This is so helpful! I'm trying to make my wedding dress by hand, and I've never really made anything that big before, so I'm very thankful for this video.
I'm not a designer or seamstress, I'm not even in the fashion world at all what so ever. I do hair. But Anita I am so infatuated with you! You are so beautiful in and out, I found your channel like a week ago I have already watched just about every video and follow you on Instagram. You are an amazing designer keep doing what you do. You have a fan in me😘
I literally need you to know that I have spent days upon days watching video after video on how to make something like this. This is the first time any of it has made sense. Thank you so so much for that. I am so extremely grateful!!!!!
Your video is fun. I love how you speed it up and it makes a cute chipmunk voice to not waste time. I love the red slippers. I like to dress comfy since I am in pain all the time. Even before I was, I still liked to dress comfy. I never thought of pleating tulle. It looks so much easier than gathering. You do great work. Keep it up. Do what you love. You create beauty.
Lord Ive been trying to make this skirt for 2 months 🥺😩 Thank you for your patience and education esp for beginners like me. Still havent completed it but Im going to continue studying this video. I really want to make this skirt 🙏🏾
I'm making my wedding dress off of a regular dress. I've never used a machine before. but I'm so excited. I really want to sew wrapped lace around my dress but I'm not sure how. I loveeee this tutorial using tulle. opens more options for me :) thank you so much!!!
This has been the most helpful video for me because I am not a professional at all when it comes to sewing, but this was simple and easy to follow. I have a evening gown that I am going to make a skirt like this for to turn it into a ball gown for a ball I am going to 😁😁
Thank you so much. I'm making my own detachable train for my mermaid wedding dress and this is quite helpful. Wish I could see how you'd attach bling to it. :) This is great.
this video is so helpful for me right now. i’m going to add a tulle skirt to my last minute wedding dress & bling it out. i have two weeks to have it all together 😩
Great ideas. Just an FYI, I seem to be logged into my dads Pinterest..:-) Didn't want you to think he was weird or somethin. But I design the windows for Salvation Army here in my town and am always looking for new ways to dress up my maniquins w/o having to put actual clothing on from the floor, only because it never fails, the clothes sell and we end up with naked maniquins in the window. I found another video that was with tule and a no sew, I think I am going to combine both your great visions together and do a no sew with the hook on the front so it will be easy to take off. I am sure someone will try and buy it just as they did my maniquin trees I did for Christmas, and that will tell me it was a great choice. I will be sure to give you both all the credit and send them your way. Thank you so much for helping me execute an idea and getting me unstuck. God Bless and keep on keepin on.
This is such a helpful video! Thank you SOOOOO much! I was at a loss about my prom dress it wasn't what I had wanted at all and this is my senior prom but now I can fix my dress thank you soo much!
Thank God I found you!! I've been looking up videos for my birthday gown I want to make and YOU by far have been so helpful! Your video has been the best one as far as explaining and showing how to layer your tulle! Thank you love!
Omg thank you sooo much !!! This is so helpful! I’m so obsessed I subscribe to your channel ! I will send you pics of my final result !!! Thank you !!!!
I LOOOOOOOOVE your videos ! Could you please make a video about sourcing fabric ? I’m a fashion student ... i would love to learn where to find high quality but low price fabric.
I've been looking for someone who can really make a good tulle skirt, and guess what.....BAM! ( No shade to the rest- but you're skills are SPANKED! 💝) Thumbs up
Hey girlie just found your channel haven't talk with you since Meesha's channel, it's good to see you getting it!!!! So proud of you!!!! your work is always fabulous!!!!!
Hi Anita Rivers, this is beautiful, so I'm trying to make a gown with this volume of tulle, but how do I go about it, like joining this part to the top bodice n how do I fix zipper on it, that's really challenging.
D.A.F'd by Douye Akpe watch my how to make a Tulle bottom video , & my high low dress video mix the two videos work on the dress part then the tulle part then sew at the knee seam
@@charlottegelly4449 Honestly I hunted for a good tulle skirt tutorial and Anita's is the best that I've found. If there are people on UA-cam who know even better than her, why aren't they making tutorials? It's seriously hard to find a good one.
Can you go in and add a 1 or 2-in horsehair braid hem to that even though it doesn't connect? Mine isn't staying fluffed enough. Or if you have another suggestion.
The tulle you are using is so nice and does not wrincle bad I have been buying organza take my tutus because I have so much trouble with the tulle I buy ...where do you buy your tulle...thank you
I enjoyed your video because you did not waste time explaining and made it precise and to the point and I still understood what your were doing
boss grandma thank you !!!
Thank you so much! My mom and I made a $15 dress look like an expensive prom dress. It only cost us $45 overall!

When making the waist band, why don't you stitch in the ditch on the front side? The seam does not show.
