Each one is supremely talented but together they are magic. The new bass, Matt, is wonderful but no one can compare to Avi Kaplan. You should try his solo music. Change on the Rise, video of I'm Only Getting Started and ballad All is Well 7 layer sessions. It's Avi and acoustic guitar in a church in the Netherlands. Acoustics are unbelievable. Subscribed for Avi and anything PTX. Thanks.😅
Thank you for reacting to this awesome live Pentatonix performance. Fun Fact: When Pentatonix official video for this song was first released, Brian May, guitarist for Queen, posted a link to it on his social media with the message "Enjoy". That was pretty classy of him.
When they did the official music video for this, some of the members of Queen heard it and said that it's no longer exclusively a Queen song, but a PTX song as well - they were really impressed by the care and respect these guys have for their music. They are all big Queen fans. If you get a chance you should check out the official music video for this as well - either as a reaction or just in your free time. They dropped a lot of great easter eggs into the video paying homage to Queen!
Thanks for reacting to this. They worked on this song for 5 years before they deemed it worthy to pay homage to the great Freddy Mercury and Queen. You should really take a look at their official video of it for a real treat. It was made with their original bass Avi, who by the way is the only member to leave the group since it formed in 2011.
I really enjoyed the live version and I enjoyed how Matt did. Avi is something else and there really isn't anyone that can do it better but Matt really shows that Pentatonix made the right choice when the added him to the group.
Pentatonix is an awesome group. They've covered all sorts of songs ( including I Can't Help Falling In Love, Imagine, God Only Knows, I Just Called To Say I Love You) and have lots of originals as well. They did have a little help from a choir during the "Bismillah, Let him go" portion. But their official video didn't and I'm pretty sure that any other live performances don't have extra help either. Thanks for doing this cover!!
When I was younger, I was outraged by cover songs. The ones that really got to me were when a Lawrence Welk singer or John Davidson or Mike Douglas or another “pop” singer of the time tried to do a radio hit and just butchered it. Now that I’ve mellowed, I can totally see the point of reinterpreting a classic, (hello, Disturbed’s Sound of Silence!) particularly when it’s done this well. I’m so glad you’re continuing with Pentatonix. Peace …
I was at this concert - and I'll be seeing them again in 2 days. Can't wait!

Not just 'enjoy'. Brian wrote, 'Great version! Enjoy'. =)

The video is better only because it’s more definable.
Enjoyed the reaction. Please also react to PTX: Creep unmasked version and Prayers for this World. Thank you.
I was at this concert theyre Amazing live !
The live versions are breath taking.
