I was there!!! Their banter between songs was vintage Monkees!! "It was in tune when you bought it!" "hey, no old jokes!" "If you find a way to make a LOT of money...please let us know, because we have NO CLUE!!"
So much better than the previous reunions back in the 80s and 90s. Nesmith actually looks like he's enjoying himself. Well done and a treat to watch. A shame radio never plays these excellent tunes.
Mike truly is the leader of the band... With him missing during most of their post-60s run the band never did feel quite right... Now that Davy's gone, it won't ever again... Still... Hearing Mike w/ the band... =)
Re; Mike's guitar: Such are the joys of playing live. They handled it like pros. Loved it when Peter sat down and Mike left the stage. Funny! They still have their comedic timing as well.
Until Davy's unfortunate passing, they were one of the very few bands that really had no lineup changes in their history. Yes, Mike and Peter left at one point, but they were never replaced in the band.
Because there was no banjo on the original recording. Peter played an electric 6-string guitar on the track with Mike playing both an electric 12-string and acoustic guitar.
At 68 yrs old, this music has never grown old to me.
I love it
They were so funny! Love their humor!
Strongest of the various Monkee trios.
Boy do I love them ! Great song ! Mike perfect !
Wow, they knocked it out of the park! Terrific moment
good footage I can tell they all still love each other (which is something we all need)

Once heard Daydream Believer at a Walmart; it was awesome.
Best concert I've ever seen! And that's at least 70!
2011 ~ 2012 shows were magic!
This is just funny, I had to watch it again. I'm sure they were mortified at equipment not working, but it really makes for a great show! LOL

OMG, how funny they still are together! Love it!
Great concert!! Mike on Gretsch 12 String, Peter plays Bass and Micky on Drums.
Great moment you captured! They still have the chops to entertain when things go awry. Great video.
Thanks!
"He's Gone!" Lol ;-)
This was great fun to watch--thanks!
I was there great show, thanks for posting...
Pinocchio lives!
Seems like all the best Monkee songs were written by the great Papa Nez...
Classic, loved it!!

Why are they not in the Rock and Roll HOF?
I want to hear those great songs again!
Any requests? VALLERI!
why isn't Peter playing banjo in Sunny Girlfriend?
Because there was no banjo on the original recording. Peter played an electric 6-string guitar on the track with Mike playing both an electric 12-string and acoustic guitar.
Where's Davy?
+MrMoonlight222 Unfortunately, he passed suddenly February 29, 2012, rest his soul.
