Hey. I know it's a couple years old, but around the 6:10 mark you said something at the front of the engine had to be removed. Were you talking about motor mount? I see the bottom one at the front is still in, on the side you were videoing. I'm hoping to pull my 650 gear box without pulling the whole motor out.
Is the xmr 850 and xmr 570 transmission the exact same size or does the 570 have a smaller gear box case? I know the ratio is lower but I was wondering about the actual size of the gear box
@JaimmyAC thank you i have a leak at the bottom of my tranny am i able to take off the clutch side without all the guts coming out and also without taking it out if that makes sense where all the torx screws are. i think i have to reseal it with the rv silicone.
Send in your ECU to have it updated to run richer and more timing, that's what I did on my 1000R. For $113.00 shipped, it's the cheapest update on your ATV . And what a difference it made.

Yes, if I remember correctly I think I undid the front motor mount bolt to move it forward a bit. It’s been a while!
If you have to remove the front driveshaft? And slide the motor forward? Or just undo the front motor mount and push the motor down
I did not remove the front driveshaft, I just undid the front motor mount bolt and was able to shimmy it out.
Hey, is it possible to remove the output shaft without the transmission removal? Mine is also broken and rear wheels dont spin
No, I believe you have to split the case open to replace the output shaft. It really was not that hard to take it out
@@JaimmyAC Oh well, thanks a lot for the reply!!!

@@organabis7132 It’s the same, that’s what I used here
@@JaimmyAC hmmmm I wonder if the 6x6 gear reduction transmission will fit then. It has 28 percent lower gears in low and 14% lower gears in high
Wow great video. Excellent detailed removal. Will you be attending hog waller mud bog in may
That's the plan!
i have that same leak where u said the timing chain adjuster how do u fix that
I believe I just changed out the small o-ring it has, simple fix!

Vídeo visto, los quiero felicitar porque pudieron recuperar su otra casa 🏘️🏘️🏘️
Do xmrs have a lower transmission than a xtp abd xts 😊or is it just a better factory clutch?
I believe their transmissions are geared lower.
how did u get out the driveshaft in the front?
I don’t think I removed it for this.
@@JaimmyAC did u disassemble the u joint
@@garrets4432 For the rear? I just slid the back piece off. The rear driveshaft is two piece.
