    Quadzilla boost fooler install, it's the perfect time to do it now because you have a mechanical boost gauge and you can see the difference in the Boost readings at Full Throttle before and after, I gained about 10 psi of boost after the installation and not too expensive either.

      @EVERYTHANGDIESEL  6 років тому

      i thought about doing it but since i planned on changing out the turbo i wasn't gonna do it but i think i will still. Thanks man.

    • @tsimmons1974ts
      @tsimmons1974ts 6 років тому

      No problem it still would be a great enhancement For a new turbo, remember the computer will cut off the Boost at around 25 or 30 PSI at least that's what happened on my 5.9 that would hinder the new turbos boost potential so the fooler will definitely help, by the way let us know what the full Boost on your truck is reading because if it's over 45 PSI then your tuner already has a fooler built in.

      @EVERYTHANGDIESEL  6 років тому +1

      tsimmons1974ts thanks for the info man. My tuner doesn't have a boost fooler it tops out at like 35psi. After that I'll definitely be looking into one now. Thanks man.

    I put all the bundles in the pillar and just ran the one wire from each color down so all u had to worry about was the four wires below the pillar

    Nice Vid!! Even if it is a fiat er dodge. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Major props for soldering some of your connections. That said, lil constructive criticism, you shouldve made them inline splices. Or where you have one feeding two or more use a combination of a pigtail and inline splice. Looks better and more conducive to clean install. Just be sure BOTH conductors counter wrap around each other (not just one wire wraped around the other). Also, shrink tube is cheap and looks much better. Also also, using an environmental Stakon er crimp connector is advisable if you cant/dont want to solder. Apologies , 25yrs as a Sparkee working for oem has jaded me. Good luck! Cheers!

    Gauges look awesome. I was wondering how you likes the AMS oil in transmission? Was thinking of trying it, my 08 6.7 does fine on highway but pulling camper on steep back roads heats up over 200 with mag hytec and Lucas synthetic. Need to keep tranny temp down, any suggestions?

    2 questions for you. Are the gauges the tinted 7 color? And, do your gauges face you? Mine face up and over towards the dome light. The pods are made at a terrible angle. It's as if they are made to face a 7 foot tall person sitting in the middle of the truck.

      Just use a quality grease. Wolfs Head for example, or Mobile One if you want to use a synthetic. Just stick with one or the other, don’t mix. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
