Thank you sir. I had never pulled fuel injectors before and this video was the best one on UA-cam I could find. It made swapping my injectors around on my 2020 a piece of cake. I appreciate it man.
Thank you sir! I’ve been looking for an injector video on this generation for a while. Just changed all 16 spark plugs to have the same code. I’m thinking cylinder 5 needs a new injector. Thank you! Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

Are you saying it is hesitating at start up everytime or every morning or something like that? Pulling the fuse and running the engine until it quits is only to reduce pressure in the fuel rail and minimize spray and mess after pulling the old injectors out. If you are experiencing hard starts regularly after the new injectors, my first thought would be an air leak past an o-ring.
So I put some non name brand injectors in my 2012 charger rt with a 5.7 hemi . And after I did that it started to hesitate then fires up do you think I need to change them by getting some new ones and this time take the fuel pump fuse or relay out and turn the car on so all the gas drains into the tank and out of the fuel rail and my problem will be solved.
@hightopfad with new plugs, new coils and new injector, it is narrowing down to 2 remaining possibilities. #1 is a wiring issue, or #2 failed lifter and very possibly damaged camshaft. That is actually what ended up happening with Hemrietta
@@Hillbillygarage1215 I haven't tried the injectors yet. I went to Walmart to get an oil change and fuel injection cleaning, that's when the problem started.
It is the next step in the diagnostic process. It is possible to swap injectors to see if the problem moves but you would need some o-rings on hand incase one were to get damaged during the swap.
I am hoping it is in-fact an injector... because the next step is camshaft and lifters. If you do this step with a new injector and that fixes the problem then you are done. If you swap injectors and the problem moves, you still have to go back under the hood to do the injector swap.
@@Hillbillygarage1215Thanks! We ended up having to change out the camshaft and replace the lifters, now i’m getting a P0108 MAP/Pressure Sensor Circuit High code and the truck is shifting weird and won’t shift above 4th gear, although it does run mechanically well. I’m reading something about doing a relearn on the truck and was wondering if that could be causing my problem and/or if it is necessary to do after tearing apart the engine? Thanks in advance
@leeratay5391 Also check to insure all vacuum lines are properly in place. A vacuum leak can trigger MAP sensor code. Make sure the hose between the air box and the air horn (behind the throttle body) is back in place.

You are very welcome. Thank you for visiting Hillbilly Garage. Hopefully we can help you with something else in the future.
I hope this is the solution. I got a tune up and my number 5 is still misfiring.
@@hightopfad did you switch 2 coil packs around to see if the misfire moves?
@Hillbillygarage1215 yes I did. I got a tune up with new colis

What was the reason for replacing the injector(s)? have a misfire and plugs and coils haven’t fixed the problem
