Having both this week I’m returning the kemper player and keeping the ToneX one with an HX stomp for effects. Soooooo much more flexible and better sounding ❤
He did the aerial's riff again!!! Keep shredding nick
Awesome!!!🌟🌟💯💯
This is sickkkk
I have one but I’ve just been using the software in my DAW and not even using the pedal. What I’m wondering is I know. It can store 20 presets, but does it store the custom IRs that I use in my presets?
🔥
What does the pedal play through though? A PA? Assume would sound very different if passing through an amp?
Where can I find the clean Mesa Boogie Mark V MARKLEAN capture!?!?
An app based would be nice to adjust parameters
When did I fall asleep on IK Multimedia suddenly breaking into making hardware?
I’ve been using iRigs for probably a decade at least!
can we control it with a smartphone or only with a computer?
Hey, Chassjjjj5932! IK is currently only listing compatibility for Mac and PC with the ToneX SE software, so at least for the time being it cannot be controlled with a smartphone.
I hope this helps, feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

Would have been a home run with MIDI capability 😢 - so bummed it doesn’t have MiDI
😮
but..."over 25,000" isn't exact 🤔
no midi or mobile app.
USB C
Yeah maybe it can do midi over usb
Yeah i was hoping they would make a midi switches for presets @@1Guug
Wow! Looks very Mooer to me! 😅😅😅
I really don't get these "amp substitute" reviews where the pedal is used alone. I mean, good for those 10% of us who play straight though an amp. But please, humor us, show us how it plays with a pedalboard.
Agreed, how does this take an overdrive? Does it have headroom? The world may never know....
I also don’t really get the point of these devices, aside from its ability to let you use your standard rig or model, but still through your rig? But you’d need a neutral sounding rig to get reliable modeling? I guess I don’t get it. But I’m old. Ha.
I agree
@@chairmankaga101 as someone who prefers using a tube amp, usually I find myself playing places too small to be able to turn it up loud enough for an SM57 to pick up the sound. That's why I'd need an amp substitute to run my pedalboard through.
@@chairmankaga101 lots of venues (cruises, churches, misc club venues) are silent stages now and use in ears so there has been an increased demand for these modelers. Nothing beats a mic'd tube amp imo but these are great tools for the guys that need them
1's and 0's, folks. That's all.
Yes, agreed. However, I have, sitting right next to me, a Bugera 333XL 212 120watt valve amp and a Boss Katana 100w head (solid state)/Yamaha THRC112 cab. I no longer play professionally. Guess which amp now gets played the most? Probably going to sell the Bugera and buy the Boss Katana Go (maybe TonexOne) so as to be able to play late at night without p!ssing off the wife and kids.
But, yes, in a side by side comparison, the Bugera kicked the ever lovin' cr@p out of the Boss in terms of volume AND tone, not weight and portability, though. And would the average punter be able to spot the difference in a live mix? Nah...
Good thing about all these new shinies appearing on the market is that there'll no doubt be more and more folc letting go of their valve amps. Win/win...
Musicians who buy this probably drive electric cars.
Jokes on you. I don't even have a car!
And, believe climate change is real...🤔
@@BlackReaperMetal hahahaha
car drives itself.
All of these things are too smart for me.
The hair dye isnt working.
I like the idea of this pedal, but it has a lot of digital artifacting especially as the sound decays.
Nothing beats the "real" gear.
