The only bad thing about this watch is that it never breaks. I've rough used it since 2014 when it first came out. It just doesn't break. I've been wanting to upgrade to a new sports watch but this utilitarian super sturdy watch will keep going strong! 😆
I've owned a Polar M400 for a number of years, around 5. I also own a Galaxy S4 watch. While the Polar isnt as pretty, it is a far more accurate running or cycling tracker than the Samaung. The GPS is MUCH more accuarate. I've taken both flying, the Polar is spot on, even with altitude. The GPS is usually with 10 feet accurate.
It has a USB flap cover, that's probably broken on the reviewer's watch. But even without the flap, it's waterproof. Taken it for swims and also for water sports.
@@CiaoGibson Correct. Only on the older version like the one that I bought. They make them better now where the rubber piece is not needed. Recently purchased the Garmin Forerunner 245 w/music. Much better watch than this Polar. Night and day.
@@profighter1234 I had Polar m400, I used it for rowing and running. After a half of year my hr7 die,and I bought new one that again die. And now after one year, USB port just do not work. I buy forerunner 245 music, I love it! Garmin is better for longer time, (I have forerunner 25 6years, and it still works and hr monitor too!), and also Garmin have more settings for tracking your training and progress.
@@vanesatot4161 Funny, after my Polor finally took a dump on me hours B4 a 50 mile race when I needed it most, I purchased the Forerunner 245 music as soon as I got home. Great watch! Going Garmin from here on out!

Got a m400 with h7 puls belt for 70€ - first impression - its great and not a cheap inaccurate gimmick like most fitness tracker under 100 euro.

So can you just use it as a fitness tracker Such as just using heart rate to monitor your workout if you just use a stationary bike like my old ft80
Hey!!! Are you using the seiko snz. Military ? Is a good watch?
how do you check heart rate and gps?
Definitely best watch in this price range
Thanks a lot for the great video! Is it possible to install swimming app on M400?
yes it is possible, you have to download polar flow and u can set it there but u have to connect with ur watch through USB cabel
Which heart rate monitor did you use with the M400 watch?
Karl Zeigler hr7
points at open usb port ans says "it's completely water proof" ... nope

You got ripped off. there is a rubber piece attached to the phone that fits inside the USB port.
Pro Fighter not on the new version.
