Hi guys Lovely to see you are settling well into your new home and work life, it liken amazing. Glad you managed to get a car you have worked hard. Take care 👋👋😘
Possibly! However, we are actually coming into “winter” now, so it does actually cool down somewhat at night! We will be getting some mesh netting covers for the windows so we can leave a window or 2 open! I personally cannot wait! Lauren is a bit sceptical 🤣 but I’m sure it will be great!
Hello thanks for watching! 😊 I used a combination of putting Facebook posts on local community groups and backpacking groups. And then also going around places with a CV/resume. This works well at restaurants/cafes. Retail jobs we found were a little bit different, especially with larger brands. you often have to go onto their website and apply online, we would do this and also pop in, in person to try and give us a slight advantage. Even though they wouldn’t accept a CV in person. Hope this helps, sorry for the late reply!
Hello, we joined local Facebook groups and backpacker groups. We would put a post on, explaining what experience we had and what sort of job we were looking for. We also went around handing Resumes to local restaurants and fast food places. There is a lot of competition for jobs but you just have to put yourself out there and you will find one. Hope this helps 😊
Hi, I will be moving to Brisbane in jan with my gf, would love our own apartment but flatmates maybe more realistic at the start although we would really like our own space😫 we’re both 27. How was ur experience sharing a flat if u don’t mind me asking
Hi, exciting times ahead! We found flat sharing alright as our flat mate was nice. But there is nothing like your own space! We have just moved into our own place now and love it. And it isn’t much more money than when we were flat sharing. My advice would be to get an air BNB for 1 month if you have money available to do so. This will give you time to find a job and receive a payslip in order to rent your own place. If you have any other questions, feel free to message us on Instragram and we will help you as much as we can! ☺️ Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🏼
Good realistic video of the process. Enjoy your time in Oz.
Thank you, we appreciate your comment 😊
This is the most realistic video I've seen so far on whv ... cheers mate ❤

Whilst editing I thought about what you would think! 🤣 our setup is going to be very basic to start off with!! But we will add to it over time! 😊
