Very helpful video...ty for posting. Had all but given up on marbling until I watched this video and now I can't wait to try again. I was using polish that was too thick I'm sure and the shaking of the bowl is a great idea. Very helpful video again thank you.

Hi! I am nail obsessed, and tried water marbling the other day but it all just dried in the water too quick and didn't even spread out....but, I will try, try, try again, till I get it right! Dearnatural62 (UA-cam, IG, Twitter, FB) Thanks, i'll check them out! :) I tried again, with Mua (pastel shade) polishes, and they were brilliant! Which is great- because they're only £1 each in Superdrug (look like Essie nail polish), Colour Works polish, and 2true Crystal polish in shades 5 and 6- all perfecto! I realise now why everyone needs sooo many polishes- they all do different things! Base coats, marbling, stamping, glitter, clear that's flexible for making decals etc etc....the list goes on! I'm a nail tech and I never had this issue till I discovered everything nail related that didn't just involve normal polishes for nail art.....but I'm loving it!

Dancerific sometimes it just depends of the color of the nail polish. it's kind of stupid i know but some colors don't react the same xD and maybe your water was too cold? i tried it for the first time yesterday and it did great on my nails. i used the color ''home run'' by pure ice and the red one by Nicka K :)
Try and find a nail varnish thinner and then put 1-2 drops in the nail varnish that u wanna use close the lid shake it and then it should be thin and work 😄
Ok! I'm going to try this again. I tried this 8 years ago and failed miserably, I also made a hell of a mess. However your tips and explanation (no to mention how pretty the results are) has given me the will to try again. So (painted) fingers crossed :) Thanks!

When I want to do the design the nail polish gets stuck on the tooth pick
Wrong:/ put the toothpick on the edge of the nail polish.not in the water and then in the nail polish

Sally Hanson, China Glaze, and Essie work best for me.

One good thing about Sally Hansen is that it is pretty cheap. (which is good as often as I have to replace my black and white polish...lol)
