    Hi Sheri, love your vids.
    Was wondering if you could do a vid on layering different candle sents. Would love to try it out 😊❤️

    Thanks for the vid! I’d like to know how wide your coconut bowl is, what size wick you used and the brand of both? Also did it burn right to the edge? Thanks! 😊

    Thank you Sheri. I'm just curious about why you combined the soy and the coconut waxes rather than just using coconut?

    I have a question for you and I hope to hear from you if you have time! I’m currently making beef Tallow Candles but I’m having a difficult time finding a cost effective way to add scent. I have used essential oil‘s but I have to use over 60 drops to even get a smell. I don’t want to use fragrance oils because they’re not natural. Would you recommend that I mix the tallow with another fat like coconut oil? Do you think these two would mix well or is there another one you would recommend?

    I'm trying this while also using mod podge as a sealant and it seems to work well for leaks that can occur. Any thoughts?

    Hi! Love the video! Just wondering, can you use any ready made coconut bowl? I have some which are made for eating cold things so I hope I don't crack the bowl when I pour my wax into it. Thanks!

    So 10 percent fragrance, 10 percent of what?? It would have been helpful to see how you did that. It looked like you didn't measure it, you dumped some oil in the cap and poured it in

    You're obviously not a professional candle maker. Your methods are not the best example for making candles.

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  2 роки тому +1

      Did the DIY in the title give that away ?

    • @Avengers-uw5vs
      @Avengers-uw5vs 2 роки тому

      @@sherivegasartist You didn't scaled your wax for proper measurements. You didn't melt the wax at the proper temperature, 185 F or 85 C which you didn't mention at all. You didn't mention the cooling temperature when pouring the wax into the container. There is no way that your methods will give you a candle consistent enough, with a good throw; Cold or hot.
      And I'm sorry for being direct.

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  2 роки тому

      @@Avengers-uw5vs I think you need to rewatch. This video is made to be simple for beginners and not made for Professional candlemakers. I do mention temperature a few times throughout the video and I also mentioned that if you use a different brand it will be different to mine. I measure my wax out that way because it works every time and makes it very simple to get the right measurements without having to do calculations and have scales. This is do it at home video.

    • @Avengers-uw5vs
      @Avengers-uw5vs 2 роки тому

      @@sherivegasartist I don't need to watch the video again. I've seen enough. DIY or NOT, your methods are wrong. You have to weigh-in your wax. It will give you the proper measurements needed to add your fragrance oil. It has a lot to do with your throw and longevity of your candle 🕯. cold or hot... And as I said to you in the beginning, you're not a professiona candle maker and that's okay. At least do it correctly. Some things in life has to be done correctly or it's just garbage.
