, cleanup. This I can watch again and again. I look forward to your next release. Thank you Rajiv!
This was too lovely for words. The ways you embody the archetypal Artist are such a gift of example for those of us blocked creators who've struggled feeling stuck in our heads and in our screens and in our fears. Thank you for reminding us all of the beauty of just living your dang life and doing the dang things. 💐
Another lovely video, Rajiv. Normally, I enjoy hearing your voice and listening to your explanations with your characteristic sense of humor, but this one with nothing but music to complement the visuals was so soothing. Thank you!
Rajiv - what a stunning creation this video is. No sound - except for you working; and the sound was exquisite. What an ingenious concept. Listening is a lost art. I am grateful to you for reminding me of that. With sincere thanks.
This was just about the best video ever! You are an inspiration and a beautiful maker. Everything you touch turns into something magical. I’d give anything for one of your pots! 😍
From the first moment as the fluttering of his shirt beckons us in, we are glided into a world few savor. Hypnotic, tranquil with peace prevalent. Every movement sheer joy. Creating a one of a kind, uniquely perfection vessel. Thinking of how many people seeing this today, and those seeing it in the future will lovingly want to caress it's beautiful lines. Rajiv, blessings and continue sharing your amazing life with us. So much is learned with an awareness of many things lost in our current civilization. I want to thank your parents for they have an amazing son, whom I wish to know more of. Jersey Ann in NJ
Seeing you without your ever present bracelets made me feel as if I was participating in an intimate moment. Thank you for sharing your special moments with us.
What an absolutely beautiful, serene, relaxing atmosphere and your concentration on the work of art! You are as precious as diamonds and emeralds which are my fav😂🤣. Thank you Rajiv for sharing and making our day a wonderful day🙏❤
Rajiv, It’s really a sensual experience watching you throw pottery! I have experienced throwing porcelain but couldn’t do both the creative process of forming, firing & painting with only one kiln (Germain)! I decided to only paint on blank porcelain, in the traditional (German) Meissen-style. I studied many years under master Alfredo Toldano (now deceased) & Wilma Manfred (Germany). It is such an honor to watch your many talents & skills❣️
What a beautiful video! Love the cinematography, the music and the silence. No words were needed. It was so serene. Your pottery is so beautiful, I wish I could purchase one with your stamp. Thank you for sharing your talents.
What a beautiful composition! I especially loved the opening sequence. The repetition and irreverent quality was so pleasing to the spirit. Thank you ✨
Fascinating watching you at work. The communion between you and clay is palpable. The absolute concentration, as the clay obeys the movement of your hands, and finally takes the shape of whats in your mind. Every stage of this vase taking shape was captivating. The stamp , ~~with something that looked like a coat of arms~~~was the final royal touch to a magnificent piece of art. Thank you Rajiv.
Everything about this video was so beautiful. The beautiful pots. Watching you create them. The breathtaking scenery. The flowers. Even the beautiful background music. I enjoyed watching it so much Thank you for sharing this experience.
In India and part of Sri Lanka and some Arab countries, one doesn't need a reason or story to adorn oneself with golds! Its part of everyday life. We wear 22 carat jewelry. If I am not wrong, even the so called Patek Phillipe, Rolex, Cartier watches are made of only 18 carats. We had so many kings in India starting in BC before the moghuls, Dutch, Portuguese, French snd British established their rule.
They're just bracelets, they're not really worn by men in Sri Lanka (Not that I've seen at least) but they look nice, I don't think there's a grand story behind it or anything
Love your signature stamps . May I ask the company that made them for you? Your work is so exceptional. You learned some great skills from your mentor, Guy Wolff
I could sit in nature all day, listening to the birdsong and watching the bees. Hours would have passed and I would not even have noticed. Rajiv your videos bring such a calming peace in my hectic world and for that I thank you.
I had a horrible last year. Both parents died and my husband diagnosed with leukemia was having a transplant. Watching your videos have brought me calm and encouraged me to get back to my water coloring, knitting, sewing and love of nature. Thank you for sharing your love of life with others.
A 17 minute video on Rajiv being the dreamiest man on earth? That's a hard and confident *CLICK* for me.

@guywolff Rajiv has been classically trained by you! His pots are amazing. Honored to witness this collaboration. Thank you both.
This is like the beginning of a movie! The music is gorgeous, the camera.... Just fabulous!! Thank you for doing this, you make so many people happy.
Dearest Rajiv, this has got to be THE most beautiful and cinematic video you’ve ever shared here. It’s such a joy to watch. So relaxing. Well done. And thank YOU! ❤
I've been throwing pottery for 11 years and have never had a day like this. So inspiring and calming.

Oh so true. This will be my go-to when I need to calm and clear my mind. It uplifts my soul.
The feeling of utter calm….
My left-handed child in high school pottery class was told that a left-handed person could "never throw good." This child went on to produce more pottery than any other student. My child grown now continues to shed negativity in all aspects of life.
Pottery wheels can turn both ways (wheel turns right for left handed and left for right handed) which prooves that it is common...
@@chloeuntrau4588 wonder why the teacher would make such a statement?
The wonderfiul thing about being left handed on a western wheel that gose counter clockwise means the strong dominant hand is on the interior of the pot as it is in the east where the wheel in going clockwise (The strong right hand in the interior of the pot ..Left Handed people in the west make, by nature, eastern style pots that are very very beautiful ...Long live the south paw in western potteries :)
@@guywolff the pots produced were spectacular! I agree with your theory/experience 💯.
@guywolff thank you sir! What an honor! I have such beautiful work from this child. I cherish them all.
Rajiv a true modern renaissance man. 🏛️
Love that there was no talking in this video. I love your narrations but …having just you, working on your pottery made this video more serene…and that place…makes me want to go there lol
Wow! The music, the craftsman, and the art. Thank you.
The physicality of this video is perfection…just you and the clay and nature…and your splendid artistry!!
Our boy has potters muscles! I love how serene this was. So natural. Skills like these can take many many years but there's a point where the clay and the artist become an extension of one another. It's almost symbiotic like many art forms
How could anybody not love this talented, creative, modest man ❤
This is the best movie I've seen in a long time !!
Your videos make my mind calm down. It must be you and all the talented people behind the camera. Thank you very much.
This documents a spiritual experience. The tranquility is unparalleled and the pottery is beautiful rivalled only by the physical beauty of Rajiv. Remarkable.
Not one word but so much was said in that video. Such beauty, peace and joy. Thank you

❓How many clay creations you have made? What do you do with them? Sell? Gift or donate to others? Or just collect them?
So beautiful…so contemplative…like a Merchant-Ivory film.
Thank you for this beautiful little film. Just what I needed after a busy week. Blessings.
