For that particular glacier hike, we could not do it alone and I see why. We had to take experience guides with us or we could die if we go alone. That Glacier is extremely dangerous with a lot of crevices and massive drop off holes if you don’t know what you’re doing it could be fatal. Thanks for your continued support ❤. This kind of hike at employs professional guides is the only way to go on a glacier. Worth every penny! We hear news stories every summer about visitors who get stuck or stranded in all kinds of places; you are setting a great example to people who want to explore the last frontier.
Holy cow that was an absolutely awesome adventure we just went on! Thank you so so much for taking us along! That was totally worth the amount you must have spent. Unbelievable experience that was 100% “priceless”! While the guides were extremely experienced it just reminds me as a life lesson…. When the plan doesn’t go as expected, (which is never OUR plan to begin with…. A whole other sermon to preach for another day), you don’t need to panic, you PIVOT. Find another way, stay the course, you’ll make it to the finish line and may have learned something and seen something you otherwise wouldn’t have. LOVED this, Nomi!!! Thank you again. Bless!!!

Our son has lived in Anchorage for over 20 years. We have been to visit him many times. My favorite places have been: Denali, Talkeetna, Hatchers Pass, Whittier, Seward, Russian River, and of course Anchorage. He has a UA-cam channel: CTMadModz, where he does some Alaskan adventures in his Samurai jeep. Alaska is a must see place to visit. You won’t regret it.
I've been living north of Anchorage, Alaska for almost 4 years and have never been to Hatchers Pass yet. I need to go this summer before the road gets closed for the winter.
