I just purchased my tulle...however I didn’t see it was a net type until I just came back to rewatch but I did get mid nylon instead of the cheaper tulle. Wish me luck!!! Thank you so much for this video post.
Hi there!!! Lovely skirt! I’m making it now. So on the top where you added the belt. You measure two inches down then added the tulle is that correct? Tx. I pray mine turn out as pretty as yours did!!
I'm in the most of teaching myself to sew and it's always inspiring to see someone do so well who hasn't had formal training either. And it makes it all the better that you are in philly too. Thanks for the great tutorial!
Daughter Of Jesus Hello Fashionista! You need to change the settings on your machine. To the widest stitch and change your tension to 0. Make sure to subscribe there’s more to come!
I have a better way. Fold the tulle length wise then cut. You won’t be able to cut through all 15 yards but cut through as much then take what you have cut and place it on top more layers then cut again. This works better for me and saves time. If you don’t understand, I’ll send my email and send you a video. Bless
Jackson Farner thanks for the comment! It’s been my experience that a gathering foot doesn’t make as deep of a wave as I like on wider fabrics. I like the deep dramatic wave to be on both sides of a wide piece of fabric. On small pieces of fabric the gathering foot works well.
It’s coming along!!! I’m pleased with what I’ve got so far!!!
Wow, this skirt is BEAUTIFUL!!! That is definitely high fashion!
Thank you Miss Moore. You can do it too. 😘

Velvet Oasis Events Thank you 😊 for those words of encouragement.
Use tissue paper underneath while you cut and sew it! It pulls right of and keeps it from moving it
Great instructions
I got the wrong tulle fabric type. What is this called? Mind isn’t turning out like this. It’s cute but I want this look. Tx!!! Love the tutorial!!
