Me, "I hope they end up visiting A... of course they do, it's the first place they visit." I keep being told how good some of those places are and I have an acquaintance who used to run one of the Omnipollo bars so a trip to Stockholm is absolutely on the cards. Btw, the couple who own Newbarns are good friends with the main people at Omnipollo, they just released two collabs, Complicated Dark Beer imperial stout and Emma's Winter Mild. Thank you for also showing the amazing sounding coffee shop. There are quite a few speciality coffee shops here in Edinburgh these days and I've been getting into it over the last year or two. I also watched a Short from you where you were talking about speciality single origin chocolate. My fiancee doesn't drink and doesn't like coffee but recently she discovered she absolutely loves single origin chocolate so both of us have been getting into that together. If you ever come back to Edinburgh for a video I can happily recommend The Maytree, a chocolate cafe about 200 m from the Hanging bat or cloisters.
Thanks for your comment! We absolutely love the beer scene in Stockholm-so many great places to explore. It's so cool you know someone who ran one of the Omnipollo bars! We actually know Freddie from Newbarns through a mutual friend and recently got to try Emma's Winter Mild here in Bulgaria (Where we are at the moment, Omnipollo is really popular here too). We're heading to Scotland in a couple of days and will be based in Glasgow, but we’ll be in Edinburgh for Hogmanay-thanks for the tip about The Maytree, it sounds amazing, and we’ll definitely check it out. Single-origin chocolate is such a fantastic shared passion, by the way-let us know if you and your fiancée discover any new favorites! Do you have any recommendations for Glasgow? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
Just in time! I’m headed to Stockholm next year 😊
Awesome! Make sure to go in the Summer if you can, it is the best escape from too hot weather indeed 😅
