Definitely. Went from being scheduled for termination in less than 30 days to working at a law firm. I wish they would’ve kept teaching the kids they did the tests on and recruited them, especially the kid with the learning disabilities.

I would have a MUCH better time if instead of getting to uni without having to try even once, the difficulty/level of my education was adjusted to make sure I would always be learning stuff I didn't already know, even if that means teaching a middle-schooler to do basic calculus, because 1) I would have probably already heard a lot of concepts I'm learning about in uni and 2) I would have actually had to study for stuff and TRY and with that I would have to know how to study by now. And while yes, not having to put in any work compared to my peers all the way through highschool was a big confidence-boost, but I think I would have gotten the same, if not an even bigger confidence-boost from learning material that was 2, 3, maybe 4 years ahead of what I was supposed to be taught
@@lucykitsune4619 You just described my childhood, nice to know I'm not alone! I was always that one kid who the teachers never scolded for reading other books in class since I could answer any question posed and was essentially learning nothing from my classes. It's so jarring trying to go from that to actually having to pay attention and still not understanding the lesson. I hadn't learnt how to learn from teachers rather than on my own and at my own pace, so I ended up dropping out of school and studying on my own for my papers x'D
Id say with that, and like the old school learning games, they make the lessons fun, small and bite sized enough to retain it, and with the lessons, lunch and breaks is to break up everything to where you are well rounded in all areas. And just now in these past couple years, education and doctors as well are just now realizing this, you cant just put a kid in front of a teacher and regurgitate whatever is learned, you have to make it practical and fun if you want it to stick, and not just shove it down their throats.
This is impressive. an old school program that makes any kid a prodigy or adult a professional. It truly is one of the diamonds in the rough landscape that is SCP. It's one of the few SCPs that genuinely wants to help people rather than destroy them
Looking past the more popular (murdery) SCP's, there are SCP's whose sole purpose is to help others or has positive motives in mind. Like SCP-1230 which gives you entertaining dreams or SCP- 294 which can give anyone whatever drink they want or SCP-1342 which is an ET version of Voyager 1 that sends out not only tech and info they saw as useful for us but also a message similar to our own but with a revision that despite our own barbarity towards ourselves and to them, they see humanity as a whole as no less than beautiful...
And honestly, probably would be able to teach you to be more sociable than your teachers more effectively I see no down sides to this until that one guy starts doing.... how do I put this... weird.... drawings that don’t fit
Miss J would probably replace the school teachers and there would be so many loss of jobs. No more school bus drivers, Janitors, Principal, etc. But I still want Miss J cause she sounds amazing
Seeing how great of a teacher Ms J is makes me feel sad that we don't have teachers like that in real life. And now I'm starting to remember about how terrible the education system of today really is and how good or even DECENT teachers are hard to come by.
Yes it's a shame that ms j an't in this reality but if not having a super teacher means not having an almost unkillable lizard or a statue that snapps necks in a blink of the eyes or a sadist with portal powers and ect. I think I'm fine with out the horrors
They do exist, it's just that students don't listen to them, just horse around the classroom and ignore homework. I almost became a teacher then took a look at at my classmates and realized I didn't want to deal with that. No wonder why teachers are leaving since parents and students never want to take any responsibility.
the education system these days is a joke. the old "back in my day" is a collection of words i find myself using more and more XD. even basic knowledge like how stainless steel and aluminium don't mix. aluminium motor block with stainless steel bolts to hold the carter. yeah that's not going to work. it will chemicly react. corrode and get stuck together. (so the only way you're ever getting it out is destructively) while back in the day. they used galvanised steel bolts. and these do NOT have that issue. (just forgotten knowledge or something) when i went to school and learned how to use a lathe. they gave me a block of tool steel. pointed me to a grinding wheel and said. go make your tools. (and ofcourse taught you how to do it) . these days they use hardened steel tool bits. (so you basicly replace the teeth with a premade piece wich you cannot make yourself) so nobody knows how to sharpen a drill or any kind of metal working tool. but it doesn't stop there. they aren't even allowed to replace the toolbits themselves. they have to get the teacher and the teacher will undo the torx screw. turn the hardsteel plate around 90 degree's. and then fasten the torx screw again.. the kids aren't even being taught how to do that. no wonder when ever they hire a new kid that they keep breaking the plates and shit. or over tightning them so they strip the torx bit. just useless. why even bother with school?. they have to relearn everything when they begin working. schools these days seem less about teaching, and more about giving them a little bit of everything so they can choose the direction they want. but they have to learn everything on their own. while getting distracted by all the other courses they will never deal with.
Yes, as only less than 10 D-Class were released from the foundation from the other 1 million. So a 10out of 1000000 chance of release WILLINGLY from the Foundation.
its because we learn best when we are focusing on it, letting us take breaks in between learning recharges our cognitive ability to absorb knowledge, youre not going to learn something if you arent interested in it, and its incredibly difficult to have interest in something you are forced into learning about while sitting in a chair not able to speak up or do anything but watch and listen...
Almost all of the kids are facing the same problem nowadays and not many people notice it, that's literally why a lot of the kids who did really well in elementary school don't do as well in high school. Most of the teachers simply don't focus on the kids who are introverts.
@@Walker_62638 I mean if we all had a Little Miss J in real life we wouldn't be having this problem so much or at least we wouldn't hate school in general thats what makes this scp so sad
Speaks volumes about how much "human" is humanity. It in itself is a major premise in AI- (and ET-) centered scifi literature: can non human sentient beings be "human"...
want more wholesomeness? she was photographed with the desire camera (scp-978) when teaching a d-class and the only changes noted were that there was a half-eaten bag of peanut butter crackers and a gold star sticker that says "super duper" on the d-class's chest. her only deep desires are for her love and validation to manifest physically on her students and thats so freaking sweet.

Mrs. Aidt in 11th Grade for Algebra 1 & 2 Never forget. She took the time to explain the most difficult formulas and showed the class how the formulas worked in real life. Opened my eyes to what numbers can really do. Minored in Mathematics because of her. She was my foundation and building blocks to how far I’ve come in Mathematics “Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world” -Albert Einstein #NeverForget
Miss Marshall 4th grade, she helped me not only come out of my protective shell but also helped me unwind from my fight or flight response when dealing with the other problematic kids in my class after I had moved away from a school that I got in fights a lot in.
Well, most D-Class are people that wouldn't normally have lives. Homeless and many criminals. Giving someone the chance at a better life, when they no longer need them, seems like a proper send off. D-Class are not killed when they are no longer needed.
@@mollypaws The 05 council and Ethics Committee may not see eye to eye all the time. But even they can agree that Ms. J is the perfect teacher, and a way to secure the future if not just the foundation. But the world, and would make for a good send off to quite a few D-class, to insure them a successful future. For that, I propose a toast, to Ms J. The greatest teacher to ever exist.
Growing up as autistic in Kentucky I experienced abuse at the hands of my teachers, I wanted to learn so much, but kids like us were segregated and treated like prisoners, and worse, that i deserved my abuse. Thinking about how different my life might be if I had a teacher like miss J made me break down and sob like a baby.
I'm late but I'm so sorry to hear that. I have Asperger's syndrome and I didn't learn as much either bc the teachers (as well as the students) are simply unintelligent and unintuitive. I would have honestly wanted to go further but the system is just a joke. I really hope you find peace. You deserve that much ✌🫂
I have Asperger syndrome and I didn’t have a very good time at secondary school. The teachers were supposed to help kids with mental health problems, but they only made it worse. I often speak about problems facing the world and this one teacher would sing Happy by Bruno Mars every time I did because she knew that I couldn’t stand that song! I also have problems listening and whenever I couldn’t do something right, they would tell me to just do what I want, mocking me mercilessly. I honestly despise the school that I went to and I think that in practice, schools like that are meant to segregate mentally troubled kids from so called ‘normal’ kids. But you know what, normal is a lie! Bloody hell, I wish that I had a teacher like Miss J.
It's honestly strange seeing SCPs being actually wholesome Like, you get so used to the bloodshed and the thirst for death and destruction and then you get hit with "cute teacher AI that just wants to make you smarter with no side effects"
Let me tell y'all about the real tear jerker. The fact that so many of us found this to be so wholesome to the point of tears is a condemning thing for our education systems. The fact that we have to imagine and get teary over this scp is a fact that shouldn't exist. Cry because this is our reality.
I think the real thing that made me tear is that miss J is the teacher that teach you what you want not what you need to know like other schools the D class was taught about law because he wanted out of the jail system the kid who was a big idiot just wanted to know about trains. The fact she go out of her way to make sure her students are having fun and resting is so wholesome its like what you imagined what school is like on yoir frist day of school before it became both a prison and hell with ineffective teaching and bullying.
It reminded me of a comedy web show that someone made for Five Nights at Freddy. The robots all saw each other as actual Anthropomorphic Animals and when Freddy got confronted with the truth, he honestly didn’t care. He’s actual line was “for as long as I can remember I only wanted to entertain children and learning that I’m actually a robot built for that express purpose doesn’t change a thing. If anything it gives me more conformation than most people get that I’m doing the right thing.”
@@fist-of-doom487 I actually really like that mindset. My parents once tried on me how my reaction would be to being adopted. I simply asked: „Does it change anything? Then it does not matter.“ It is irrelevant where your origins are, the only thing that counts is who you are and what is important to you.
That last interaction between Zenya and Ms. J had me tear up it was just so heartwarming to me The fact the computer program knows its not normal and only wants to help those who desire it truly speaks to me for some reason
imagine if that scene took place in the future where they mass produce a real life ms j that works on modern computers, and the entire human race became geniuses
I think the inspiration for this SCP is the fact that most people (especially kids) learn better through technology than one on one classes. Educational games are effective in teaching kids due to being both audio and visual media, with sounds and graphics that appeal to kids' minds and are more interesting that kids will remember it. They're also structured in a way where it's easier to memorize and be engaged in the subject. There's fun game activities related to the subject, songs, and simple patterns in the program that a kid can easily pick up, not to mention a reward system that can interest the child to keep learning. A game in general is also more appealing to a child rather than a boring lecture. The game is also more consistent and expertly crafted so that the child learns efficiently, compared to a more messily made lesson by people who are not well versed in appealing to children. Idk how much better I can explain it, but even I learn better through media than irl. Great SCP based on real life situations!
This is the perfect type of SCP that shows the foundation is cold, not cruel. They could've easily fully amnesticized the D Class and continued using him for their testing, but instead they only partially amnesticized him, and allowed him to walk free and pursue a career in Law
I agree with you on that. But at the same time it really depends on the personnel in charge of the SCP in question. Like some researchers are completely monsters while others are like the guy who taught that murder monster how to cook and play music.
Continued from last one: Which in my opinion gives a lot of value to the scp universe since it gives it a degree of realism with all the shifting thoughts and opinions.
Thaumiel Class is a special kind designed for SCP's that can help to contain other SCP's, that's why, despite Miss J being a very positive and life changer SCP, she's Safe Class, her abilities can't help to contain directly other SCP's, and why Anastashesha, a giant Eel that devours victims by erasing memory, but is responsible for creating the Amnestic drugs the Foundation relies so much on, is a Thaumiel Class, despite being a hostile SCP.
@@Emmix_342 well actually theoretically she can help with containment helping discover and teach new alloys to help with containment or just straight up teaching g new ways of containment teaching new arrivals about all of the scp's they need to worry about or just in general knowledge the may need to know
This is so wholesome! While I love the evil and darker side of SCP I sometimes forget how lovely the safe ones can be, something so sweet and innocent and genuinely good can be just as entertaining as the scary ones
My Third grade teacher was named Mrs Johnson and she was every bit as wholesome is this SCP... I'm 40 now seeing this really makes me wish I could have thanked her for all the patients she had with me.... If you're reading this and you have a teacher like this make sure to tell him/her thanks
Why was this so wholesome, i was expecting miss j to be evil and like, teach children the complete opposite of what she should be teaching, but nah, she just straight up wants to help people
There are many Safe class SCPs that do nothing but benefit other's. I forget the numbers but there is a Pizza box with the anomalous effect of providing the exact type of pizza you are hungry for. Or a bell that summons a Butler who does what is asked of him. Most Safe class SCPs have things you are not allowed to do, but they still have lax containment and are open to low-level employees. Even D-Class personnel have access to some of them.
This has got to be my favorite SCP to date. I love learning about things I'm passionate about and I'd be ecstatic to have a teacher like this. There are so many things I'd like to learn that are going to take me ages to nail down and if I had a focused and direct lesson plan that would be able to teach me like this, I'd probably be on the path I'm trying to get myself on now much more quickly.
I'm very sure that everyone who watched this video wishes that they had met Miss J and became a genius. It's also very nice to see a harmless and very helpful SCP.
I have to admit, in a world full of reality extremely deadly anomalies, the wholesome ones are my favorite. Probably because there is so few of them that they have a greater impact.
Elementary teacher: Alright class, today we'll be learning about division. Kid who learned quantum mechanics from scp 5094: I'm 4 parallel universes ahead of you!
Finally, an SCP other than The Water Nymph that doesn't kill or hurt people. They just want what's best for you. Edit: Guys, I know of the other harmless ones now. Please stop lmao.

Miss J sounds like a sweet girl. I honestly couldn't help but tear up a bit when hearing that everyone whose lessons ended became sad. Also a reunion between a Foundation researcher and the SCP who taught her as a child got me right in the heart.
wholesome SCPs are rare, but it is very nice to come across them. a separate playlist for this would be nice. 054 and 085 were also kind and happy beings.
What a wholesome SCP. SCPs like this one are the reason why i love these stories so much. It doesn't always have to be horrible or dangerous. Sometimes, anomalies can just be things that people wish they had in their lives.
The Foundation needs to do everything they can to keep the GOC away from this precious lady. At all cost. I would sacrifice an entire Foundation personnel at a containment site if it means Ms. J is protected. Her value is literally immeasurable.

I feel like Koro sensei would teach miss J how to assassinate him cause you know, he wanted to be killed and if this is for a different universe where Koro sensei doesn't wanna be killed then yeah they would be a great team, Koro sensei the main teacher and miss J the assistant
Was also unique that despite the having his memory wiped after the lesson, he retained all of the knowledge to study law. The only anomalous thing about Mrs. J was how quickly she turned someone of any educational standing into certified geniuses in not even a week. I also believe this is the first safe SCP in a while that actually not only saved humans, but bettered them. Color me impressed.
If Miss J was real, I would've probably installed it as soon as possible and just learn every subject at school so I'd teach the class instead of my teacher.
@@adamchristopher6917 I’m sure she would be a bit nicer so something like: yes now could you please keep quiet. This could save everyone’s life and your’s too.
Here's a more interesting question. What exactly makes a monster, a monster? How do you define it? Diet that is dangerous to your species? Looks? Personality? That is determined by your mind specifically, or even of a group. Not everything has an answer and we shouldn't always question it either. If we didn't have so much knowledge and some people lots of power, then the world would be a much better place.
@@andyvassileff6592 in my opinion a monster is something that does not care about the things around it and will do what ever it can to stay alive/where it is

This SCP weirdly enough reminds me of my arabic teacher, the guy spoke 16 languages and yet actually made speaking and learning Arabic, despite being an English speaker, one of the most fun things I’ve ever done. He even encouraged me to go and learn Chinese at some point. He’s genuinely one of the best teachers I’ve ever had, if not the best I’ve ever had.

One of the first SCPs I read the files about, my gosh I'm jealous that Miss J and/or the game aren't real - I love how this SCP is an example of "just because it's an anomoly doesn't mean it's harmful" and man, imagine how lucky one would be to have had access to this SCP in the SCP universe
"Please let this be a normal field trip!" "With the friends, no!" *Commits multiple felonies and vehicular manslaughter while music plays in the background*
Imagine getting her to teach teachers! You could effectively duplicate her in a non cloning way. Without also revealing anonymously. Just set it up as a special teachers extension school for exceptional teacher or even “randomly” selected teachers
to make this work, you probably need to selective apply amnestics to the teachers, and you also need to find teachers who are actually good at teaching, even if they know everything they need to know, and more, if they suck at teaching then they cant teach it properly.
As an actual teacher I’d say it would have to be specific teachers - those who ACTUALLY care about the children and are passionate about the career. Trust me when I say we exist…but it’s more common people enter it for wrong reasons (summers off, work day ends at 2-3 pm, etc) or as “something to do while they do their masters”. Which is probably why a lot of people have had teachers who don’t care. Ms J would make an amazing developmental teaching course :)
Seems like "Miss J" is less of an anomaly and more like an accidently created "Specialized Artificial Intelligence". Not a "True Intelligence"/"General Intelligence" like a Human being, but an extremely flexible and even creative program that specializes at a specific task, in this case Teaching. We use millions of such programs already today, some very primitive, some extremely complex like the UA-cam Censorship Algorithms and the Google Search Algorithms. O.o
But where does she get all the information from? Does she generate it herself based on spyware or does she just get it everywhere from "anomalous means"? Like she could just give scientists the Theory of Everything in one year
It's so rare to get a truly wholesome SCP with no hidden bad intent, especially one that the foundation is apparently aiming to use to actually better mankind instead of just locking it away :D
I want Miss J to be real. School, (online school as well), would be way better with her as a teacher. It seem like having her as a teacher would actually be fun and enjoyable. Wholesome teacher SCP needs to be protected
Keep in mind not ALL safe class scps are wholesome, safe just means that it requires little to no resources at all at containing and negating it's anomalous properties
As someone with adhd and other issues, school was so hard for me and the amounts of times ive wanted to drop out is insane, miss j kind fo reminds me of my now home school teacher who is very patient and shows genuine fondness of her students. I'm very curious to know if Miss J would be able to teach dangerous knowledge like how to build an atomic bomb for instance. Or even crazier, if she is able to teach things that not even the Foundation has answers to pertaining to other SCPs.
It seems like she is less focused on the specifics of how to make things and more overall expertise in a subject or field. Instead of just giving you all the steps, she'd give you a course of nuclear fusion and physics. You could use such knowledge to create an atom bomb, but there are other applications as well.

Yep
@@DrNinja7 She could help replace these jobs by teaching them new professions
Seeing how great of a teacher Ms J is makes me feel sad that we don't have teachers like that in real life.
And now I'm starting to remember about how terrible the education system of today really is and how good or even DECENT teachers are hard to come by.
Not all teachers start out horrid, its the stress and lack of a good salary that turns them into what you're familiar with
Yes it's a shame that ms j an't in this reality but if not having a super teacher means not having an almost unkillable lizard or a statue that snapps necks in a blink of the eyes or a sadist with portal powers and ect.
(so the only way you're ever getting it out is destructively)
while back in the day. they used galvanised steel bolts. and these do NOT have that issue. (just forgotten knowledge or something)
when i went to school and learned how to use a lathe.
they gave me a block of tool steel. pointed me to a grinding wheel and said. go make your tools.
I'm trying okay. I will never be ms J, but that won't stop me from striving to be as close to her as humanly possible

We all encountered a “Miss J” at some point in our lives. Those teachers should be praised for teaching us for how far we had come
You are right those gems are so rare and few. In my entire life I just know 3 such teachers and I didn't had interaction with even one.
Mrs. Carpenter, 5th grade. The only teacher to go to bat for me against other faculty.
Mrs. Aidt in 11th Grade for Algebra 1 & 2 Never forget. She took the time to explain the most difficult formulas and showed the class how the formulas worked in real life. Opened my eyes to what numbers can really do. Minored in Mathematics because of her. She was my foundation and building blocks to how far I’ve come in Mathematics

#NeverForget
Miss Marshall 4th grade, she helped me not only come out of my protective shell but also helped me unwind from my fight or flight response when dealing with the other problematic kids in my class after I had moved away from a school that I got in fights a lot in.
My man, Mr/Ms. Obvious has cited the wisdom of the week.
They _let a D-Class go_ to have a _normal, happy life._ Just wow... that's so damn heartwarming...
@Olivia Disko surround the word/ phrase with _
Hey, atleast the "Ethics Committee" done something for once
Well, most D-Class are people that wouldn't normally have lives. Homeless and many criminals. Giving someone the chance at a better life, when they no longer need them, seems like a proper send off. D-Class are not killed when they are no longer needed.
“The scp foundation is cold, not cruel”
It's honestly strange seeing SCPs being actually wholesome

The robots all saw each other as actual Anthropomorphic Animals and when Freddy got confronted with the truth, he honestly didn’t care. He’s actual line was “for as long as I can remember I only wanted to entertain children and learning that I’m actually a robot built for that express purpose doesn’t change a thing. If anything it gives me more conformation than most people get that I’m doing the right thing.”
@@fist-of-doom487 I actually really like that mindset. My parents once tried on me how my reaction would be to being adopted. I simply asked: „Does it change anything?
There is different canon so the Foundation can be both cruel and cold depending on which universe.
Oh no, the Foundation is definetly cruel. This is just one of some exceptions.

@DANIEL ALVAREZ FERNANDEZ I did. I like that one too.

Imagine getting her to teach teachers! You could effectively duplicate her in a non cloning way. Without also revealing anonymously. Just set it up as a special teachers extension school for exceptional teacher or even “randomly” selected teachers
05 council gonna be dead after this
@@dejesusramirezgeovanni3538 is that such a bad thing?
to make this work, you probably need to selective apply amnestics to the teachers, and you also need to find teachers who are actually good at teaching, even if they know everything they need to know, and more, if they suck at teaching then they cant teach it properly.
@@12inter88 what would happen if Miss J was asked to teach those teachers how to be good teachers? Now that would be great.
this is absolutely my favorite SCP it is very touching and sweet how much Ms J cares for her students and how happy she makes everyone.
I thought she was going to react violently to being asked what she is but she just genuinely wants to help people learn.
Of course. That was what she was programmed to do.

I'm very curious to know if Miss J would be able to teach dangerous knowledge like how to build an atomic bomb for instance.
Or even crazier, if she is able to teach things that not even the Foundation has answers to pertaining to other SCPs.
It seems like she is less focused on the specifics of how to make things and more overall expertise in a subject or field. Instead of just giving you all the steps, she'd give you a course of nuclear fusion and physics. You could use such knowledge to create an atom bomb, but there are other applications as well.
