First WIK I participated in. My father has left me in the snow to be eaten by the winter wolves, because I spent the stale bread money on betting for FG clips.
In ancient times, this game was played by holding a big rock over someone's head and betting smaller rocks on whether or not they'd survive it being dropped on them.
These WIKs are getting crazier every time. Next month there will be a clip of a mosquito landing on a cow and Sajam will be like "Alrighty then, chatroom..."
@@bifman22 I dont have it but i've seen in on Twitter and in the Guilty Gear reddit sub. if anyone willing to put in more effort than I wants to track it down.
Just wait until you get to fighters with characters that have negative guts. But yeah, guts is definitely something that exists. Many fighters have it and it's baffling all the same.
This stream taught me a deep love and respect for OTG. Also I lost 1000 bits because I thought Neko Arc was doing the super. Definitely rigged, Sajam is a hack and a cheat.
Seeing the DNF clip live was one of the wildest things I've ever seen in my life. I sincerely hope it opens the option for "draw" as a Who Will it Kill option going forward
In the live version they just refunded the bets and left us all dumbfounded. (Edit: also before the stream they have a multiple choice vote, so it works but would need a new ui)
You walk into your apartment. Your foot accidentally nudges the broom and it smacks you in the face. As you feel the sting of pain from the broom, time slows to a crawl and you hear a ghostly voice say, “Aaaalll right chatroom…will it kill?”
28:08 the bow rotation (yugaeri) is a feature of Japanese archery so when it bounces up and down in the clip, it's because he's shooting multiple arrows in rapid succession; the bow is being drawn and then rotating upon release over and over really fast
Heck, yeah, "Spectral vs Generation". It's only a single short clip but now I have an excuse to go on this tangent. Apologies in advance. There's actually quite the history behind it. Essentially, It's a crossover fighter between two IPs, "Spectral Force" (typically SRPGs) and "Generation of Chaos" (real-time-ish army simulators with SRPG elements). But collectively, those two IPs are part of the same "Neverland" brand by the developer, Idea Factory. "Neverland" itself is a surprisingly massive yet relatively unknown franchise that spans all the way back to 1996 up until the last entry released in I think 2012/2013. There have also been various spin-offs like the fighting game and a strategic card game called "Neverland Card Battles". And of course, they are all connected to each other so you'd see characters show up in both series. While the vast majority of this series still remains JP only, some scant few entries did manage to actually get released world wide. I actually grew up playing a number of them so, despite their jank, I have a very particular fondness for this franchise. Funnily, it was also featured in a couple of crossover games such as the infamous "Chaos Wars" (PS2) and "Cross Edge" (PS3/XBox360), the latter of which also included "Darkstalkers" believe it or not. Yes, "Darkstalkers" and "Neverland" have some history together. Let that sink in for a moment. Sadly, given how long ago the last entry was, the franchise is more or less finished. Idea Factory has since moved on from developing RPGs and kind of just makes Otome now. Quite successful Otome apparently but not really my area of expertise. Instead, their subsidiary, Compile Heart, have taken over the developing reigns. Their first couple of games, such as "Record of Agarest War", took heavy inspiration from "Neverland", to the point of outright reusing the same systems and assets wholesale, but now they primarily are known for the "Hyperdimension Neptunia" series which itself has a lot of references to "Neverland" as well. The more you know...
And SvG was made by International Games System. It was their fourth, and last, fighting game. They also made Martial Masters, the game that was an homage to various Kung Fu movies featuring Wong Fei-hung and his hot aunt.
I can't believe Sajam went halfway to saying but then gave up on the punchline of "This is what Peak performance looks like" on that Kinnikuman Mountain clip at 30:07 Shaking and crying rn
Okay so i may have figured out the Potemkin clip with the HPB mixup. 1: Do HPB, delay the RC a bit and drift downwards 2: Fast cancel into j.S to land early, and do Pot Buster.
Moste obviously killed it on this one but I got so confused for a second at how Jam dropping his stick at 26:41 shook the stream'a screen capture I was genuinely shook
That Dudley combo was in the first few wik videos that you made. I remember someone in chat saying it infinites on females and Q. Thank God I remember it and went all in.
With all the 50/50 bets, I realized one thing for sure: Nobody in Sajam's chat plays Under-Night. lmao 15/5, counting the Draw. Best episode I've ever done.
I was down 3-6 in the first half (I didn't count the final clip of the first half), then I started flipping a coin for the second half and ended in a 10-9. You love to see it.
Went into this one with 69k points, left with 77k more cause I guessed the last clip right going all in. Love to see it. This was my third live WiK, and I got a record of 14-5-1! The draw clip was insane. Thanks for putting these together every month!
From 4-5 to 11-8, a lot of close calls, emotions high. Thank goodness for the Fatal Fury 2 and Kinnikuman clips in the second half to throw rocks at comfortably. Throwing so many rocks in the first half was reckless.
As someone who knows a lot of UNICLR, i looked at that hyde starter and immediately knew that there was no way i could vote on that. I was sitting there thinking "okay, when i do a silly full resources CCVO combo how much damage does it do. well, just about exactly... oh no". The moment you hit 5000 damage in that game it just stops you there. Not a pixel more.
9-10 I had a VERY rough start but I think this is the closest I've ever been to even. Maybe next time I'll have a positive record. I'm loving all the extra edits from Moste.

Honestly, I think an idea for Yomi Hustle would be to play, like. Half the match. Just dead half of the game. And then opening predictions on who wins. Obviously, you wanna pick clips where things are more even come the halfway point, but the clips are so fast that it won't take much time, and it'll be good representation of the game in this format.
Man, I was feeling so smooth with my 10/5 record and then my old friend Water Pizza pulled up to murder my family. To my deep shame, my thought process was mostly "Oh look how smart I am, I know how the emotion system works" without realizing that maybe the person who submitted the clips knows it too. Also any Neco Arc clip is impossible to predict because you got two outcomes: either the cat dies and the chat goes wild, or the cat lives and the chat goes wild. There is very little difference, and the only reason I voted "Yes" is because I thought that outcome would be a slight bit more funny considering Powdered Ciel's super animation.
Man, I want some fighter to be bold enough to have a character that: When they drop to 1hp, they become immune, and restore health from damage. Once a battle, or even resetting it with some stupid restrictions. Just to have somebody do a long ass combo and 'why isn't he dying? Oh, oh no, I forgot!'
