one thing i love about Ron’s gone wrong is that the kids act a lot more realistic than in other animated movies. The bullies usually aren’t just outright mean directly to the main character’s face. they will try to be nice to them because they think they’re actually being nice, but you can tell how much they don’t want to talk to you and that’s what can hurt the mc’s feelings the most. obviously it’s not the most realistic interaction but (coming from someone who may or may not be talking from personal experience lol) it’s better than the “give me your lunch money dweeb!” kind of bully.

Since I recently finished it, I could believe Mark being as good willed as he is. Especially with how excited he was to see how Barney was playing with Ron.

Im adoring Inside Job- absolutely has that GF energy- which makes sense bc the creator did work on it. And I absolutely got that Futurama vibe and some Rick and Morty energy bc of the father and daughter relationship being shown. So creative and fun!
on the topic of kids not going outside, there's also been a discussion happening (mostly in some Millennial/gen z focused subreddits and other such spaces) about how there just isn't as much outside that's accessible to kids anymore - there's far fewer parks and they're harder to get to (especially for kids since so many American neighborhoods in particular were built to revolve around cars, not people walking, and many neighborhoods don't even have sidewalks!), while everything else is private property or otherwise heavily off limits. Or costs money to access. So where exactly 'outside' are kids supposed to even go? Play in the streets?? cos that's all that's left for most kids these days.
I'm looking forward to the new Doctor Who season and, look I know this is an animation channel, but I still really love Webcomic Aurora and wish more people on UA-cam talked about it.
i didnt realize how recent this video is ajgsksjsks great to hear from you again!! especially about inside job, since ive seen that one and i like it a lot
I honestly think I might prefer Inside Job to Rick and Morty because I get the sense the writers are actually interested in telling the stories. Plus the dynamic between Reagan and her Dad feels more unhealthy like it should be, he's a crappy person who has done terrible things to her, where in Rick and Morty, Rick is often exhumed of all his wrong doings and Morty just accepts it.
Props to Inside Job to never hand waving the behavior of the abusive dad like most adult cartoons. Hell, with every shitty thing he does, the next thing he does makes him MUCH worse
I watched and love both Maya and the Three(been rewatching it every day haha, just so many good scenes) and Inside Job. The Ghost and Molly McGee is pretty chill and fun to watch. Amphibia season 3 is out as well and that has been pretty wholesome to watch. I'm been so content with the cartoons that have been out lately, gah I love when world building and animation comes together beautifully.
I really like how Inside Job hasn’t tried to go down the cliche redemption arc for her dad and is showing that he really is a piece of human garbage that’s not just “misunderstood” and doesn’t try and downplay the negative aspects. I’m already imagining Reagan snapping and becoming the ultimate threat to the company since her dad now runs it. Maybe she try’s to go right for the Shadow Triangle guys since her dad is to good at being awful. That’s just me theorizing though, there are so many roads this show can go down.
I watched episode one of star trek prodigy. Very surprised at how much more solid it was then expected I feel nick put a lot of their TMNT 2012 team on it as it has a lot of the same visual kick of the latter half of that series
another reason that kids don't play outside is that the ones that live in cities are terrified they are gonna be run over, and the ones that live in the suburbs don't have anywhere to go
I watched an interesting comment posted in another video by Matt Laskowski, one of the artists from the background animation team, that i would like to share with you: "I was an artist on the show, one of the Background Artists, and this show was a blast to work on through the entirety of the 2020 lockdowns with a super talented team. (My fav key BG’s I worked on are the skull finger lair exteriors, ‘the growing years’ kitchen, the flooding atrium, and infamously the wrecked office with the Loss meme lool.) Nice to see mostly positive reviews coming in, the more people want it, the more likely we can come back for future seasons! Thanks for specifically pointing out that the show isn't RIck & Morty, because I feel like anyone who says it is honestly hasn't actually watched the show and just repeating what someone else said. There are other elements in the writing/story/art why I can understand some people may not be into it, but giving it a pass cuz you think it’s just knockoff Rick & Monty is misinformed. If you got Netflix it's definitely at least worth checking out, but give it through episode 3 -- the pacing and story scopes settle down a bit after the first 2 episodes, you know how pilot episodes can be as the writers and storyboarders settle in and get comfortable with the characters and setting."

I hope the best for the studio between rob. More unique ideas may come soon.
This year I read Girl Decoded by Affectiva founder Rana el Kaliouby PhD, which is about her interest and research in emotional intelligence for technology. Since I recently finished it, I could believe Mark being as good willed as he is. Especially with how excited he was to see how Barney was playing with Ron.
I love that this movie wasn't "Technology bad, damn millennials". It was more about responsible technology usage.
Just watched Ron’s gone wrong and I genuinely think it’s one of my favorite films.
"it can beat up his bullies for him"
"Learning friendship is a two-way street"
Along with the cutesy robot, the "technology bad" and robot takeover stuff
This also has a lot of "Next-gen"
A 2018 film released on Netflix
(Cellspex did a vid on it a believe if any of you need a reference)
Inside jobs intro is the only one I want to watch over and over again.
Im adoring Inside Job- absolutely has that GF energy- which makes sense bc the creator did work on it. And I absolutely got that Futurama vibe and some Rick and Morty energy bc of the father and daughter relationship being shown. So creative and fun!
The most recent thing I watched is my life crumbling before my eyes…
Well that’s sad
Let's hope it get's better
Everything get's better eventually
on the topic of kids not going outside, there's also been a discussion happening (mostly in some Millennial/gen z focused subreddits and other such spaces) about how there just isn't as much outside that's accessible to kids anymore - there's far fewer parks and they're harder to get to (especially for kids since so many American neighborhoods in particular were built to revolve around cars, not people walking, and many neighborhoods don't even have sidewalks!), while everything else is private property or otherwise heavily off limits.
The one by OSP?
@@thegoodwitchluzura Yeah
The first season of Inside Job was pretty wacky, but fun to watch!!!
The ending of Inside Job has gotten me extremely hyped for a season 2!
i didnt realize how recent this video is ajgsksjsks great to hear from you again!! especially about inside job, since ive seen that one and i like it a lot
Real talk I'm just here to acknowledge a Buzz Lightyear of Star Command reference.
I’m happy to see other people know that inside job’s intro is a total banger
Props to Inside Job to never hand waving the behavior of the abusive dad like most adult cartoons. Hell, with every shitty thing he does, the next thing he does makes him MUCH worse
Inside Job is the best animated adult Show on Netflix I can't wait for Season 2 and I hope they do a Third Season
I didn't quite care for episodes 1 and 2 of Inside Job, but I am so glad I stuck with it because everything afterwards was comedy gold.
Ron's Gone Wrong feels very similar to Next Gen, which was released a few years back
I really like how Inside Job hasn’t tried to go down the cliche redemption arc for her dad and is showing that he really is a piece of human garbage that’s not just “misunderstood” and doesn’t try and downplay the negative aspects. I’m already imagining Reagan snapping and becoming the ultimate threat to the company since her dad now runs it. Maybe she try’s to go right for the Shadow Triangle guys since her dad is to good at being awful. That’s just me theorizing though, there are so many roads this show can go down.
Maya and the three is amazing. It is the only show to ever top sleeping beauty. It really is at its peak in the last three episodes
Ron's Gone Wrong is basically "Here is my cell phone, He's my best friend! HAHAHAHA!!!...haha.... im so lonely."
my dad worked on the show tales dark and grimm on Netflix and I can genuinely say its fantastic
To quote one of the corpses from Corpse Bride this is gonna be good
Love that movie! 😀😀😀
I watched episode one of star trek prodigy. Very surprised at how much more solid it was then expected I feel nick put a lot of their TMNT 2012 team on it as it has a lot of the same visual kick of the latter half of that series
Haven't watched your channel in awhile. Probably wont' watch other videos, but referencing XR, that's what i needed to hear today.
I watched through the whole series of Maya and the Three! It is freaking amazing!!
another reason that kids don't play outside is that the ones that live in cities are terrified they are gonna be run over, and the ones that live in the suburbs don't have anywhere to go
I'm personally having a blast on Shudder: One Cut of the Dead, Mayhem, and Creepshow have all been so good!
Also Murder Drones was fun.
Maya and the Three:
I watched it last weekend.. And it's gosh darn amazing!
Maya's depiction of Ah Puch is absolutely beautiful
I watched an interesting comment posted in another video by Matt Laskowski, one of the artists from the background animation team, that i would like to share with you:
"I was an artist on the show, one of the Background Artists, and this show was a blast to work on through the entirety of the 2020 lockdowns with a super talented team.
When I was a kid, there wasn’t a risk of chemical burns from walking through waterways in local woods. I went back as an adult, and there are chemical warning signs everywhere, because it’s downstream from a business that has legal chemical runoff.
The thing it made me think of was big hero 6
October 22nd was certainly... A day for animation fans.
anytime i see the “robot malfunctions and either becomes alive of gains a personality” trop makes me think of Johnny five from short circuit
dude the book of life dudes have so much talent, their creations are masteterpieces
Savannah in Ron’s Gone Wrong reminds me of my cousin lmao
Ok. Inside job is seriously so good. My ringtone is the intro
I mean if constant references is your thing Inside Job is for you
You’re soooooo right about the supervision kids thing! Wowoowowowow!
I've been exited for Ron's gone wrong
Mostly because I sympathize with having no friends
I’ll be your friend Spooderman!
Its ok, guys, thanks for the offer, i appreciate it. But i have irl friends now, and I'm trying to be on social media less
As far as inside Job the joke about Good and plenty candies with my favorite joke of the whole series. My dad loves those things I went occasionally trick me as a child into eating them by telling me it was medicine because they look like a pill. When magic Mike called them licorice flavored rabbit turds I laughed so hard I nearly passed out
Really dug Inside Job, so eager for season 2.
So excited for Encanto review
I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed Inside Job. It's worth its own review.
Especially the bit where Ron walks around giving freind requests
ngl myc is probably my favourite character from inside job he's so cool
Maya and the Three is the greatest animated show on Netflix ever!!!
I loved Maya and the three!!
I mean what else can you expect from Jorge R. Gutierrez? He has such unique character designs and they're pretty much always top tier
Inside job is hilarious and i love how both shion and alex made another one of my favorite shows
5:00 Personally I thought it was because the lake I used to go to as a kid was filled in for land development before my younger now phone addicted sister could enjoy it. If there's one thing I think is making people so technology driven is that there's no more outside left to enjoy.
4:17
This completely caught me off guard, lol 😂
Honestly whenever I see anything Ron’s gone wrong all my head goes to is next gen
Did not realize this video was almost entirely about the one IP of the three listed in the title that I haven’t seen..
