    I think the price point is great! I've heard about Sticker Mule in the past, but didn't realize how many options they had in product. Definitely worth looking into! Yeah, I'm way behind watching videos! Blame the tornado that hit our house two weeks before Christmas! Talk about losing my but in fear, but all the inventory that needed replaced and ruined product that was ready to be shipped. Thank goodness for insurance!

    That's a handy little bugger! I can see plenty of uses. Do they offer a weather proof label? In skin care you really need weather proof paper for a lot of products. However, I do use a lot of regular label stock as well. Especially in my candle line. Great video on a new product. You did a good job of showing how to set up the labeler. As a woman, if it's a machine I hate messing with it, but this looks pretty straight forward. Thanks Wade!

      As far as the labels... they are weather resistant but not weather proof. I wouldn't use white bopp for bath and body products myself as you mentioned. Those require waterproof for sure. These labels work good for the majority of standard uses.... but not for everything. ;)

    Great Idea with the label machine, only one design flaw that I see in it is that it is a left handed machine based on the side panel being a bit in the way for a right handed person since the label roll is flush to the right side. Soooooo.......here's my issue (well one of them lol). I can't afford to have my labels professionally printed, yet, but I also do not own a printer.....uggghhh. Any suggestions on a good printer that would be affordable to someone poor as dirt that might also produce an acceptable candle label? I am waffling between clear labeling and a simple white label with crisp black lettering at this point. My vessels are both glass and cement. I do own a Cricut but it seems that would take a tremendous amount of time to weed all the labels. The struggle is real people lol. TIA

    • @BlackTieBarn
      @BlackTieBarn  2 роки тому +1

      That's a label applicator. Good ones are expensive. This isn't isn't everyone... but it's already cut my label time in half. So much faster (for me) than peeling each one by hand and fumbling with what roll and paper. But again... will be different for everyone. I'm enjoying it so far.
      But yes... the applicators are amazing for high volume for sure!

  • @elflecha007
    @elflecha007 2 роки тому +1

    The labels look great but the label machine is useless in my opinion. Even at your business scale, changing the roll to a different scent every 24 jars or so is by far worst than just peeling them.
    The only reasonable application would be to just use it for the generic brand stickers for packaging since every order gets a few and there's no need to change the roll till it's all gone

    • @BlackTieBarn
      @BlackTieBarn  2 роки тому +1

      Yep, that was what I mentioned in the video. It really makes the most sense foelr either 1) warning labels or 2) if you are doing like a hundred + of one scent so you aren't having to change them frequently. I use mine exclusively for warning labels right now

But as you scale... you cant beat online lab pricing by printing at home. Just isn't possible. I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
