I love ANA. Flew same flight twice last year. Great service and so clean. Made the long flight so much better. Flew United once on the same route and it made me really appreciate ANA.
@@GinnyRue Compared to ANA it’s a huge downgrade. Flight attendants on ANA are so customer service oriented and very polite. They constantly clean the restrooms. I’ve flown to Asia numerous times and it’s a long flight so the restrooms can get a lot of use. United they never cleaned them even once. They were filthy by the later stages of the flight. There’s just a complete attitude difference with the flight attendants on United. I don’t think it helps that they’re much older than the ones on ANA. Japanese culture is so good with customer service compared to America. I’ve flown to Asia numerous times with different Asian airlines and ANA was the best so far.
Brings back memories from six months ago! 😆 I flew the same route but took the 5pm flight. I got two full dinner meals. Didn’t get to see much when I landed besides lights, since it was 9pm in Tokyo. I can't wait to do it again in 2024. Love these kinds of videos because they help you experience the same feeling again! My trip was perfect!

I prefer day time flights just so I can watch the world go by. Then again, if you arrive early in the morning, you have the whole day to explore your destination - assuming you’re not exhausted from the flight that is.
I'm flying from Los Angeles to Bangkok in August (2024) and I'm debating which airline to use. I'm leaning towards Korean Airlines because they fly the A380 but I'm wondering how the 787 compares to it. Have you ever flown on the A 380 before?

The space between the seats look really big in your video and i wonder if it is enough for me or if i should reserve a front row seat. Since i'm 1,90cm (~6'3) i need quite a lot of space for a comfortable 12hr flight :D
No problem! I’m thinking of flying ANA again this year. I’m around 5’ 8” so the legroom in Economy was more than enough for me. If you’re flying long-haul, I highly suggest paying for that extra legroom nonetheless. The comfort is always worth it!

I’d say the seat recline was standard. However, given the larger pitch, it certainly wasn’t as uncomfortable and intrusive as it is on Western carriers when the passenger in front of me reclined.
That’s correct. There were some snacks on demand but the meal service generally makes sense given that it was a red-eye flight leaving in the early morning and arriving in the early morning the next day. The meal service on the daytime departures may be different, and ANA actually allows you to check the meal service menus by inputting the route/flight number on their website.

@@twoweeledsoto6072 all day (19 hour) and no issue with checked bag in Saigon. Same for return home.

I’ve flown on the A380 once with Qantas but that was more than a decade ago. I do prefer the 787 generally though!
