Hey, I really appreciate the tutorial, because I have been bending backwards and forwards trying to figure out how to do the water affect, When it is simple one ingredient. Water! lol Thanks again
I just love how when you make the design you don't do what alot of people do, like they just pull it out and I LOVE how you make a swirl its so pretty :)
Here are some tips I discovered through trial and error ^_^ : 1) Never use thick nail polish, it will not spread. 2) Never use metallics or glitter polishes, likewise about spreading. 3) If you live in a naturally colder country, use slightly warm water. Using warm water also helps the polish to stay liquid so it doesn't dry as fast if you need more time. 4) Always attach the design to the outer corners of the cup BEFORE doing anything else, to secure it. Good luck, and PRACTISE! ^_^
Instead of scotch tape simply just use cuticle oil and painted all over your finger all around your nail this way you could just use a Q-tip and it wiped off completely very easily
What tips would you have for beginners? I used l.a. colors and they wouldn't spread out for me. Any way you could make a beginners video and/or tips and tricks? I'm confused. I spent 3 hours trying to get it right. Only two of my nails came out right.
I have an updated version of the video with a better camera and tips and tricks. Link is in the description box. If that doesn't help let me know and we'll see if we can get it figured out. 😊
Martika Fernandez sometimes the water is to cold so the nail polish freezes. It doesn't work for me but that's just because I don't know how to and I'm really bad at it
So cute! I would love to see you trying out POP beauty's nail glam in your tutorials. We have so many amazing hues in a non toxic formula. Keep up the great work! x
This video was very helpful. I actually watched a lot of these videos in order to understand perfectly how it works, and I managed to do it, but I loved the result of only one nail haha by the way, you spend a lot of time creating your design and I think that it's a very important thing when you want the nail art to be cool, because what you create in the water is what you're gonna have on ur nail! I didn't know you could do two nails at a time, very helpful.. :)
I just wanted to let you know I watched your video last night and tried this for the first time tonight.. and i was able to do it! there were a couple tiny air pockets.. but other than that it went well! Thank youuuuuuuu :)
thanks for helping this was just a example for me how to do water marble nail art i used cyan neon pink yellow orange and green for rainbow to match my hippie outfit thank u and u earned a new subscriber
Try using room tempeture water, use a color that spreads out well while using the sinful colors, and use a new bottle of sinful colors. Hope that helps!
Also glitter polishes are AMAZING for water marbling, you just have to use a different base coat than white for your marble. Try using the lightest color in the marble as a base coat instead.
When you water marble you have to work fast and you also need room tempeture water and make sure your polish isn't think, and its new so you can work faster! Because it worked for me!
Ceiarah- you can use any type of room temperature water. Whoever said you had to use filtered water was not very educated. I use tap water all the time and its fine. And to itzDeath27- it doesn't matter what brand, but stay away from crackle, fast drying, and glitter polishes since they don't work in the water. Most nail polishes is trial and error, some colors work and some don't.
I have a couple of questions for you. Does any nail polish work? Sometimes the nail polish just doesn't spread-either clumps or falls to the bottom. Also, does it matter what type of container you use:such as glass, plastic, paper? You said bottled water-only bottled room temp. works best? I have trouble with the toothpick bunching up the nail polish when I make a design, and I should go from center to outside??? Any helpful suggestions would be great!! Thanks!
It sticks to the the petroleum jelly instead of your hand, when you wipe it off the jelly comes off without leaving anything on your hands :) easy clean up!
after 4 hours of trying i got 4 nails done lol and out of all the nails i think i like 1 nail more then the others hahah but its awesome and it needs lots of patience cuz it takes some time lol
@jasmine ramirez the first drop always will dry out first, and it will depend on what nail polish you use because some dry faster then others. If that is not the problem then it probably dry out faster becuase you do not do the water marbling fast enough.
I love your nails, I've been trying this. You inspire me. Why, though, did you make such a mess with that first off white color? Maybe I'll remember after looking at it again.
I've done it plenty of times and if you do a quick google/youtube search you can see tons of people can do it lol. Funny how people say it doesn't work :P
Like a Brita container, where it removes the impurities from tap water. I have heard bottled water works as well so long as it has no additives. Tap water is too hard so the polish won't spread as much, if at all.
You can use a nail art brush, paint brush, tweezers, end of a plastic fork. All of these things really worked for me but you have to remember to be careful if you're not using a toothpick because it is WAY easier to ruin the design (: Just going off of experience here lol

Taneasha Condra Of course! Glad I could be of help! ^.^

Your video is one of the best water marble videos I have seen❤
more people should appriciate the time and effort this takes
Instead of scotch tape simply just use cuticle oil and painted all over your finger all around your nail this way you could just use a Q-tip and it wiped off completely very easily
Thx will try
Big Lou East Coast Review or vaseline
Why did the viewers give so many dislikes? It is such an amazing video. I love it. Love the colour combination.

Oh yeah don't use LA colors, they get mushy over time and it doesn't spread out, try using wet n wild, Essie, or Sally Hansen
smol fun sized bean I use ONLY LA colors and the design comes out beautifully.
Martika Fernandez sometimes the water is to cold so the nail polish freezes. It doesn't work for me but that's just because I don't know how to and I'm really bad at it
Maybe try using Sinful Colors it's actually pretty cheap brand it's only 2 or $3 at Walmart or Target I don't think LA Colors would work
So cute! I would love to see you trying out POP beauty's nail glam in your tutorials. We have so many amazing hues in a non toxic formula. Keep up the great work! x
its so beautiful.... my nail paints did not spread in water...

using white just makes the polish stick out more, You dont really HAVE to use white, but it just makes it look better
i tried it many times...it doesn't spread in the water :( please i need help :'( what do i have to do?
The water needs to be clean and you need to touch the water a little with the brush
Try changing the temperature:)
Chinna is right heck out dearnatural62 's channel most of hers she tells tips
Make sure it is not thick or it wnt spread
Actually most of u are wrong . You want to use nail polish that is made with more oil other wise it wont spread. I had the same problem but fixed it
That was really cool...I never thought of using a brush to clean around the nail! Thnx
Can I use a really light pink instead of wight
yeah any color you want it was just a particular design
I don't like this
Yes, it's really your preference. But light colors work best to help the colors be more opaque.🙂👍💅
the best part about this tutoral is not only can you end up with pretty nails, but you can have pretty tape, and fingers!
🤣🤣😂😂
I made these but with a light blue and mint green colour scheme! Looked gorgeous, but the cleaning process was so annoying :p
use liquid latex around your nail. just peel it off when you lift your finger out.
Some people are allergic to latex
You can use Elmer's Glue (the white school glue) around your nails. The glue works better than the tape imo.
I just wanted to let you know I watched your video last night and tried this for the first time tonight.. and i was able to do it! there were a couple tiny air pockets.. but other than that it went well! Thank youuuuuuuu :)
the nails are awesome

Mine looked cool until I put the top coat on and the colors bled into each other :/
did you let dry for long enough?
Let it dry for at least 20-30 minutes. For better results let it dry for one whole day
when u put nail polish
in the water it feels me so satisfied
so beautiful 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Also glitter polishes are AMAZING for water marbling, you just have to use a different base coat than white for your marble. Try using the lightest color in the marble as a base coat instead.

Just use Simply Peel!
Random person this vid was made before simply peel was a thing
You could also put the nail polish tip at the top of the water touch it so it could spread better
can buy do it on short nails
lucy King lhmtjt
Yeah
Yes she did

Gray Elephantxoxo
linnev 11 My best friend paints nearly the whole area around the nail, let's it dry then washes off when she cleans her hands.
@jasmine ramirez the first drop always will dry out first, and it will depend on what nail polish you use because some dry faster then others. If that is not the problem then it probably dry out faster becuase you do not do the water marbling fast enough.
Can you do my nails 😄😂😄😂

It looks like you're an amateur at spelling.
Just wondering before I start this how long typically does it take for the polish to dry? Thanks! Great tutorials!
Love u
Wow thank you so much you have done a great job and told me lots of information!:)
no nice
if the nail polish is too thick it wont spread so just put a little removal in to make it a little thinner that way it will spread
Sloppy

you can also use A&D or vasaline insted of the tape.
YOUR FINGERS TURNED PURPLE
You can use a nail art brush, paint brush, tweezers, end of a plastic fork. All of these things really worked for me but you have to remember to be careful if you're not using a toothpick because it is WAY easier to ruin the design (: Just going off of experience here lol
