- I head back out to explore the property where we were lucky enough to get our first Permission to see just how much chalcedony we can find. I even find precious opal in rhyolite. Such a fun day! Hope you all enjoy 😁
For some seriously awesome crystal vids please do yourself a favour and check out the Crystal Collectors channel. “Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?”

My jaw was on the floor when I saw that botryoidal mega beauty, amazing!
It’s beautiful isn’t it!
I just love watching your videos. You and Benny together finding stones you love is so charming. Keep up the great vids. 👍❤
Thank you so much kelly kelly, I’m so glad you enjoy them. 😊👍
Awesome finds guys. You crack me up. You two are so funny together.
Oh man I'M GOBSMACKED! Beauties man absolutely Beautiful!
Wow, so many jaw dropping finds here what beautiful rocks. Holy crap! What an amazing day here, look forward to part 2 and 3! Thanks man! Godzilla rock, that's badass!
Love the Reptilian rock!
They are all great finds.
That crystal collector reference had me dying! I love it! My husband and I always go WHATTTTTT as a reference as well!
Haha! It’s so hard not to haha! I love his vids 👍😉
Whohoho......what a good finds!!!
Wonderful rocks and a visit from a wallaby?? What??? How cool was that.
Cool finds buddy!! That bubble agate is fantastic quality. Lucky find indeed.keep hunting.
Nigel Kavanagh
Thank you Nigel! It certainly was a great day out there.
Great finds! Wow! That big botryoidal one is insane!
Very interesting finds. Thank you for sharing & keep up the good work.
Jealous, envious, and all the other emotions that go with those words.
You certainly had a good day, Benny found a real corker and of good size too.
Some nodules that formed in mid air and splatted on impact while still hot, Opal and common Opal both cool, waterline agate will show great definition when the face is polished.
Water power and rock weight dispersing rocks or were they all picked clean from one section?
Great video, looking forward to the clean up.
Symon Sheppard
Heyyyyyyy Symon!!!!! Thanks for such a nice comment dude, we were very lucky with the finds and that the chalcedony gods saw fit to allow us the pleasure of finding the pretty little guys. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
How amazing was Benny’s one!?! So cool!
So where the creek went “dry” with no rocks, well, no pretty ones... is because of nature I’m pretty sure. The creeks out here have sections where it’s elusive and then some parts end up being full of the little gems and sometimes big ones. We’re talking with a fellow Hounder who’s trying to figure out how the stuff is deposited through the river. It seems it’s deposited by wash outs on the mountains either side.
It’s getting pretty interesting to be honest.
Will email you after packing up camp tomorrow! I hope you enjoyed the video brother 👍
Great day! Loving Godzilla and all your finds, Maverick. Benoit found a honker, didn't he? Beautiful Australia. 😊👏👏👏
Hey Lizzy! I’m glad you’re enjoying the older videos 😊 that Godzilla one was really cool. Yeah this was where Benny started to really get the nack of it, and now he’s always finding the big ones haha! 🤣😂🤣
Rookie Rockhounding , you've created a monster in Benny. Get it? A monster? GODZILLA! Bahahaha! I know, I know....bad joke.😉😂😂😂
Bahahahaha! That was brilliant! Bad jokes are my favourite 😂🤣😂🤣
I love a few inches of clear water, you can see all the great finds so much easier, and if the sun is out, even better.
That’s it isn’t it, a shallow creek, but of sun and it’s all good times! 😁👍
Aw man, what an awesome day, thanks for sharing it with us tubers. When you found that first one right outta the car it was destined to be a magnificent day of fossicking and appears it fulfilled the promise. And the visit from the native wallabie was super cool. That botryoidal piece Benny found is very beautiful. Not sure if it would work but if you could get that cut off the matrix cleanly, then tumble the one big piece with tons of really little pieces, it will make that stuff look so delicious and edible yumminess! Also, the green piece you found would make a really nice cab for a belt buckle or silver bracelet centerpiece. Wow, just wow. Thanks again for the eye candy, look forward to the next adventure!
Backcountry with Shaughn
I know right! I found that one on the side of the road without all by itself??? So lucky really. I’m so grateful that you enjoyed the video mate.
Thank you so much!
I follow the Crystal Collector as well so your "WHAT" comment cracked me up. I live in SW Idaho not too far from an area where I find agates, small crystals, and a lot of the rocks you're finding. There's also opal of which I have found lots of common opal and some very small pieces of fire opal. I have five gallon buckets full of cool rocks. Also I've found some cool thunder eggs. Love watching you go rock hunting.
Hahahaha! It totally came out without me thinking just “what!!!???” Haha! I watch his videos so much, just brilliant hey.
Ha! Buckets of rocks, it’s so addictive and a healthy addiction at that. Sounds like you’re finding very similar to what we are, there must be an old volcano near by maybe.
Thank you so much for watching Miani!
Happy houndin
I had a really good friend at a trade school from Idaho I heard rock hounding is a great pastime out there you should post some videos on your finds we would love to see what Idaho rocks look like I think I have some green imperial Jasper from out there I also collect carnelian agates and lavender quartz lately in orange county check out my vids if you want happy rock hounding
Mlani Thurston
I second that! The more rock sharing the better! 💎
Nice video guys!! The piece you said might be Mica is actually Perlite. Heaps of it down there. And as someone else said, the crystals in the decaying basalt are Olivine. Nice finds, all of them. Cheers, Mike
Michael Cawdrey
Hey Mike!!!! Thanks for having a look at the video for us. And thank you for identification help!!! Perlite, and olivine 👍👍👍
Have a great weekend mate, need to catch up soon.
Awesome finds there boys, some real nice goodies 👍👍
Rob Rabbit
Hey brotha! Thanks heaps! The creek was very kind to us that day 😉💎👍
What you found was simply the best, I would sell in whole like it was first, then cut any way you want six months later.
Dang! You guys are killing it! All great scores, but man oh man @ 3:12. Killer gem.
Oh man I know right!!! It was a beast! Thanks bud!
The bubblie yellow large rock looks like a bears dream..amber coloured honey.😊👯🇺🇸✌❤

Thank you for watching Dude! I’ll be back from camp tomorrow to catch up with your vids. Take care brotha! Talk soon 💎
I love The Godzilla Rock! 😀😄
Haha! It’s one of my favourites 🤣
What a score! Too bad I'm 8500 miles away! I'd join you guys in a heartbeat. LOVE the botryoidal chalcedony and the opal rocks (as a verb).
Thank you very much dude! Haha! As a verb! Took me a second to figure that out! Nice one 👍
Someday, I’d love to travel to Australia and convince you to take me with you and Benny! That would be a vacation of a lifetime! ♥️ Need to start saving money now...
It’s such a beautiful country, I recommend anyone to visit!
Hi, your so lucky, great finds, greetings from Wales 🏴
Tinkerbell Blue
Hey, yeah we are very very lucky out here. So much good times to be had! Greetings from Aus🤟
Awesome glad I found yall awesome video brothers new subscriber from Kentucky yall
Molly Singleton
Thank you very much Molly!
Some good pieces in there! Nice work on the video. I found a little bit of gold today, but it was just a few tiny flour specs I got as I was demonstrating some panning by my bigfoot river, not even worth keeping.
Thanks man! Oh nice!!! We haven’t come across any indications of gold in these creeks yet, but it’s never been mentioned there either so we kinda haven’t looked properly haha.
Hope you’re keepin well mate!
Wonderful, and spectacular fine for your friend Benny . I often think that I should ask someone to send me some of those beautiful agates . However it would cost a fortune by mail. I live in Western North Carolina . By the way , I watch Liz Creates on You Tube . Possibility that she lives close to you , not sure. Enjoying your videos, thank you.
Myrtha Gunter
Thank you very much Myrtha! Oh I would love to send people some but I don’t know how without it costing an arm and a leg. Maybe one day hopefully I’ll be able to do that 👍
I lovvvvvvvvvvve Liz and Wal’s videos, so much, but I think they live in another state far down south maybe? I’d love to go out on a rock hunt with those two!
Have a great rest of the weekend 👍
Tennessee also has good agate
you are awesome. please dont stop making videos :)

Thanks milesnn 🤟
Love th Godzilla rock!!hilarious🤣🤣
Haha! It was a cool find that one haha!
I figured you guys would end up finding some precious opal! Small piece, but so pretty! Where there's small pieces, there's big pieces! xD
Chris Sutherland
Hey Chris! Yeah so small, pretty much the tiniest ever! Haha! But very true, where there’s little ones there should be biggins! Hopefully.... haha
I like the rock that looks like Godzilla....i collect weird looking rocks ...cool find
Haha, yeah he is pretty cool lookin hey. We were out at this spot just today and were talking about how weird but cool he is.
Love the Godzilla Rock!
Y’all are some lucky dudes. Fantastic finds. Can’t find agates or chalcedony in New York. Would love to but never happens
Bizz 420
Thanks Bizz, yeah we are soooooo lucky that where we live there used to be a massive shield volcano. That always helps, plus having kind farmers who let us on their land. 😂
Thanks for watching and the rad comment man 👍
;) you can find Herkimer diamonds there tho
Thirst Fast this is true and I’ve been to both ace of diamond and koa mines. Got me a nice cluster out of ace of diamonds. Great place but a lot of work
Worth it though! I've seen a couple Crystal Collector videos at Ace of Diamonds, man oh man, I'd love to get out that way sometime!

Looks like milky boulder opal!
Holy crap Benoit!......
Hahaha! He’s so damn good at this whole rockhounding thing 😉
Fun fact: some of that chalcedony or common opal might glow under UV light, which would mean trace amounts uranium present. (Should be harmless though, but I'm not entirely sure.) I've got quite a few pieces of chalcedony and agate from the Rockies in Canada, the area I was in also had some blues. I was successful at harvesting a complete Vug nugget of blue out of the surrounding volcanic rock! It's one of my top two favourite pieces I have. It's about the size of my palm, should I slab it or polish it whole?
Sweet stuff as always man. Unfortunately i was in a car accident so i wont be doing videos for a bit. Guess i better watch yours
Oh no man! I hope you are okay! That’s honestly horrible, rest up and get well soon, so you can get back out there finding the pretty ones again. Are you okay?
Rookie Rockhounding im alive. A lady slammed into us at 50 mph we were at a complete stop too. Sucks but were alive. Thank you.

Oh dude no I know, especially these older ones. I’m trying to get better at the right mix of music and annoyance ha! Trying anyway. But dude I was born in socal, we lived in a place called Hemet till I was six and we moved over here. When I was 6.

The crystals in the basalt might be olivine.
Thirst Fast
Hey! Thank you dude! I’m pretty sure you may be right! They’re very brittle and probably can’t do anything with them but it’s rad to know. Cheers TF!
What state and area in Australia was this in guys
I'm sure the CC would be flattered by your "accidental" reference!

5:25 AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA U fund mini godzilla , 7:12 maby if u cut it right , may have more in ..
Oh it may too! But it’s benni’s Rock so he may not like me cutting into it 🤣
Oh wait, no I know which one you mean now. The opal one. It might have more in it but it’s pretty small and I’d hate to loose too much material. Basically, I’m too rookie to cut into that one haha!
Take care mate!
Like 👍
Thank you!!! 🙏👍

5:25 looks like the head of a turtle
Haha, I know right, wish I had the patience to carve it into something.
Hello
marvel and rock hounding fan
Hey! Thanks for stopping by. 👍
Are these stons have any value ?
wa wa
Value is in the eye of the beholder. Monetarily, maybe. But probably not unless worked into jewellery, or if they are seen to be pretty enough to someone who would pay to display them. In terms of if they were amazing to find? Definitely valuable to me. Do you find value in witnessing a 23 million year old stone being picked up and enjoyed for possibly the first time by a human? I do.
In short, to me, they are valuable.
We're is this
So this is in Australia, in south east Queensland 😊
I've found some beauties out near Dysart, Central Queensland
Bom dia meu amigo sou brasileiro e sou o mais novo escrito no seu canal. Tmj amigo olha o like like like like like like like like like Tmj

Hahaha! Asri there is a bunch of them out here 🤣 but fingers crossed we don’t have to encounter any any time soon ha!
Great video. Background music is distracting.
Hey thanks for the compliment, and also the genuine constructive criticism, I really do appreciate the input. Thank you Jolene. 👍
Please find indonesia agate 🙏

Rock hounding in Afghanistan isn't a pleasant event. 2 tours and it was 1 i.e.d. after another. If you can help it, DON'T go there 👍.
Oh wow, I don’t reckon it would be pleasant. I take my hat off to you mate. You did your country proud.
