In Hisoutensoku, the weather is an important element of the game. The present weather, Typhoon, grants everyone super armor and they lose the ability to block. Sakuya used a spell to slow time and it also granted some i frames. Sakuya's 4A allows her to repeatedly slap. While time was slowed, this provided enough delay to stave off Alice's attack. As soon as the spell ended, Alice's dashing melee 66a that she started prior to the slow was allowed to finish. This was a risky gamble by Sakuya playing her own "Will it kill".

As soon as I watched that "Nitroplus Blasterz" moment happen, I knew I had to submit it to the show. Not just for the fact that it's a tournament winning combo...but also for the fact that the commentator was going absolutely nuts during it. It's the kind of energy that puts a big ol' smile on your face. But yeah, it's nice to see that even after about 8 years since release, this niche little fighter is still seeing play. Granted, no where near as much as the greats of the genre but still enough for plenty of fun to be had.

Sajam being amazed and bewildered by Hisoutensoku's Typhoon weather is exactly the correct reaction. There were two weird things going on. Typhoon weather makes hitstun 0, and Sakuya's super stopped time. The Alice player's kick startup frames were frozen, and the kick came out when the time resumed. If the Sakuya player did a real combo instead of the jab disrespect they would have probably won.
correction: sakuya actually HAD to do the jab combo. that super doesn't stop time, it only slows it. her jab is her only attack faster than 10 frames, which means it lands within the opponent's doubled hitstop, locking them down as long as time stays slowed. if she used any other attack, alice would recover from hitstop and her kick would come out. sakuya had no options to escape*, but the 4AAA... was the only way for her to deal damage before dying.

For the Blazblue clip, if an enemy dies to a super it'll always be the last hit regardless of how much health they have, so the Izanami was actually dead by over 300 or so damage. Also, if you want people to actually be able to guess the BB clips you really should tell people if the person gets Active Flow or not. It's a massive deal for Overdrive combos since the super at the end does over double damage in addition to having attacks do 10% or so more damage while it's active. There's been multiple clips for the game where the combo started without Active Flow, but mid-combo they get it and get a kill that otherwise would not be possible without it.
