    Just remember kids an item with an (*) is extremely common. So you can have a lore and spell familiar for 45pts. +1 spell that you all choose is dope

    I had a good game with a Daemon Prince with MoS, wings, Armour of Meteoric Iron, Biting Blade, Extra Arm, Healing Potion and Spell Familiar. Vulnerable to certain things like cannons, demi-griphs but a lot of utility packed into to one model.

    I had CWs with GWs 10 wide with a wizard charge a steam tank with deamonic spell for +1A, +1S, +1AP and I had the frenzy banner.... Dead steam tank in one go. That was fun.

    Enchanting Aura and Twisted Puppet are 2 of the best items in TOW.

    Love the Old World Content! More, more! (Especially Beastmen and Dwarves.) For WoC, check out a Tzeentch Sorceror Lord in a tzeentch unit of 10 or more and the Skull of Katam. Plus 6 to cast! Level 1s at +3! A DP within 3” could be +5. Cheese.

    Level 4 chaos sorcerer with spell familiar - you don't need to choose when you get five out of six spells...
    Great item.

      There is still a 1/6 chance of missing out the spell you really want. Unlike 8ed in TOW you reroll duplicates.

    Can you put a Daemon Prince in a unit of marauders? Aren’t you stopped by the Warp-spawned trait?

    Armor of dargan is a must on a demon prince. Also saves you having to buy him heavy armor.
    Brazen Collar is definitely made for every champion, if you don’t have the puppet I guess.

      Models whose troop type is infantry or cavalry only. Dp is Monstrous Infantry.

    Gaze of the Gods is very strong. 5pt reroll should be on everyone at least once.

    My killer combo is Exl Champ with Ench Aura with MoS in a unit of Halberds with MoS with the Frenzy banner. I only play MoS theme wise but does seem to be a good mark.
    My rule of thumb for eye of the gods is don't roll on turn 1 and if have favour roll from turn 2. Delays the impact of potential stupidity.

      ​@@IronDuke_xX Hope it pays for you! I stick with normal warriors as they have more bodies but will make attacking output of chosen crazy! Make sure to screen a skirmishing mauraders/dogs to contain the Frenzy.

      good idea! I may build a similar unit! Callum obv likes the great weapons but the halberds is a nice combo to be having a good I when being charged or not (and if you lose a combat and FBIGO a small amount you may strike first next I suppose!)

    I definitely think the common magic weapons and armour from the main rulebook key in far better for Warriors of Chaos, and giving away the standard ensorcelled weapons is a tough ask.
    Does magic resistance effect friendly spells i.e. enchantment spells?

    I've been scouring YT daily for any WoC deep dives and tactics so this video was extremely helpful. Thank you so much. I've always liked purple and blue flavor warriors of chaos best but feel Undivided is the best jack of all trades Mark. The cost of marking units really adds up across the army so for me an Undivided army with a handful of specifically marked units is the way to go. I'd love to see a video about optimizing screens, as they seem essential for this army.

    if you are in combat and give ground you dont get the +2 strength again for flails, its considered the same combat

    yesterday my demon prince worth 390 pts rolled 1 on gaze of gods and re-rolled it to 1. After that, in subsequent turn, when he flew to the side of enemy big infantry unit he of course did not pass stupidity...

    Those great wespin wont hut furst. The enemy has +3 initiativ for charging, so they will have a total of 4 I, after strike last. BUT halbards with slanesh! You go!

      Hey mate! I think Callum was referencing when you yourself are charging with great weapons rather than the other way around (may have misspoke and said it backwards at a point maybe?)

    Guys if i play my wizard of tzeentch with demonology missile spell and tzeentch spell can I cast both with my single wizard during shooting phase?;)

      Yes you can attack with more than one missile spell per turn, but you can only take a signature of picked magic lore or chaos mark lore. If you went battle magic you can get fireball, Tzeentch and and if you added a ruby ring of ruin you can a 2nd fireball as well.

      I believe the demonic missile soell is a signature spell as the other missile spell?

      hey mate: its what @andertonslundtoft2315 said, you cant take 2 signatures at a time, you could use battle magic and try to roll fireball to do it I believe (oh reading calbions9164 's comment he's said what I was gonna say, good shout!, ruby ring for potentially 6d6 magic missiles... savage)

    It needs ztomp attacks - and terror, come on! The model is made for thide rules, and it has the point for it.

      YES! Terror, 5 wounds, Indomitable 2 like other elite unstable things are, WS8 because it has to be more than the normal lord. Being blessed with daemonhood might be a downgrade from a normal lord in this edition.

    I don't think the Enchanting Aura Mark of Slaanesh combo works with great weapons. Since strikes last specifies that the unit is set to I1 before modifiers a charging unit will probably be I4. It would let marauders fight at the same time or could be good to let dual hand weapon warriors hit first.

      Works when charging though! But 100% agree its awesome to stop a charging unit striking before a unit of warriors with swords and boards etc

      not a bad shout at all really, maybe on chosen so you get those extra attacks to equalise the output from normal GW warriors?!

      Agreed, the combo does not really add much value. With Enchanting Aura if you charge at least 1" you are going at I2, so before I1 (unless they have Elven Reflexes/Spears, in which case you may need to charge 3" - but are you really worried by Elven spearmen?). If you are being charged your opponent is going first unless they only charge 1". So the Mark of Slaanesh only makes a difference in some limited scenarios. For a combat character I think Mark of Nurgle would be optimal unless you are happy with Frenzy's downsides.
      On its own Mark of Slaanesh doesn't help much either as its first turn of combat only, so someone is charging. So if you've both got GW then its still really whoever is charging goes first. On Elven Spearmen being I6 when receiving the charge means you are going before or simultaneously with a lot of enemies. Warriors are I4, so if you go with Additional Hand Weapons or Halberds maybe being I5 when receiving the charge or I8 when charging will help in some instances. Personally I'd prefer Mark of Nurgle reducing incoming damage and GWs to maximise damage output.

      Yes mate! Its basically Monsterous characters can join normal units but non monstrous cant join monstrous units (I imagine it as a daemon can take care around smaller followers but a unit of ogres are too caught up to mind not crushing a human sized character)

      Warp spawned I think prevents them from joining units

    Gaze of the Gods should only go off when you win a challenge though.. army wide constant exponential buffs seems too good

    Just to say, my great unclean one is a wizard, who normally takes spells he can cast in combat, and you won't be willing him in one turn.

      Well, I'malso thinking, any of the other greater daemons except khorne, then if the Tomb kings put there big caster on the dragon (instead of the king, why!) Then maybe any wizard on a good mount comes into it. But for the norm not very good.

      True enough: as Callum says there will be exceptions to the points there and to spec into a weapon thats "useful" against a couple of models I still dont know the worth

    I think the Chaos Runesword is a good choice for Exalted champions or Sorcerer Lords. Gives them that WS, S and I boost that help their stats. If they get a combo with Daemonic vigour or eye of the gods then the can be quite killy. Particular Sorc Lords in smaller games where they're less likely to fight really hard characters.
