I mean i agree with you on those endings being cool but in those same endings we can be seen as: Pawns of the Primordial Serpents Pawns of the Scholar of the First Sin Pawns of the Church of Hollows Pawns of the Flame of Frenzy ... However, a Hunter does join the ranks of the Great Old Ones and THAT is enough for me to believe!
Well in lord of hollows you are lord of something at least. But being lord of frenzied flame is trash. You are lord of nothing. The world is burned. Also you are kinda possesed by the frenzied flame so its your body but not really you. I like the "Dark lord" endings but not in Elden Ring. I prefer Ranni's or Goldmask's by far

What I loved is that vyke of the roundtable followed the same path as we. Going down to collect the blessing of the 3 fingers to save his maiden. Yet in the end, he failed

Funny thing is that I did this ending by accident but didn't really feel all too bad by the end of it. Meh maiden is still alive but just takin a "break", got some cool bone deep tattoos and a badass cut scene with the crucible knight set. All n all, good first playthrough. 10/10 would burn again

Problem is that Melina isn't even that poignant for the player. She appears at the beginning, at the churches, she helps you fight Morgott and then burns and fucks off.Meh, at least her lore is incredible, but as a companion she very shallow

Y'know, in the Dark Souls games, we could choose to rekindle the world or let it go dark. Either way, there'd still be life. In Bloodborne, we could free ourselves of the dream, become trapped, or become something greater. Only in Elden Ring can we choose to just destroy the entire world, killing everyone and preventing any future life. Kinda wild.

Ashina became the setting for the most tragic massacre of the Sengoku era. And for a long time after, it was said a demon lurked the land... So no, Wolf doesn't kill the entire world. He wipes out almost all of Ashina. But Sekiro is set in a slightly more mystical version of actual Japan on actual Earth, not a fictional world like Dark Souls or Elden Ring. He killed thousands, not millions or billions lol. Dark Souls's Dark Lord ending? We don't link the fire, but it's still there for someone else to. Dark Souls 3's Endings all involve either linking the fire, taking the power for ourselves, or letting it finally die out. No matter what, the world goes on. Frenzied Flame ending? We melt the world and all living things. Distinctly different.
If you want a badass ending and want to make all the things that make you suffer in Elden Ring burn, Lord of Frenzied Flame is the best ending. We actually give The Lands Between a hard reset.
I don't think there's any reset. Shabriri describes chaos as destroying everything that 'divides and distinguishes.' Shabriri is untrustworthy on any matter EXCEPT the frenzied flame. To destroy difference within a whole, you must destroy the whole itself. You don't reset the world, you destroy it entirely.

For me, Lord of Frenzied flame is the "true ending" for elden ring. We burn everything back into a primordial soup, to create dark souls. I think this game comes before dark souls and the "age of fire" is the outcome of us achieving the Frenzied Flame Ending. It's also the only ending with a second, secret cutscene after the first one is done iirc.
i love the idea some people chose this ending to "save" the world and give it a chance to become something a little better...... only for them to cause the miserable hell of Dark Souls instead it's such delicious irony

The only three endings that actually solve anything (in order from least effective to most) are Age of Order (because it perfects the Golden Order), Age of Duskborn (because it reinstates death, which was taken from the Elden Ring, leading to the entire mess before the game), and Lord of Frenzied Flame (because it wipes everything and everyone out, making a clean slate, a chance to start over without mistakes).
I don't think there's any starting over with the flame ending, you judge life to be not worth the suffering and burn it out. Imagine you have a plant, but you have come to dislike plants. So you kill the plant and burn it in a pit. You cannot resculpt the resulting ashes into a new plant. There may be other plants and perhaps you may have the means to visit them but, as previously mentioned, you have come to dislike plants, so you would burn these as well.

Honestly this is probably my favorite ending and is probably the Canon ending. Letting the world burn so that it can be reborn. I actually saw a very fun theory going around where this ending where you burn the world actually creates the dark souls universe. After you get the frenzy flame ending the world resets eventually the events of dark souls 1 occurs where gwyn and the rest find the first flame which is a remnant of the frenzied flame. Another one is that maybe the age of starts ending is what leads to bloodborne. This one really has no basis at all other than bloodborne having heavy ties with the Moon
The problem with that is that the flame of frenzy isn't "rebirthing" or "reseting" anything. Melina and the frenzied flame followers make it very clear that if you walk down this path you are going to destroy everything. No life will ever escape from the flame of frenzy because the concept of life itself is in complete opposition to what it desires and once it's in control of the world it's never going to let go. This is not a reset, this is an end.
Something strange tho is that in Dark Souls, the first species to exist was the Immortal Dragons, which was said that they were never born nor will ever die naturally. They just exist, and Frenzied Flame wipes out EVERYTHING. The only thing that might have happened is that some Outer God of Dragons came to the Lands Between and just decided: "Yea! Here is good!".

I have fallen more times than anyone would even be able to count. yet I endured through it all. I pushed! fought! broke and fell but I just got back up again! yet now... I feel nothing but anger. the feeling of righteousness I carried from the moment I stepped foot into limgrave has dissipated. and so... i have made my decision may chaos take these wretched lands. may everything burn down to ashes like my beloved maiden. may everyone fall into insanity like Blaidd! these flames will spread until they have consumed all there is to consume! Best ending story wise. I truly hope that they release a dlc that furthers the story with it. Melina vows to hunt you down. It would be perfect for an extended story. I hope that we get to explore a burned world with some new bosses, melina being the final one.

Personally, I think that the frenzied flame ending is the most selfish one. It, for me, is the equivalent of un aliving yourself but taking everyone around you first. Who are you to end that beautiful world, to decide that all should burn? Without taking into account any feelings of the inhabitants of the lands between? Lord of Frenzied Flame? I made an oopsies offering Melina to the fire forge because I really aimlessly doing tasks in my first run. Never really knowing the significance of the three fingers down below leyndell. You'd still be allowed to carry on the will of the frenzied flame, even if you still offered up your maiden.

I'm a massive fan of "good" karma type of ending... But this one? You can't even consider this as evil as the NPC's like Melina said... My first playthrough made me think twice if I should do the Golden Order ending or Ranni's ending but seeing how low and despicable the Lands Between become especially at the Post-Game? I was TEMPTED to return to the 3 Fingers under the Capital to end this damnable world but in the end I did Ranni's ending instead...

We saw the fair maiden turn to ash in the first time. It scarred us into seeking a path to save her. Though we hadn't known her long, or well, we still sought a way to save her from her destined death. Then the three fingers answered the call, but the maiden herself warned not to take the descent into madness for she would hunt us for doing so. But, what we heard was a promise, a conformation that she would live and thus her warning fell on deaf ears. Then we saw what she meant. The decay of our body, the lack of empathy even for Torrent who had been nothing but a boon, the twisted sky and lands infected worse than what even calid had become. It was that moment we learned what it means to inflict onto another a fate worse than death. But, by that point it was to late to turn back.

I don't remember which character said it but I remember someone saying fter the world had burned to chaos it would heal, and the two and 3 fingers would join together again. The fingers were part of a whole at some point so I wonder if you let chaos take the world, after it has consumed everything the world would begin anew and slowly heal. Like what people think would happen if we let the flame die out and start an age of dark in dark souls. Is it better for the world to burn for it to heal. I could be rambling madness though so I you can correct me that would be nice
Have to say, I watch this video continuously every week. It’s a damn masterpiece, makes one appreciate and love the lore of this game so much. Im currently back on bloodborne and Sekiro. But this video reminds me of how much I loved experiencing Elden ring. Plus, you used one of my favorite scores ever. The ending of this video was just edited to a perfection. This is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, if not the most beautiful game. I've never been so immersed in such a wonderful world as I was in this game. It's a great game, it's a game I can play more than once without getting bored.

The Flame of Love born from spark becomes a raging fire that is eternal and undying. Left unchecked. Left uncontained. That love will engulf the world in order to replace the dismal realm before it. All for a Passionate Flame. None can reciprocate.

Well in lord of hollows you are lord of something at least. But being lord of frenzied flame is trash. You are lord of nothing. The world is burned. Also you are kinda possesed by the frenzied flame so its your body but not really you. I like the "Dark lord" endings but not in Elden Ring.

Funny thing is that I did this ending by accident but didn't really feel all too bad by the end of it. Meh maiden is still alive but just takin a "break", got some cool bone deep tattoos and a badass cut scene with the crucible knight set. All n all, good first playthrough. 10/10 would burn again

Y'know, in the Dark Souls games, we could choose to rekindle the world or let it go dark. Either way, there'd still be life. In Bloodborne, we could free ourselves of the dream, become trapped, or become something greater. Only in Elden Ring can we choose to just destroy the entire world, killing everyone and preventing any future life. Kinda wild.

So no, Wolf doesn't kill the entire world. He wipes out almost all of Ashina. But Sekiro is set in a slightly more mystical version of actual Japan on actual Earth, not a fictional world like Dark Souls or Elden Ring. He killed thousands, not millions or billions lol.
Dark Souls's Dark Lord ending? We don't link the fire, but it's still there for someone else to.
Dark Souls 3's Endings all involve either linking the fire, taking the power for ourselves, or letting it finally die out. No matter what, the world goes on.
Frenzied Flame ending? We melt the world and all living things. Distinctly different.
If you want a badass ending and want to make all the things that make you suffer in Elden Ring burn, Lord of Frenzied Flame is the best ending. We actually give The Lands Between a hard reset.

Shabriri is untrustworthy on any matter EXCEPT the frenzied flame.
To destroy difference within a whole, you must destroy the whole itself. You don't reset the world, you destroy it entirely.

For me, Lord of Frenzied flame is the "true ending" for elden ring. We burn everything back into a primordial soup, to create dark souls. I think this game comes before dark souls and the "age of fire" is the outcome of us achieving the Frenzied Flame Ending. It's also the only ending with a second, secret cutscene after the first one is done iirc.
i love the idea some people chose this ending to "save" the world and give it a chance to become something a little better...... only for them to cause the miserable hell of Dark Souls instead

The only three endings that actually solve anything (in order from least effective to most) are Age of Order (because it perfects the Golden Order), Age of Duskborn (because it reinstates death, which was taken from the Elden Ring, leading to the entire mess before the game), and Lord of Frenzied Flame (because it wipes everything and everyone out, making a clean slate, a chance to start over without mistakes).
I don't think there's any starting over with the flame ending, you judge life to be not worth the suffering and burn it out.
Imagine you have a plant, but you have come to dislike plants. So you kill the plant and burn it in a pit. You cannot resculpt the resulting ashes into a new plant. There may be other plants and perhaps you may have the means to visit them but, as previously mentioned, you have come to dislike plants, so you would burn these as well.
Age of Duskborn solves nothing it just gives the dead human rights and its heavily implied that when you burned the world there will be no new one.
Nah only 2, Age of Stars where we abandon Golden Order for Ranni's new order

Honestly this is probably my favorite ending and is probably the Canon ending.
Letting the world burn so that it can be reborn.
I actually saw a very fun theory going around where this ending where you burn the world actually creates the dark souls universe.
After you get the frenzy flame ending the world resets eventually the events of dark souls 1 occurs where gwyn and the rest find the first flame which is a remnant of the frenzied flame.
Another one is that maybe the age of starts ending is what leads to bloodborne.
This one really has no basis at all other than bloodborne having heavy ties with the Moon
The problem with that is that the flame of frenzy isn't "rebirthing" or "reseting" anything. Melina and the frenzied flame followers make it very clear that if you walk down this path you are going to destroy everything. No life will ever escape from the flame of frenzy because the concept of life itself is in complete opposition to what it desires and once it's in control of the world it's never going to let go.
This is not a reset, this is an end.
Something strange tho is that in Dark Souls, the first species to exist was the Immortal Dragons, which was said that they were never born nor will ever die naturally. They just exist, and Frenzied Flame wipes out EVERYTHING. The only thing that might have happened is that some Outer God of Dragons came to the Lands Between and just decided: "Yea! Here is good!".

Hewg; truly one of the greatest blacksmiths i have ever come across, lost himself to Amnesia.
Iji; Ranni's beloved war councillor, murdered by cowards in cold blood.
Blaidd, and Alexander. two of the greatest warriors i have ever come across, felled by my own hand.
no... this quest has robbed me of everything and everyone i hold dear and yet I am still to expect i will get my happy ending? am i still to believe that after all of... this... everything will just.. 'be okay'?
I won't have that... I won't... I have endured enough. I have waited enough.
I have preformed favours for those in need all across the lands between yet I have never even asked for so much as a 'thank you'.
I have fallen more times than anyone would even be able to count. yet I endured through it all. I pushed! fought! broke and fell but I just got back up again!
yet now... I feel nothing but anger. the feeling of righteousness I carried from the moment I stepped foot into limgrave has dissipated. and so... i have made my decision
may chaos take these wretched lands. may everything burn down to ashes like my beloved maiden. may everyone fall into insanity like Blaidd! these flames will spread until they have consumed all there is to consume! I have tolerated this shattered dream, this... poor excuse for a world for long enough!!

Voicelines fits perfect with footages. Some transition and visual effects would make it perfect. But even without em' it looks great.

Best ending story wise. I truly hope that they release a dlc that furthers the story with it. Melina vows to hunt you down. It would be perfect for an extended story. I hope that we get to explore a burned world with some new bosses, melina being the final one.
The tarnished one stood before the throne of the Eternal Queen, holding the shards of the Elden Ring in his hands. He had slain all the Demigods, her corrupted children, and claimed their power. He had also killed Melina, his maiden, who had been resurrected by Godwyn as a twisted puppet. He had nothing left to lose, nothing left to love. He only wanted to end this world of madness.
Marika looked at him with sadness and pity in her eyes. She was the only one who remained uncorrupted by the shattering of the Elden Ring. She had tried to preserve the Golden Order, the harmony and balance of the Lands Between, but her efforts were in vain. Her children had turned against her, and against each other. The Tarnished had returned, driven by the Flame of Ambition. The world was falling apart, and she could not stop it.
"Welcome, Tarnished one," she said in a gentle voice. "You have come far, and overcome many trials. You have proven yourself worthy of the grace of the Erdtree. You have fulfilled your ambition."
The tarnished one did not reply. He did not care for her words. He did not care for her grace. He only cared for the Elden Ring, and the power it would grant him.
"Tell me, Tarnished one," Marika continued. "What do you seek? What do you desire? What do you hope to achieve by becoming the Elden Lord?"
The tarnished one looked at her with contempt and hatred in his eyes. He hated her for banishing him from the Lands Between. He hated her for creating this world of rot and filth. He hated her for allowing all the pain and loss he had suffered.
"I seek nothing," he said in a cold voice. "I desire nothing. I hope for nothing. This world is beyond saving, beyond redemption. It is a cesspit of obscenity and madness, because of your pride and folly. You created the Elden Ring, and you broke it. You unleashed chaos and corruption upon the Lands Between. You are the cause of all this misery."
He raised his hand, holding the shards of the Elden Ring.
"I will not become the Elden Lord," he said. "I will not restore the Golden Order. I will not follow your will. I will do what you failed to do. I will end this world. I will burn everything down that divides, distinguishes... and allowed for this cesspit to ever form."
He clenched his fist, and the shards of the Elden Ring glowed with a blinding light.
"May chaos take the world," he said.
Marika closed her eyes, and sighed.
"Then so be it," she said.
She opened her eyes, and smiled.
"But know this, Tarnished one," she said. "You are not alone in your despair. You are not alone in your hatred. You are not alone in your ambition."
She raised her hand, holding a ring of light.
"You are not alone in your power."
She snapped her fingers, and the ring of light exploded with a deafening sound.
"May grace take you," she said.

Personally, I think that the frenzied flame ending is the most selfish one. It, for me, is the equivalent of un aliving yourself but taking everyone around you first. Who are you to end that beautiful world, to decide that all should burn? Without taking into account any feelings of the inhabitants of the lands between? Lord of Frenzied Flame? What is a lord without any subjects?

Frenzied flame can be looked at as the most tragic ending from a certain point of view. You save Melina but burn the world in the process and turn her against you
I made an oopsies offering Melina to the fire forge because I really aimlessly doing tasks in my first run. Never really knowing the significance of the three fingers down below leyndell. You'd still be allowed to carry on the will of the frenzied flame, even if you still offered up your maiden.

I'm a massive fan of "good" karma type of ending... But this one? You can't even consider this as evil as the NPC's like Melina said... My first playthrough made me think twice if I should do the Golden Order ending or Ranni's ending but seeing how low and despicable the Lands Between become especially at the Post-Game? I was TEMPTED to return to the 3 Fingers under the Capital to end this damnable world but in the end I did Ranni's ending instead...

We saw the fair maiden turn to ash in the first time. It scarred us into seeking a path to save her. Though we hadn't known her long, or well, we still sought a way to save her from her destined death. Then the three fingers answered the call, but the maiden herself warned not to take the descent into madness for she would hunt us for doing so. But, what we heard was a promise, a conformation that she would live and thus her warning fell on deaf ears.
Then we saw what she meant. The decay of our body, the lack of empathy even for Torrent who had been nothing but a boon, the twisted sky and lands infected worse than what even calid had become. It was that moment we learned what it means to inflict onto another a fate worse than death. But, by that point it was to late to turn back.

I don't remember which character said it but I remember someone saying fter the world had burned to chaos it would heal, and the two and 3 fingers would join together again.
The fingers were part of a whole at some point so I wonder if you let chaos take the world, after it has consumed everything the world would begin anew and slowly heal.
Like what people think would happen if we let the flame die out and start an age of dark in dark souls.
Is it better for the world to burn for it to heal.

I think you're almost right, because there was a cut ending that was called the 5 finger ending or something, so maybe before you could reunite them
