Awesome! Great work making this video. I am sure it cost some money to knock those trees down, but worth every penny because you don't have to DIY and deal with the clean up yourself. Let them deal with getting injured, sore muscles, or broken body parts. You got one HELLUVA homestead...jealous!
Hey Chris, I was not cheap for sure but worth every penny. This work is SO dangerous even for experienced professionals. I typically rent a 50 foot lift once/year and get everything I can over a weekend rental (24hrs of cutting). I usually come pretty close to killing myself at least once every time I do it. Last year I cut a branch at the full 50ft extension of the lift and unknow to me there was another very large branch that had been under pressure up against it. When it let loose it raked right across the bucket and nearly took me with it. I survived but my saw was not as lucky... Thanks!
