I absolutely love this new look of Bunker. It really elevates what was previously a pretty basic outfit into something so much more unique and expressive, whilst still paying homage to that original design. He is still recognisable as Bunker. Having his powers actually form the suit is a genius move. Not just as a means of helping convey what the character can do and what he's about, but from an-universe angle too. It opens up a lot more versatility for Bunker by letting him change on the fly. And from a creator side of things, that facilitates a nice compromise of a more casual clothes look and a desire to keep his more iconic aspects. All around excellent job really.

Research, why? If you have an idea, it helps to understand the "you" in the character. I'm always impressed how you use feedback to improve your concepts.
I think research is important so that the character's history informs the design, that way it feels like a real evolution (rather than just a sudden shift!) But I also agree with you in that it helps to find the "you" in the character.
I loved bunker. But you kind of ruined him. Never before was he defined by his sexuality. Your version makes his sexuality literally the only part of him thus making him worse. I hope you take this the right way. Yall only ever draw gay characters in the most stereotypical way and now bunker is one dimensional. Because of you.
Hi Jonathan! I'm sorry the design strikes you that way. I really poured my heart into this. Our intention is to broaden Bunker's visual range and make his world bigger, not smaller. If we're able to tell more stories, hopefully you'll see more of the care and thought we've put into this character.
I love this new outfit! Read a couple issues with bunker earlier this year and adored him as a character. I think you really did him justice with the redesign, great job!

You back! Your new studio in the background looks very nice! I agree with the feedback they gave you. I think the ponytail look would go great with an older relative of his. The final version looks very good!
I’d love to see him featured in a City Boy comic or team-up ! Not much reason other than him having a constructive architecture-adjacent power that could be fun to tie together in interesting ways 😅
I love Bunker he is one of my favorite heroes! It's awesome to see a definitive older version of him especially now that i'm older compared to when I was reading Teen Titans it's amazing to see the character grow up.
Bunker was one of the best things that came out of the New 52 Teen Titans run and I’m glad that he is at least still being used even if it is not as much. I love the color change from lavender to pink as a way to show that he has more control in his powers.
Glad you like it! Some people may be put off by the hot pink on the model sheet, but I threw in some neutral lavenders and cool purples in the final colors (especially when things got really dire), so it just broadens the range of his visual energy!

Wow! Thank you so much for helping to bring back Bunker and for the fantastic redesign. To use his bricks to form his costume is an epic idea. On November 1st, when Josh had tweeted "Bunker is back, baby!", I answered his tweet with 3 miniposter I made. I wanted to use them to start a petition to bring back Bunker. And now you and Josh did it, hooray! I think Bunker is one of the most interesting characters in the DC universe. He's so incredibly powerful and could easily be a dangerous supervillain, but chooses to be optimistic, helpful and friendly. I really hope that the responsible people at DC realise it and allow Josh and you to give us more stories.
Fingers crossed we get more Bunker stories! Josh and I have so many cool ideas for him. We really believe he can hold his own solo series if given the chance. 😁
Bunker was super-popular, he was literally the only really popular aspect of that run. They really need to bring him back to titans!
