- Party Finder is notoriously bad in Hypixel Skyblock as people constantly throw runs, don't have the correct equipment or are just flat out toxic. As a result, this can be a major turn off for a lot of Skyblock players which oftentimes pushes them away from fun activities such as running dungeons. Because of this, I figured I'd put together this video to help guide people to become the strongest players they possibly can, because if you're able to solo everything without the help of other people, then you'll most definitely be able to work with other players.

Thanks to this guide I'll never have to meet the non in adaptive armor that fails blaze, dies 3 times, begs for a revive and then starts blaming everyone else again.

@@rineluo888 FR happens to me every time thats why i kinda just stopped tanking f6 but i tank the other floors, i just go bers with juju for f6 so someone else goes tank instead :p

As a person who had 3 profiles before I gained enough knowledge of this game to basically do everything super under geared. Best way to learn is just playing.
Thanks man. Today before watching this I tried to solo an f3 and I got to the boss room but I didn’t know how to do it. I’ll do research now and I can probably do an f4 solo too bc I actually know how to do that

as someone whos biggest management problem is currently hotbar management, support items are a gift from simon hypixel himself, the fire staff/wands, the healing items+grimore, and a decent orb makes a lot of the challenges in the game survivable, even when underleverled in raw gear
half of these cost more than said raw gear btw
nah when he started stating info about the dungeons and enderman slayer that was mad cold
My favorite support items are aote and rouge sword for movement, wand of atonement for healing, wither cloak sword for tanking a one sudden hit, frozen scythe for slowing minibosses down and bunching up crowds in dungeons, and a silent death because it's just fun to use.

@@krishnachoudhary376 you can't group enemies easily with ice wand. That would have to be paired with gyro wand, which I dont have and cant use

As a player who just like dungeons, I can comfirm early pfinder is a disaster.
From f5-f6 theres so much pain and sadness from teamate.
Such as cool juju nons who just got juju and have completly no skill, f6 necrolord tank which got 5 shotted from terras(castle of stone exist use it)
And scepture mage is a fragile unit even in necrolord. Sadge.
Learning f7 is also a pain to you and your teamates, too good I got som1 to help.
But still, it is enjoyable to play dungeon.
Also gyro's right click used to be able to let you immue to lava and storm's strike. Too bad is patched

Big tip if you don't just buy carries to use an item like juju and for example grind t3s yourself, you gain more skill and knowledge for future use
Actually playing the game to get the items you need teaches you a LOT with muscle memories, game mechanics and overall just the discipline required to 'get good' at something. Very valuable point here
@@ModernSoldier Its still a game which should make fun. i dont sit there for 20 hours and grind some useless stuff to have something in a virtual world. neither do i change my whole sleep rhythm to match it with some dudes from another continet so i can grind with these as deathstreeks does it.
I sure love grinding 50 thousand zealot kills for the final destination armor to do t3s and oops i accidentally made enough money to buy the carries in 3 seconds isnt that crazy
as an ironman player getting some of these support items (gyrokinetic wand and ice spray) is gonna be really tough, and hopefully in aatrox i can get overflux
however i can agree wand of atonement (i have restoration atm but it's still working me wonders) and florid are MUST HAVES for dungeons, slayers, kuudra or anything else. it's unreal how much healing they help with, and how it can be the difference between struggling with something and succeeding every time (this is what helped me be consistent at eman slayer)

another one of my tips is to take breaks from the game. the more you keep playing the more you'll tire yourself out and it becomes unhealthy and you'll experience motivation loss

practice is so important for mining if you have a good setup you will be able to make 20m/h+ even if you dont have 4m/4m powder
I feel obligated to mention the Sword of Bad Health; it's incredibly cheap for how helpful it is. Basically a free 100 strength, it's really great for slayers, especially if you're starting out on a certain slayer and have sacrificed some damage stats for tankiness.
my biggest weakness is skill issue, I just started not using the scroll wheel not long ago, it’s so difficult to get used to the keys I put for my hotbar slots (gotta love pressing 2 keys at the same time), so yeah, must practice :p

Bro i just wanted to watch a video about this and opened UA-cam and then this vid pops up.
I was soloing f5 at cata 14 with shadow assassin and a juju. Of course, I did basically no damage and the boss took 5-10 minutes (can't quite recall how long it took tbh) but I was able to do it. now that I actually do damage, it takes no time at all. I'm only cata 25 atm

My 2 cents on learning mechanics is that watching someone else do something can also be helpful for learning the mechanics, especially for ppl who learn things better by watching

What mods do you use?
Party Finder sucks because you've got parties that are toxic, sometimes, party finders for a certain floor ARE EMPTY, and even though you see a party, you can't even join it because you don't even have the requirements to join it and finally, there are parties THAT literally mention they want an S/S+, and for a casual player, they don't want to join those because they might as well die in the dungeons and get roasted by his party
I came expecting a guide on how to beat hypixel skyblock but instead I got a guide on how to beat life
I was among the folks who absolutely despised the party finder, because my already limited time was wasted on so many runs by either me being bad at dungeon routing or by teammates not being helpful
The solo update looks to be the thing that gets me back into it
Solo is significantly slower than even terrible pfinder for difficult floors (f7, most of master mode), even if you only get s+ 50% of the time with pf.
I get what you're saying, and frankly yes that's true
But part of the reason why pfinder was bad is cuz nobody knows how to do secrets and/or doesn't care to learn them

@@nekoplayz1501 oh yeah I’m 100% in support of solo dungeons being good for learning, but I don’t think there is any progression level where it’s the most efficient option. Of course, if you find it fun or helpful then do whatever.
Personally i highly don't recommend getting an overflux unless you alr have smth like froze blaze/necron because it almost the same price as the set but is a huge mana drain for the only good part being +100% mana and some vitality. On the other hand fb/necron increase ehp and damage by a lot. After you get fb/necron i think it is a viable option for support tho. Also the end sword is a man drain and not worth unless you have like 2k+ mana and a overflux(not reocmmend due to privious reasons). smth i just relised mid comment is to not sell your first capitor and instead use it to make a overflux(unless u alr have a overflux/better). I also dont think florid needed as it a few extra mil coins for +40 hp will will have no major effect in dungeons). Another thing i highly dont recommend keeping a ice spray wand untill mm 4-7 where it reasonable to start struglling to minin bosses/bosses.(also lcm but by then your so rich you could do wtv)
A couple of corrections to this comment, but it's mostly accurate:
- FB/Necron is definitely a good choice before Flux, however I personally went for flux before these (and used it in superior). It works surprisingly well and if you're super stingy about your armour, you can go for the flux before if you're super keen
- End Stone Sword is basically only worth it if the setup you're using isn't mage-oriented. The mana drain is really bad if you need that mana for damage, but if you're playing something like melee/ranged, you can use it for the survivability and not worry about the mana drained
- Florid very much makes a big difference in dungeons. I believe there's scaling with the HP it gives you in dungeons, though I'm not 100% certain on how this works. I just know that 3 charges can get you from about 20% hp --> 90%, and this isn't bad by any means.
- Ice Spray I'd recommend getting as early as possible, ESPECIALLY if you main Archer (which most people will, since mage is too expensive and bers sucks). This is because you can freeze any miniboss/difficult mob on the spot and bow them down with ease, and it doesn't matter at all whether you need this for F6 or M7.
While yeah, the ice spray is significantly more useful in MM where freezing mobs is almost required, it's still an insanely good support item before that, and if you have the money/got lucky getting one, I'd keep it.
@@ModernSoldier I think it depend heavily on gear and if you do want it get it closer to when you have a lot for the other gear. Also i dint know about anything of increased healing from florid i'ma go check that

@@purpleduckbee Strange, since it's been a good panic healing item for me on my lower level accounts when I need it. I don't use it anymore since I benefit more from my other healing items, but I recall it being exceptionally good at lower cata levels.
As for using an ornate instead of a florid, the florid is only around 2-3m, and imo you may as well go for the best of the best if it's that cheap, since the extra boost can still make a difference at not that much of an extra cost
I do f7 with full Shadow assasin and a bouquet of lies, i can't even die
i would love to get zombie slayer 7 and sven slayer its the fact i dont wanna kill 400 of each boss
a good example for practice is ragetrain because it took him a long time to solo f7 and he didnt give up
Sometimes I just feel proud of myself when I enjoy grinding t4 voidglooms and look at the chat filled with nons begging for carries (some even beg for free).

pov ur banned for a week from a ratting incident and watching 20 skyblock videos a day and still when u get unbanned ur cata 30 and still cant solo f2
my florid doesn't get me to 100% HP ever .. like I have on average 3000 HP when just walking around and if I find myself needing a florid I might get a quarter or half my health back at most, healing wands are wayy better and would recommend getting attonement far before getting florid (ornate is a must tho at minimum)

I'm unsure if the new dungeon changes made it so you can enter kuudra by yourself, but I used to just use a fragbot to queue a 2 person kuudra, and then only have 1 person get warped in (myself).
does ultimate wise work on overflux?
You can't apply it, no
Only thing you can use is Mana Disintegrators from Blaze Slayer (about 800-850k each, 1% mana discount when applied to any deployable/orb up to a max of 10%) I don't believe you need the blaze slayer level for them either so it can be a nice thing to have to make your orb placement cost cheaper.

I would, but releasing configs are risky for me because they can contain API keys, session IDs, etc. I'm not 100% sure of where this information lies within any of my configs, so unfortunately I don't release them for my own safety

Good point, but when it comes to explicitly "solo'ing things", the etherwarp isn't exactly going to make it easier, it's just gonna make things faster/cleaner. Definitely a good upgrade to go for though
