I love how Richard claims he was pressured into throwing the tomato, when only moments before he perfectly frisbees it onto the rocks before Paul was even done talking
Ayoade's sense of humor is fantastic because he'll just keep diving into a joke that most people would use as a throwaway, and he's got the wits to keep it funny
I want real Travel Man bloopers, where Richard and guests flubbed lines, said weird things, broke up laughing, etc. C'mon Nicola, you teased us in that podcast about how Bob Mortimer made Richard 'cry with laughter so much, the footage was not usable'. I want to see that.
I love Richard’s quiet indignation at Paul making friends on the tram! “What the hell’s going on?! I’m gone one second to get you a long drink...” That’s the difference between Brits and Americans - I’m British and we would never just chat to stranger abroad haha!
A lot of Americans don't either; it just depends. Case in point, my husband and I live in Texas, and went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon. We rode on the monorail quite a bit, and even though I'm pretty gregarious, the only people who would engage with me beyond just a formal greeting were A) a man who also was from Texas, and B) a couple from Toronto, Canada.

Richard trying reindeer jerky: “Now that, will not yield…How long has it been drying?” Clerk: “6 months “ Richard: You can really taste the 6 months 😂🤣
i keep coming back to the frank skinner segments again and again. just beautiful smart funny wry men, magic. how could those scenes not be included? TOO good?
This is fucking gold. The fact that it is completely out of context makes it so damn funny. Like if you just stumbled onto this video knowing nothing about the show you'd be like What the actual fuck. Also Richard would make a great psychedelic trip guide
i mean it is probably just a more dramatized version of himself, like most comedians i know of. like a concentrated version of jokes and chaotic energy.
He was at Cambridge University with David Mitchell, Robert Webb and Olivia Colman, they all (mostly David, Robert and Richard) have a very dry, monotone, sarcastic and self loathing sense of humour.
Travel Man is your greatest travelling companion 👍 with him we will have the best adventures & experiences of a lifetime. As he makes these trips epic full of life's funny interesting logic ! You might lose your luggage but you won't lose him 🤣he's a keeper love the show ❤

The guest choices are awesome its like you are just hanging out with them so candid you make them feel human hope you bring more interesting people because this is really entertaining, wish you all the best
Richard and Adam have to have worked together in the past or something, he brought out something in Richard 😂 it’s funny seeing how Richard is with everyone especially his friends. His episodes with Noel and Chris O’Dowd are some of the best imo
i love that you can hear the camera people laughing at paul and richard in the sauna
Also in a "night cheese" bit with David.
And on the tram
This blooper is so much more funny than the original broadcast.
I bet they got charged for a new set of sauna rocks
@@j.frankparnell6195 It genuinely is, idk why they didn't use any of it.

"They hate themselves. And they hate what they've become." - Richard, talking about tiny fried fish
"What's that coming out of the end?"
"Their SOLES"

They're a good combo
Chaotic neutral
When Richard went in for another bite of the burger I lost it
That burger bite in the steak cloud followed by Rudd wiping his brow with the bun sent me into hysterics.
"You need teeth, you need saliva, you need a lot of hate inside you..." and then he throws one in immediately. Fking dying.
I love hearing crew laughing
Richard Ayoade is an absolute treasure.
I love how much Richard and his male guests flirt with each other
Richard is married.
Married and flirty!
the Bro-mances are STRONG :)
Men are too afraid to show how much they enjoy other men’s company, this is how friendship should always be.
I find it funny that what I would class as normal banter is considered flirting nowadays!
"humming, is that rasict? Borderline." "I'm walkin here!"
Like 5 minutes in and already dying.
I wish David Mitchell had gone somewhere with him, I love them together
OMG i love that combo!
I think my favourite is Richard and Robert Webb. The banter about Philip Scofield as a lover just slayed me.
Yes I wish there'd been more from that episode
I love the guy that stepped out of the elevator and was like...no, too many cameras. Im going back in. Lol.
That would've been my exact reaction (bcos I don't think Richard or Bob would've been identifiable from that angle)
I was laughing four minutes in only to realise it’s TWO HOURS LONG. Richard Ayoade is slowly balancing out 2020’s horrors.
Really, you didn't notice the very first part of the title that says "over two hours" ?
He'd need a video with a 20 hour run time to equate to the horror that is 2020...
That said, this DOES help, however...
The more I watch Richard, the more I want and need him to be my best friend and constant travel companion....even to Aldi
