I have a 94 5 speed that is immaculate. It's all original. Not a spec of rust. It has 200 thousand miles, but you wouldn't know it. I just went through the entire thing replacing gaskets, hoses, seals, bearings, etc. It's amazing that the engine is like new too. Has almost full compression. Its had Rotella 10w 30 in it the entire time. The only flaw is the faded paint. I'm saving so I can get y'all to do it!👍

horriblle. the seats are not matching the rare two tone interior of that xj. why ruin art just because your hated and think you got something better. saggy pants wearing side ways hat wearing type people who like seeing that sort of ugly.
@@David-rj1ru I agree. I have the same tan interior in my 97 XJ Sport, and the seat color choice on this build didn't do it for me, would have reconditioned the stock seats or at minimum kept the same tan \ sand color as close as possible to the original.

@@connormclees9787 it was one of the two tone interior models. They added an extra tone. Doesn't look good. It looks fresh for sure. Not particularly good though.

I would love nothing more than to take my 92 in man. Damn. Just for the bodywork and paint even.
One detail of the interior restoration was the seat belts, to me I would have installed black instead of the gray ones.
That’s what I was thinking too. They went through the trouble of replacing the entire interior but left the ugly seat belts.

This company is one of the reasons why XJ price went north
Now cut the fenders and do a cut and fold on the rear corner tubs. Put on some decent bumpers. Wj LCAs, jk rubicon shocks, Dakota leaf Spring bastard pack, extended brake lines & bump stops some BDS front springs, 4 port fuel injectors and on and on and on and on and on.
This XJ will never see a mudhole, just a garage queen.

When a car gets stripped down all the way like this XJ, where do y’all keep all the thousands of spare pieces, nuts, bolts, tiny plastic screws, wiring harnesses, etc? Seems IMPOSSIBLE to keep organized so it can be reassembled...

@@terrellgaines88 I try to envision what the mess looks like because I’ve just never taken on a TOTAL BARE BONES STRIP to this level like DAS does so I can’t imagine keeping everything accounted for. Not even sure what they charge but I’m really tryi Nd to get a Stage 2 restoration on my XJ from them - no stone left unturned
I've got an 89 that came out of the California desert. It's got like a bagillion parts I'll never get it 100% restored. O'well life is long till you own a jeep

Can I take you guys my 2001 Jeep Cherokee…😢 I bought it in 2022 and had the engine and transmission fully rebuilt…and it’s been a nightmare with this vehicle…the job was a hack job…
Fantastic work. Not gonna lie though. I'm not feeling the color choice on the seats. It may be my monitor, but they seem a bit too red. Overall, I'm gonna score it a 9.999 out of 10. Once I sell a kidney and hit a good scratch off ticket, you guys can do my 99 XJ Sport and I won't complain about anything.👍🍺
Beautiful stuff fellas! If only i had the money saved to get my 97 XJ done. Quick question. Looks like you have a stock rear bumper on it. Did you also install the rear bumper shield? I was rear ended, got the repairs done, bought a bumper, and bought a couple of sheild ls......non of them work. Is a bumper shield necessary and if so where can i get one? Thanks! I will continue to follow.
Please take my one of my xjs and do the same. I have a 99 2dr with 87k miles and an 01 with 86k miles. I want my daughter to drive one in college. She's 3. We have time. I want her to drive the 01 cuz I bought it for my sister while she was in college. She barely drove it and I got it back. Restore mine. At least get me a price on something like that

So looking on the website, it says that stage 1 starts at $15,000. Is that what you sell an XJ stage 1 that you have in inventory? Or is that to have an XJ that customers bring you to restore to a stage 1 restoration? Do you have any videos explaining how your pricing works?

I just bought my 3rd XJ. The first two I had got away from me.. but that will not happen again, lol. This video is amazing, the attention to detail is on another level. Ironically, the jeep I just bought is a 97 and has this exact same interior! I can't wait to start working on it! If I ever hit the lotto, I'll be calling you guys!

I am engine swapping an 85 2 door Cherokee with the 4L. We are almost done, unfortunately, something got messed up with the the clutch and we have to drop the transmission. Anyway, the car is being put together from several different Jeeps, so the body work is non-existent to say the least. I would like to repaint it cause it’s lookin like a bag of skittles with all of it’s different colors. I’m also on a tightish budget. Any advice?
Join the club. Mine is 6 colors at the moment if bondo and rust count 😂. I keep sayin I’ll do it right one of these days but it’s my huntin and fishin rig so I just say it’s camo.

I love my TJ,and I Ain't no Cheerleader, Hell basically stock with some minor mods,Ain't found a new or old Jeep anything that can out Climb me on the Trails out here yet!!
But I Would Love to find a Decent Priced XJ just to be able to pull a small offroad Teardrop without special mods,and the Fact that they make good Overlanders!

Restorations like this can run $35k-$65k according to Google, making it not only effectively a brand new XJ, but roughly priced accordingly. 🤷♂️ Worth it.
Nice ride but could use a chunky bumper and bullbar with a winch . Maybe some mesh on the headlamps.

I had a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 for 12 years just like this with that beautiful green color. Would love to have another just like it. Gray interior. Fog Lights. Would trade my 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude for one in pristine condition! AC and a modern CD stereo system on it would be great.
Davis autosports make the cleanest xjs in the world. Tbh you're better off buying a cherokee from them then a 2020 model
