5:50 While It is true that melee attacks dont benefit from the shield, projectiles fired by melee weapons DO get the bonuses from electric shield, including the bonus electricity damage. Meaning You could proc melee influence on a weapon without modding for electricity easily just by using the shield. Hate and Innodem work really well for this.
This makes Shock trooper redundant, and you can instead subsume over his first ability. You can then use his 4 for CC / shield regen with capacitance
Good point I don't know if it will really work on real game play
while true, that is a little too inconsistent to rely on entirely and you don't need to waste time using his 4th when it's unneeded
The okina doesn’t pick up the shield benefits.

For anyone who didn't know. You can do just about the same on any other weapon's platform frame. Also, it's mostly Melee Influence shenanigans anyways. That arcane carrying most you do.
Hell yeah dude. I have a been using a very similar volt build for about a year now, but i use the melee hirudo instead, with very high range, attack speed, and shattering impact. You can punch like 10 times a second with the speed boost. It fully heals you with every punch if you hit hard enough which is easy to do, and armor strips in seconds. This build melts archons.
This build you posted is amazing and one of my favorites.
Yeah, I absolutely *adore* the Hirudo - use them any time I want to do lengthy content and just need to not die. That free lifesteal is absolutely disgusting.
@kitsunekage12 I'm super hopeful it will get an incarnon or a lich version when infested lich drop. Not that it needs a buff, I'm just selfish cause I love the weapon.

Damn, I had been conceptualizing this build since I saw the daggers in action, but couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working as well as I knew it could. But looks like you beat me to it this time.
I've been using this build for a year or so and it's probably my most fun Volt build lol I love being able to use literally any weapon and destroying everything
This took a little bit of investment but I'm so glad I did your build, much more fun than my previous volt nuke build. Thank you so much for this video.

OK I am back, took me longer than I wanted as I needed to get some forma... This build is amazing for people who really like melee builds.... which makes sense since its a melee build.
Been using similar volt build for months and I can attest that this is freakin insane. Especially if you put 5 tauforged purple shards
I suggest you tried it on syam heavy attack spam. The speed at which you execute heavy attack is divine. Or even sampotes heavy slam is very nice on our thunder oni

What Incarnon upgrades are you using for the Okina?
Actually Projectiles do gain the buff from electric shield as long as the MAIN projectile passes through the shield, AoE attacks where the main projectiles aren’t present then the AoE doesn’t get the bonus Exodia Contagion works because when you double jump or bullet jump the zaw becomes a projectile based melee attack, the projectile can do AoE but the main projectile is present with the AoE I hit a -2.147B electric proc yesterday and that confirmed to me that it works
Just today I built volt for some guaranteed rakta dagger shields to be able to survive steel path. But this is insane damage!
you shouldnt need it with the shield regen / delay mods

i remember one time i made a build using melee influence on volt and his first ability augment and when i shared it with people they laughed at me and judged me cause it wasnt the typical volt 4 nuke build

I've been running a similar build but on nova! I have a riven with a lot of electric, so the electric procs spreas the blast and heat from neutron stats as well as having that nice damage vulnerability from m prime.
My okina build is a mix of status and crit and uses a riven, but i will definitely give this a try
So glaring issue with this build is that the daggers don’t do cold when you have shock trooper active. you can still use ice storm but you’d need a outside source to proc cold ie a sentinel unless the daggers freeze anyway even though they do magnetic. This may be changed in the near future as Pablo recently tweeted about a possible change to shock trooper and other augments similar and asked if the extra damage types should combine with modded damage types or not.

I usually run torid with vital from nourish corrosive from shock trooper and blast from mods
Adding capacitance and electric shield makes you very hard to kill

If those daggers have a main projectile attached to the AoE cold then you might actually be getting the 50% electric and 100% crit multi (it’s in the wiki for electric shield)
From what Ive seen in the spanish speaking community, CO does work with the phantom daggers.

@@kyaii The wiki isnt always right, the spanish speaking community tests a lot of their set ups and do the math at the instance. Similarly to CO, things like Arachne and Vigorous swap will provide a damage increase.
@@ParagonGoetia then someone is doing something wrong because no matter what I do in terms of priming or modding around CO, it does not apply damage to the ice daggers
@@doughnutt4978 I just checked myself, direct damage does get affected by CO on the daggers. Its not a high increase like that of Vigorous or arachne but its still something.
@@kyaii The wiki also says that Tenacious Bond doesn't stack when using Venari+other companion, but it actually does. So niche stuff like that sometimes gets overlooked (or it could just be a bug).
lvoe the builds and videos but would you consider uploading the complete builds to like warframe build planner websites or include timestamps?
I think using blood rush and removing wrathful advance in favor of Roar will overall yield more damage, I would probably use Viral instead of Blast too.

Every time o see a new volt build I think will this be the one. It never is, I’m still waiting for someone to make a support volt. I made one with capacitor shield and shock trooper. Put blood alter on his 4 for healing.

Time to rebuild Volt i guess :) However i would like too see more Warframe builds that can be independent from any other gear since we have missions like Elite Archimedea or Circuit where sometimes it forces you to have a warframe without your favorite weapon or weapon that will benefit specific warframe build
this works with any melee that has influence, okina is just new and strong

kyaii be cookin i recently put wrathful on gara and i go *RED BOOMS*
My volt is also wrathful advance but I use an Exodia Contagion with CO and I prime with Kompressa (single target) and Epi prime (while leveling weapons or general WF stuff but it’s does BIG Damage
Personally I prefer switching Primed Reach with Galvanised Reflex. Yes, having more range is good, but the extra hits on more enemies fall off because of Follow Through (especially after already adding the Orokin Reach evolution)
More importantly, Reflex allows for an INCREDIBLY easy recast of any melee incarnon. Any incarnon with a 5x combo requirement will get it easily after 4 melee kills to max out Galv Reflex, while the ones with x6 combo requirement just need an extra 20 hits.

Thinking of:
A) Rolling -> Flow + 5 melee Violet + Aegis
B) -> 5 str/dur Crimson
C) -> 5 melee Crimson
You can drop Primed Continuity to get flow for violets
Fun thing is, Nami Solo is still two orders of magnitide stronger than any other weapon in the game with Volt.
But this looks and feels way cooler😎

Volt is my favorite frame after revenant and after his new skin I'm searshing for a build that I can take to lvl cap without being macro managing so many things

@@Yuossf-yaseser In my opinion at least , it might be difficult to run this to levelcap because it relies on shield recharge/recharge delay, so your shields might get overwhelmed. If you kill quickly enough it might be possible, but uncomfortable
9:08 I would recommend using a glaxion with the photon overcharge and shivering contagion mods on it, letting you full freeze enemies more efficiently and giving better energy management.
It already happens passively and energy is already a non issue.
What about shards ?
Man, I really need a second copy of Volt Prime for general gameplay cuz the only one I got now has 2 Umbra forma on it and is solely optimized for Tridelon hunts. Really looks like I'm missing out

You'll have more crit chance AND more faction damage if you replace the Smite mod with Blood Rush and replace Wrathful Advance with Roar. Also, Roar is a universal faction damage bonus meaning it can boost your damage against targets such as Thrax and Acolytes (while smite mods cannot) and Roar also buffs the whole team unlike Wrathful Advance.
But wouldn't it do less damage since the crit multiplier would be slightly lower?
@@gxbrxxl5216 where would you be losing crit multiplier? neither smite mods, nor wrathful advance, add crit multiplier.
smite mods add faction damage and wrathful advance adds crit chance.
i'm saying it's more efficient to source your crit chance from the mod slot and the faction damage from the subsume, instead of the way he's done it (the other way around).

@@naponthammatacharee5834 Higher crit tiers apply your critical multiplier more times, yes. But, Blood rush would give even more crit chance than Wrathful Advance (400% vs. 254%).
So you'd get MORE final critical multiplier, not less, with Blood Rush + Roar, instead of Wrathful Advance + Smite mods. On top of, again, higher faction damage too.
While red crits will be really good for singel target kills .

Volt is so versatile that you are basically required to have 2
usually if i need to get exterminate mission done fast, I use my Volt Prime and Dual Ichor Incarnon.... so fast and so much red crits
Any thought to using organ shatter over reach? Obviously the range is good and the okina has great follow through, but adding organ shatter increases the t4 crit damage by 47%.
You could though I like higher range. You already one shot everything so hitting more enemies is realistically the only way to kill faster.
Great build have a similar one but with dual ichor incarnon but I have a god roll riven so this is definitely better minus the riven
Wait this is exactly what i was searching for, ive been a mêlee fanatic for soooo long but i couldnt find a build wich could get lots of kills rather quickly. The only problem is that fact that imma have to grind kullervo....

Plan on using this with arcane strike and on lavos with valence formation.
I was half expecting to see a Volt w/ Sand Kavats build. but either way nice. I will also say that Ice Storm, particularly in team play, isn't great. Any other thing that inflicts Cold, be it teammates, pets, sentinels, etc. negatively impact Arcane Ice Storm gains. Believe this is also posted in forums as a bug but devs said its working as intended... so guess another thing that promotes Solo play.
What's the likelihood of this getting nerfed? I'm not one to play melee, so this build will take a lot of time for me to acquire. It looks cool so I'm interested:D

i just did this build. bro was not wrong. volt is killing faster than they can spawn. i spend more time running to enemies than killing them. the just disintegrate before i even turn around half the time lol. what archon shards would you recomend though?

I a similar build instead of wrathful I run Nourish/Energy Nexus/Primed Flow for maximum up time on speed. Oh and where’s Sevegoth 😐😄

I have no clue how Melee Influence works, but do crits work well with it? Is it alright if I subsume Roar instead?
What would be better to top it up with Arckon shards? my first thot was the pirple shards crit damage, but they MAY be better ways...

The gyre in question:
you use volt, was easier to influent, but got lower than mine. Just dont use 2 60 60 mode, use crit build( blood rush, crit dam) because influent spread dam base of that crit too,. I use usual influent build without any buff of wf, without any shard and still got tick dam 700k on grinner heavy SP lv 200. Which is over dam alot. There is no strong target to test it in simulacrum except boss type( got dam reduce alot)

Question: you said that volt’s shield doesnt do anything here for Okina. However, the daggers that Okina sends out do go through the shield. Do they benefit from the shield buffs in them doing so?

Try melee platform volt with roar sub on 4 and nami solo (melee influence), you can get MUCH better results than this

Volts shield buffs almost *any* form of projectile with crit damage and electricity dmg. Is this buff aldo applied to the okina daggers?
