Macallan Harmony "Intense Arabica" innovative or money grab? Thoughts?

Amazingly accurate assessment. Bought this a few weeks ago and it's really not lining up with my other bottles in similar price range. Kind of a generic taste without even a modest hint of coffee, which doesn't matter too much because it's all gone soon anyway.

Thanks for the review, i saw this at my local shop for only $190 today and I almost insta-bought it. I watched some reviews quickly and decided to pass.
Macallan's are a tough one for me. They are very good, solid Whiskey's but they are a jack of all trades, master of none. Very good balanced whiskey, but always missing character. It is like going on a date with a woman who's a perfect 10 for looks, but has no personality. It is delicious and boring at the same time. It sounds like this is yet another Macallan that fits that description. I don't mind spending $200 on whiskey, but maybe I'll spend it on something that has more character.
