I remember buying my PC and telling myself. I'll go for the cheaper card now and upgrade in 2-3 years when the next series comes out, then I'll get a 2070/2080 at a super reasonable price....... nope. Not a chance.
to be honest the 2080ti aged well. Came out by the end of 2018 for 1200 bucks, officially reigned in its price class for 2 years till end of 2020 when the 3070 could achieve the same for less than half the price, BUT since that card was unavailble for MRSP until fall 2022, and since the 3080's price didn't even drop down to 2080ti MSRP until spring 2022, the 2080ti's reign lasted for another 1.75 years. So 3.75 years in total vs. the 3070, 3.25 years vs. the 3080, that is longer than the usual nvidia cycle where moore's law would outdate a price/value within 1 year of purchase.
@@cpypcy XD...that card will be my first AMD. and ill buy zen 3 for that. im done with nvidia and intel. I tried to love very much and look for pluses, but now, as the owner of 980ti 6gb, I finally decided to give my heart to AMD.
I have a GTX970 and held of upgrading to the 3000 series but for a while now GPU's at MSRP is like finding a unicorn or some other mythical creature. We only hear about it in stories. 2080Ti owners are better off in the end. How the turns have tabled.
Going to be interesting to see what the 3080ti brings to the table none of us can eat at. Maybe next year some time I'll be able to actually be happy to pull the trigger on something that truly dumpsters my 1080ti.
as 2080ti and 3090 owner, i am happy since that’s something to upgrade to. also looking at ebay pricing i might make some money by selling my 2080ti. the gpu used market just blow my mind
1 year later 2080 ti owners are in the best position of all the graphics cards owners. Bought it at a good price, posses a GPU, and can sell it at astronomic prices. Who is laughing now?
I just have a regular 2080, feels like the 30 series just came out crazy that we’re already in the 40s. Never buying pc specs fresh as they come out again, the price always drops eventually and the games can only get somewhat more demanding but not by as much as people think.
And me here with a GTX 1660 Ti my previous PC had a GeForce 920m so to be honest this was a major jump for me and I see others complaining about the newer GPUs we should be grateful with what we have to be honest
Great thing about being a 1070 owner and a game developer? If it runs at 60fps on my PC, it'll run at 60fps on yours. I forgot to mention my processor is 10 years old.
And I got a ridiculously cheap 1060 (refurbished, by the way). Almost 4 years and still going strong. I don't understand the bloody idiots who pays hundreds of dollars for a single GPU, they act like whales (exactly like the poor addicts who get lost in smartphone games)

Here before it will get recommended to everyone
Yup
U my guy are spittin facts
Same
Yeah after 8 years
And away we go
I remember buying my PC and telling myself. I'll go for the cheaper card now and upgrade in 2-3 years when the next series comes out, then I'll get a 2070/2080 at a super reasonable price....... nope. Not a chance.
Let me guess are you stuck with an GTX660?
Ah yes, 499$. 2 years later, when used.
nah, they skyrocketting from 499 to 1100
0:04 Look at the fans then look at the text. You can see the fans moving at the corner of your eye.
the guy is talking about rtx 3070 while you are showing benchmarks of rtx 3080
The "where'd he go" fits so well considering we don't have cards still LOL!
to be honest the 2080ti aged well.
I only have integrated graphics chip, be grateful for what you have
and there's me, a GTX 1660 owner just happily enjoying my 110 fps in doom eternal without a care in the world
Good bro just like me
no dlss no rtx... you are no differnt than AMD....
sameee dude same
110fps on ultra? Is it that powerful or is Doom Eternal so easy to run?
And there’s me, an intel Integrated graphics owner happily enjoying 10 FPS in mine craft trial without a care in the world
1080 ti owners are older and wiser, they have seen the war
I'm still watching it happen with the 40 series out. It's still good enough after all this time. Extremely happy with 6 years ago me.
As a 1080 ti owner, I feel like Rocket was an accurate representation of me. - Cant wait for my 3080!
Laughs in AMD 6800XT :D
@@cpypcy XD...that card will be my first AMD. and ill buy zen 3 for that. im done with nvidia and intel. I tried to love very much and look for pluses, but now, as the owner of 980ti 6gb, I finally decided to give my heart to AMD.
Tell me you got robbed without telling me you got robbed
I have a GTX970 and held of upgrading to the 3000 series but for a while now GPU's at MSRP is like finding a unicorn or some other mythical creature. We only hear about it in stories. 2080Ti owners are better off in the end. How the turns have tabled.
Hi. I have a GTX 980. Not even the Ti variant. I am happy to be sorry to announce that I am the successful failure here.
You're a hero in my book. You understand that you don't have to upgrade every second, just so you can have 600 FPS in your already 300 FPS CS:GO
Turns out 2080 Ti owners got the last laugh, we had graphics cards when everybody else didn't! xD
It's been 2 and half years and still 3070 isn't 499
A used 2080 Ti cost $350. It is a perfect card.
My GF is 1080ti owner, and I can confirm that she looks literally the same.
980ti still running strong here
Bro, 1080 ti served me from the day they made it, all through covid, finally resting in peace early 2024. 🫡
Going to be interesting to see what the 3080ti brings to the table none of us can eat at. Maybe next year some time I'll be able to actually be happy to pull the trigger on something that truly dumpsters my 1080ti.
This aged like milk
His latest upload *2080Ti owners now *🔥😂fukkin true ain't it...
as 2080ti and 3090 owner, i am happy since that’s something to upgrade to. also looking at ebay pricing i might make some money by selling my 2080ti. the gpu used market just blow my mind
How did that work out for you?
@@stevy2 planning to give my 3090 to a friend or a family member and time to upgrade to a 4090
Imagine the meme when 4000 series launch.
Imagine the meme when even mid tier 50 series card kills the 4090 :))
the part $700 just turns into dust always gets me
Now make an RTX 2080 ti reacts to RTX 3080 stock
Now actually 3080 Ti reacts to RTX 4090 Benchmarks
1 year later 2080 ti owners are in the best position of all the graphics cards owners. Bought it at a good price, posses a GPU, and can sell it at astronomic prices. Who is laughing now?
bought a 3080 for 1200 and can sell it if i wanted for even more aswell so.
Dude, I'm literally the 1080 happy owner.
Best pc component buy I've ever made. :)
Now they're the ones who's laughing because they actually have a graphics cards, a high-end one too.
im glad it makes huge improvements, im just sad that noone can buy one.
Shows rtx 3070 first 10 seconds and claims it to be faster than 2080
Shows rtx 3080 for the rest of the video
I just have a regular 2080, feels like the 30 series just came out crazy that we’re already in the 40s. Never buying pc specs fresh as they come out again, the price always drops eventually and the games can only get somewhat more demanding but not by as much as people think.
50 series on the way yeah chasing the latest tech is now like buying the new iphone every year. Games aren’t really catching up with the tech as well
Now do "2080ti reacts to 3080 prices and stock"
true xD
now 3080 cost like $400 in the used market
Whelp, this did not age well
This video aged about as well as milk over the past 2 years.
1080ti Assemble, literally we've been going so long we're falling apart.
Two years and one generation later, the 3070 is still 700€ in Finland. Fml, why cant we have nice things?
Because you are a nvidia purchasing npc
3070 in my country cost like $260-$270 in the used market right now.
Me with my good old 1660 SUPER,,we are doing good, no need for RTX. (For now)
I love my 2080ti now, I bought it when the prices dropped. Thank you 3080 users.
Same such a W
That didn't age well. Yikes.
This aged badly
it's been 7 months and half the world is stil waiting
Well these comments aged poorly
RTX2080Ti is still a beast and we all know it
True
This has to be one of the best 3000 memes I've ever seen
And me here with a GTX 1660 Ti my previous PC had a GeForce 920m so to be honest this was a major jump for me and I see others complaining about the newer GPUs we should be grateful with what we have to be honest
Great thing about being a 1070 owner and a game developer?
If it runs at 60fps on my PC, it'll run at 60fps on yours.
I forgot to mention my processor is 10 years old.
A moment of silence for all those
I've got a 1070, this meme war is too funny🤣
1070 2060 2080.. all laptop... don't mind.. since one pc taken more space than 4 of my laptop...
Me to, just remove the first zero and swap 1 and 7
@@johnt3606 oof 710?
And I got a ridiculously cheap 1060 (refurbished, by the way). Almost 4 years and still going strong. I don't understand the bloody idiots who pays hundreds of dollars for a single GPU, they act like whales (exactly like the poor addicts who get lost in smartphone games)
I mean yeah I was hella sad once I seen the 30 series cards and yes I’m a 2080 it owner but it don’t matter I’m gonna jus gonna buy the 3090 once it comes out🤷🏽♂️
You are probably rich we are not
Anshul Verma I’m not rich but I grind really hard to get as much money as I can via competitive gaming I’m a complete player in Fortnite cs
@@neoh6236 Put your mom's credit card down before you hurt yourself.
Marvin - lmao bro I work wym?
@@neoh6236 3090 for fortnite, 1080p aswell? Just LOL
I bought my 2080ti at launch and it still gives me like 50 fps @4k high. Very good purchase
Yup still have my 1070 ti. In 2022 and will for a years to come
