If I win a lottery, I'd be taking that R34 GT-T and look for the Impul 534S kit or the original Nismo kit. That Skyline S logo seals the deal. Alternatively, a Tommykaira 25R if I don't want to spend time looking for a bodykit.

Would love to hear from Doston how the Japanese sellers feel about most of these cars leaving Japan. It's the end of an era for many Japanese losing their JDM unicorns that defined multiple generations of car enthusiasts. I understand they have had these for 25+ years, but many including the BNR34's have been so unique to Japan, it must be difficult to lose these.
Regardless, I love the videos, love the JDM's shown.

I prefer one of the colors over the other, and people cream themselves over MNP, so not only do I objectively prefer MJ over MNP but it'd probably be easier to get if I did have the flow to buy one at all.

Thanks so much for filming this Sam, so many of us dream about these cars and will never have one. But these videos still bring so much happiness to us and for me personally it inspires me to treat the cars I can afford with the same level of respect.

I'm sure he didn't go down there without a reason or to discuss future business, But yes I think he's shopping & getting approved at the same time.. At the auction they stopped bidding at 140k on that m-spec and it sells for $200k an up so Garage defend has a big markup on these car's.

Doston's question was rather interesting. My take, is that the price is very justified. These cars represent so much more than just a vehicle to go from A-Z every day. It's their history, heritage, symbolism & smiles per gallon, that they become sought after & to take those away, gives you nothing at all. What they represent, is why they cost what they do. Impreza GC8s, Evolutions, RX7s, Celica GT-Fours & so many iconic Japanese cars of the 90's are so special, that to me, they are right to cost what they cost now.

Its thanks to business practices such as this and many others who are ruining the price of these vehicles.
Glad I had my fun in my youth days with S and R chassies when they were at normal prices.
Trust Kikaku are even worse, buying stock before it even hits the market just to hoard them and push up the prices.

Glad in Europe we don't have that 25 year old import rule, lots of skylines where imported in the Netherlands just over a decade ago when they still where affordable.
For about 20 to 30.000 euro you would have a really nice R33 GT-R V-spec.

I used to watch videos of a used car dealerships with really nice build cars like Sylvia's, skylines etc back in 2009 to maybe 2012 or 13 in videos I remember so clearly that in the videos there was a overpass bridge and there was like a farm fields nearby and the guy used to taste test drive this cars. I swear this looks so just like place in this video

I hate it that almost every JDM car price is going through the roof. The core of JDM cars was that they are half the price of supercars and perform like them. Its just sad now. I am happy my father imported one silvia s15 spec r back at 2007 and it was actualy the firs s15 in our country and i belive in Balkan Peninsula. Back at the day there were GTR R34 fully modet buy HKS for 40/60k US dollars.

By the way Adam LZ’s r34 gtr is midnight purple 3. Actually his car isn’t import legal under show & Display. For it to be import legal in USA under show & display it must be 1999 r34 gtr in midnight purple 2 and has to be a V-Spec.
You'll get there one day for sure. You made a point though about the nerves driving such an expensive car. I felt like that even with my r32 GTR which was worth significantly less, the cost of parts and the value of that car sometimes made it difficult to own tbh, the car was consequently never driven anywhere near as hard as it wanted to be. As much as I love GTR's I think I am more comfortable in a cheaper car now or at least something more simplistic and affordable to work on. I think folk who have £100k plus to spend on a car might not worry about these things but I did.
Do you have more photos of the two midnight purples side by side in the sun? I would like to see them. I have a R33 Sedan and will be doing a paint job after the body kit conversion and need to figure which color to pick!!!!

There is no vspec 2 nur in midnight purple 2 aka LV4. Nissan never made them in that color in 2002. As the owner of garage defend said in video when talking about production numbers while showing the millennium jade car. Seems someone has swapped badges on that midnight purple 2 car. However the mines parts are awesome! Regardless the owner is very fortunate.
U can still find all the info about the rb26 fine spec final edition on the NISMO homepage, they where 1 315 000 yen new

@@joshc9846 oh yes the v10 m5s are heaven to listen to, I think I like the f-type v8 got to drive one for a little and it would just crackle and pop just cruising in sport or the amg v8 cuz they remind me of like a big cat purring how about yourself?
@@DessertUnicorn I give my respect to Jaguar for their F type lineup. The noise that comes from those cars is intoxicating, especially on the downshifts. For me personally the car that does it is the 991.2 GT3RS.
