I think the foundation needs to make a classification for anomalies that are genuinely helpful to them, 131 and 999 have put themselves at risk to save lives and I think they should be recognized for their heroics.
If you don't mind the lack of animation and infographics. I'd recommend Exploring's SCP series. His videos are minimalist, yet longer and they go way more in depth. I actually prefer his videos for SCP, it allows me to use my imagination to picture it in my head better.
Imagine being one of the most feared and powerful anomalies in the entire foundation, having the ability to kill hundreds, thousands, in a few moments, and getting completely nullified by an eyeball with the iq of a housecat
What would happen if you exposed both SCP-173 and SCP-689 to each other and then killed all people who ever saw SCP-689 ? Would they be neutralized because of guaranteed mutual destruction ?
i love how the foundation doesnt have some sort of specialised method for moving around the paralised 173, they just used a forklift Edit: I guess I should clarify, I mean that they don't have some sort of specialised harness for transporting 173, I imagine they just plonked him on a pallet and strapped him down
I want one. Not because I have practical use for an eye pod but because an adorable little eye pod who beeps at me and knows when I'm in trouble would become my best friend.
I feel like something you can do when you go face to face with 173 is close 1 eye at a time. As long and you can manage that you should be safe long enough for it to be contained by someone.
I'm not sure if it is canon.but it's suppose to also be unable to move if it is recorded and viewed by someone at a later date. Hence why there is no video of it moving.so just record it with multiple night vision cameras and have the eye pods review the feeds while people are cleaning it's cage

The worse combo is a picture of 096 in 173`s face
Grab multiple pictures of 096, stick them all over 173, behold genocide
Imagine being killed by the foundation you worked tirelessly to help because you accidentally looked at something during a life-or-death situation
Never thought I would see a story about the day being saved by cute eyeball creatures.
Those people were a worthy sacrifice.

I didn’t think I could get any more wholesome when I saw 173 in a chefs hat and then I saw 131 in a little guard outfit
These eye things with their guard equipement (or however it's written) are adorable
Yes
Later they start bullying d class members saying GET IN LINE MAGGOTS
You know, with SCP 173, you can beat it pretty easily by holding one eye open while letting the other one blink, then swapping when the one you’ve been holding open starts to hurt
Some laws like that don’t apply in the SCP world
@@DizzyRL yeah weird laws of logic
But you can't really beat it, you just have to keep it up for as long as possible hoping somebody else comes.
He calls hacks and kils u anyway lol
It's a way to keep him locked in place for longer but even doing that isn't very efficient as blinking with both eyes keeps them moist longer.
I think the foundation needs to make a classification for anomalies that are genuinely helpful to them, 131 and 999 have put themselves at risk to save lives and I think they should be recognized for their heroics.
Basically two cute eyeballs stopped some statues from killing the whole site
Edit: yo tf I didn’t expect to get 100 likes

If you don't mind the lack of animation and infographics. I'd recommend Exploring's SCP series. His videos are minimalist, yet longer and they go way more in depth. I actually prefer his videos for SCP, it allows me to use my imagination to picture it in my head better.
@@Priinsu ok
11:29 as soon as I saw them in lil soldier hats my heart melted lil guy loves his hoomans.
I can imagine the eyepods saluting after recruitment. (PLEASE ADD MORE EYEPODS WE NEED REPRODUCTION OF THESE)
SCP Researcher: Some dangerous anomalies that must be constantly monitored have escaped!!!
04: Deploy the eye pods.
Both statues aren't exactly alive so it's likely both are immune to each other.
i love how the foundation doesnt have some sort of specialised method for moving around the paralised 173, they just used a forklift
Edit: I guess I should clarify, I mean that they don't have some sort of specialised harness for transporting 173, I imagine they just plonked him on a pallet and strapped him down
Well it is made of concrete and rebar so the forklift would be necessary regardless, short of moving it with another scp.
!mute @Ah shit here we again#6969
Well, they need to save resources, just because they are a worldwide secret organization doesnt mean they have infinite resources
P sure 173 take that as cheating and immediately delete you
That's what I was thinking

SCP-131-A: Now this looks like a job for me
Give those little two guys a promotion I don’t care if they are SCP’s
They already did they promoted them to be wardens
Can't you just... Blink with 1 👁️ while the other 👁️ is looking at 173 ? Lol
I actually tried alternating blinks like that and it's... harder than it sounds? It might just be my eyes being weird but whenever I close one eye for a bit then open it again my vision gets kinda bleh and I feel the intense urge to blink. I can only ever do it a few times before I end up blinking anyway, so the SCP Foundation might not be able to do that to deal with the line-of-sight overlords
@@somniumoflight276 To solve this for some reason, I would hold my eyes open to them easier without accidentally blinking both eyes.
It’s hard to keep it up
