Right when you mentioned you're also a photographer, I just had to subscribe because I just started getting into making my own outfits for photo shoots, something I always wanted to do but just never had the equipment or made time for it, but I LOVE that long tulle skirt, I've been wanting to do something for a shoot like that too! Thanks for the video! I'm still watching it, but took a pause to comment already haha :)
Aww well thanks for subscribing! ❤️🤗 God bless and I'm always trying to create something new I hope you enjoy watching my videos beautiful 😊 let me know how it foes for you 😊

Thanks so much for sharing your tulle skirt making video. Love how simplified it is to make. I will definitely try to make mine using this method, just that a little shorter train and lesser volume, for my pre-wedding shoot. Love the dreamy effect of the skirt. Thanks for sharing again. :-)
I love the tulle skirt so much!! You're so talented with so many things. It really came together when you added that white in. You're an awesome photographer adding in props and eveything. ❤
Thank you so much! God bless you your so wonderful to me!! I had to do another skirt apparently it's my most watched video lol.. who knew? I thought I better do another one 🙏 💓 I really love ya

nice video I have a question what is the size of the rolls of tulle that you use for it? I want to make a tulle skirt in black but a little shorter how much tulle should I need for this? I hope you can help me. Ty 😊
Soooooo beautiful!!! You've inspired me to make one of my wedding dresses :) Do you think using 29" wide chiffon fabric with white tulle overlay would do the trick as well?
It would depend on width of the tulle I would get 12inches wide. Then you would need about 4 of the 45 yards rolls. This also depends on how long you want your train but that's what is average for me 🤗😊
Interesting how you make it look so easily cut with kitchen shears. So cute. Great work. I have to use my fabric shears.....I'm a sewist tho so everything revolves around the sewing less of the photographry. Atm. Still good work.
Thank you! ❤️ You have a Tye off ribbon make the tulle skirt for a fairly large waste and then if the model is smaller you can clamp the tulle off to adjust according to their waste size I hope this makes sense ❤️ if your meaning a custom tulle skirt that can adjust without the clamp I am not sure how one could do it 🙂
Honestly because I make the tulle so thick you could wear capris underneath it shorts either way you won't be able to see but if for a wedding/ grad ect you could definitely have that underneath so when you are moving the won't have a peak a boo moment. These skirts are for photoshoots but that is a great idea if this skirt will be used for any special occasion that requires you to move about ❤️🙏
Yes absolutely it is my photography ❤️🙏 I have a Facebook page that shows all of my photos I have taken ❤️ Facebook page is called: Aliesha's Captured Fantasy Photography Page
You can use an elastic band but you would probobly need to use a sewing machine rather than hand sew because of having to pull as you sew onto the elastic band so it has the right tightness if that makes sense. Or if your handsewing you may be able to pull on the elastic band while you sew but that might get a little tricky.
Yes you can you will just need to pull on the elastic band as you sew. I would recommend using a sewing machine for this technique and you won't be able to go too thick with the tulle fabric as it will easily snag. It will be a little more tedious but it can be done! ❤️
Omg beautiful, I'm wanting to make a 🌈 unicorn skirt for 🎃 party, so this tutorial helped so much.

Where did u buy ur tulle and what are the lengths? I saw a link but it doesn't go to the correct spot.
This is freaking gorgeous

Love this tutorial! Thank you so so much 😍 question, what width is the tulle? 12”?
12" is totally fine. But the thicker the better so it cuts back on the work. Thanks so much :)

Thanks! This really helped, but I'm confused with numbers!! So if I have 40in waist and want 60in train how many yards of tulle should I get???🤔

Hello Ali, this is a great tutorial, thank you very much. Question how do you make it adjustable for women with wider waist?

Hi did you say 4-5 or 45 meters of tulle ?
I love it.
Hehe thank you I'm so very glad you do! 🙂❤️❤️❤️
Oh wow! Guess I have a new project ;)
Would you recommend wearing a petticoat under the skirt?

How many yards of tulle did you use for the dark blue?
Hello for the blue tulle I used probobly close to 40 yards for the blue
Do you stitch into the ribbon too?
Yes I do I pull the tulle tight so I can feel the ribbon and stitch through
