How to make Falafel- Fried chickpeas/Carib Sunsations

    Falafel Recipe:
    3 cups of chickpeas (soaked and drained)
    3/4 cup of chopped onions
    1 1/2 cup parsley
    1 1/4 to 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
    1 tsp coriander
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tsp turmeric
    2 tsp allspice
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    a dash of cardamom
    Optional 3-4 cloves of garlic (not used in video)
    Once ingredients are sourced, press play and follow along.

    I tried this today and I love them, i fried some and baked some they were really good. i am happy i found your cooking link because as a vegan its hard to create recipes. i created a few when i started out and am now I am running out of ideas but you are making it possible for me to continue, thank you. keep them coming.

    These look great. Here a few tips: 1. Don't cook with coconut oil. It has a low smoke point and easily becomes acidic when heated. Raw collards have a strong flavor. Briefly, and I do mean BRIEFLY, boil the leaf in water for 15 seconds and quickly add it to a large pot with ice cold water to stop the cooking. AGAIN, do not boil them for more than 15 seconds. This flash boil process removes the "rawness" from the collard and makes it more palatable.

      You can leave out the peppers and just cook the quinoa.
