- The recent STALKER 2 trailer has been released showing some significant downgrades in not only visual quality, but performance as well. I have some concerns about the launch, which has been delayed until Q1 2024 and I want to talk about it.

I have some concerns, but I REALLY hope GSC can pull off a great launch with Stalker 2. What do you guys think? Let me know down below!👇
Stalker 2 Trailer: ua-cam.com/video/bcDHClWRHd8/v-deo.html
I'm really skeptical about this. Only thing we have been getting is trailer, delay, trailer delay, trailer, delay over and over again. And I say this as a stalker fan: my expectations are rock bottom, just so I can't get disappointed. From what it looks like it looks like stalker, although vastly different.
What annoys me the most is that there isn't much community transparency. No QnAs, no dev talks, no 10 min uninterupted gameplay, and that just before release. What?
Really don't mind a graphic downgrade as long as the game is super fun, immersive, and butter smooth
@@Skikoplwanna talk about rock bottom expectations, let's talk about halo infinite lol
@@Skikopl well you have to understand the studio's situation and what they've gone through... don't be arrogant
Hate to say it, but it would probably be best if this game would be delayed at least until 2025..... After all we have seen from the games industry in the last decade, not to mention the fact that it is currently developed in an active warzone.
Stalker without game breaking bugs isn't a true Stalker game
or fps in 500-1000 range
True, I remember playing clear sky back in 2009. There were crashes, some fps drops etc, but I still enjoyed the game. The xray engine that they used was incredibly bad aswell, I am surprised modders have been able to make alot of great content on the last games. Unreal engine is far better and I have full confidence this game will be optimized better than the last games at launch
😁😁👍
Graphics are the least important for a game like STALKER. The original games looked like trash compared to the competition (Halo, Bioshock, etc.) Give an ugly game but give me a STALKER game.
@@gerardotejada2531I think it looks good
Don’t rush this please. My biggest concern is they’ll “leave it to the modders”. November 2024 won’t kill anyone.
November would not be nearly enough time. They have spent years making all these assets, they would need years more to redo all of them in superior quality.
Works for Bethesda.
Might kill the developers in Ukraine tho
@user-ot8xn9dh6m They aren't in Ukraine anymore at least the majority of the team isn't, but they already lost one member from fighting in the war.
Stalker modders have kept the games thriving, and even the original trilogy can be played with as many QOL mods, visual upgrades, and content addons as you can think. Although the Stalker modding scene is very impressive, and will no doubt improve greatly upon Stalker 2, it would obviously be preferable for it to release in a state that meets a high standard. I am kind of doubting it will though. Would just be awesome if Stalker 2 requires very little QOL mods until some paradigm changes around FPS.
I am at the point where I don't care how long a game is delayed as long as they can actually deliver a final product that looks like their trailers.
Same.
Without it being Live Service or play like an Alpha/Beta.
true, judge game at realese. trailers hype and speculations are all pointless these days anyway.
Graphics are the least important for a game like STALKER. The original games looked like trash compared to the competition (Halo, Bioshock, etc.) Give an ugly game but give me a STALKER game.
@@gerardotejada2531 oh did it? Stalker was one of the nicest looking games back then, with all the techincal features XRay provided. STALKER 2 is just made by another team, on another engine and without old inspirators, only Grigorovich who is more of manager than a game developer.
The honesty shown in trailers cannot go unnoticed. Games nowadays can really fool people into expecting things that aren't real. A trailer that look worse visually is better than a fake-heavily touched up ones imo.
Yeah true I'm so sick of game engine footage
its GSC after all. idk why you believed them.
As long as gameplay, atmosphere, replay value and mod support is really good, i honestly don't care about graphics. We had enough graphically awesome but broken and unfinished as hell games for the past 5 - 7 years. I couldn't care less if a game actually looks like a game but is a unforgettable experience.
Except they already fooled people to begin with.
Imagine if this is heavily-touched up :P
Most important factors for STALKER:
- Writing must be engaging
- Guns need to feel and sound great.
- Mutants interactions must feel engaging.
- Atmosphere must be on point
- Environment and levels must look fine and sound
NGL some of the shots in the trailer look cheap like something out of stalker ripoff like among the wolves or survirium
@@Dark_Brandon_2024 I'm also not too thrilled with the trailer. Fortunately mods can turn that all around. I can't wait for the weapons sounds mod.
@@Dark_Brandon_2024 I think that kind of falls under the Atmosphere point.
@@Dark_Brandon_2024what about gamma my boy
yep that´s why we play gamma or anomaly stalker 2 looks like trash in comparison to what the modders have made for FREE on their spare time
You can tell how long people have played stalker by the priorities they've got, even this "downgrade" is a dream for people waiting the last 11 years for a new game and I'd even say im glad it looks like this because now it actually looks like a believable game.
This, i couldn't care less about the "downgrade", it looks miles better than cop.
I've been playing since Stalker 1. Maybe my memory is tricking me a little, but this barely looks better than Pripyat.
A believable game running at 30FPS and struggling, yes.
@@YourPalHDee i can understand the feeling though because its a part of the nostalgia that does that to us, but id just like everyone to look at completely unmodded stalker games and remember how we used to really have it. I also know a subset of these people losing their minds have only ever played the big mods like GAMMA or anomaly and can't really understand how much better this is right off the bat just plain stock.
Its not an excuse really, they had 11 years and a Microsoft budget, it should have been much better. It looks like Pripyat with sharpening and better lighting, even the animations are stiff asf.
GSC moved their employees to the Czech Republic last year, so I don't know if people can keep using the war as an excuse if the game releases with poor performance and game-breaking bugs.
They moved their office, the male population is forbidden to leave Ukraine, and the main backbone of the company is located there!
@@andrewkan4619 Czech journalist Pavel Dobrovsky stated that developers involved with creating Stalker 2 were also moved to the Czech Republic. Also, the rule is a blanket prohibition. You can get permission from the government to leave. And I don't doubt the Ukrainian government would allow developers involved in one of Ukraine's most prominent video games special permission to leave.
Well, we all know that once you are out of the country the war is nowhere in your mind and you can complete your work stress free.... I'm sure the first thing waking up in the morning for them is thinking if @shungitelover will be satisfied with their games.

Dude if you don't like the older Stalker games you will not like Stalker 2 LOL
I personally think the textures on the monsters are a bit more noticeable and could use more fidelity.
But overall the textures on the environments look great other than the bubbles. They also seem to have a lot less VFX compared to earlier showcases.
But honestly they really need to just make sure the performance and frame rate is good at launch.
ever seen bubbles in real life? they look exactly as how they are supposed to
Lighting and reflections are nowhere near as good as the trailer, and textures are very ps4 like compared to the photorealistic trailer.
@@freppie_ yeah but they look weird idk how to explain normally some bubbles when they split up they split up into several different sizes and shapes.
The bubbles in that one part all looked to be the same size and shape. On top of that the lighting would also look weird around it yet they look to have no effects on the lighting shining through.
Makes it look more artificial that in it should.
@@freppie_ again I know we are essentially nitpicking bubbles of all things but they do look weird. I don’t even think the bubbles have slight shadows or anything. They really look out of place.
@@melcorchancla9431 I agree but I do think it was with RTX on that made them look as good as they did. And I honestly wasn’t expecting it to look that damn good. I just think the textures on the monsters are far more noticeable like their faces look incredibly unfinished.
That and they all seem to look really darkened out. Like as if they’re not really there.
The OG 2021 Trailer wasnt even gameplay, it was a premade Cinematic. So of course it looks better. This isnt anything new.
I want the game to be fun and playable. I hope it turns out as such. Visuals I can't say much about. I play even the oldest of games like Outbreak before Resident Evil was a thing and even the old Res games an such. They don't have the best graphics, it's because they were fun. So, I hope they get a nice smooth running game.
Imo gameplay is always key. I didn't see any lack of gameplay features and events in the game, among other polishes. I could care less if some frames get lost. Honestly there's sometimes when I think the newer generations deserve nothing more than 30fps so they get some damn perspective.
Either way, I'm not seeing enough "downgrade" to merit any worry. Frankly I'm just happy to see tons of gameplay mechanics.
Sorry, but 60 fps is the bare minimum to be. 30 fps just looks awful
True I am with you.Its true at least people need 60fps.But gameplay also a major factor.
30 fps hurts my eyes after being used to at least 60 for so long
Im positive the games gonna run at least 30+ frames, my only concern is things like blowouts and huge firefights, especially with how good they look. So im expecting 60 frames with some dips in performance every now and then.
People expecting 60fps in 2023 on newer generation console and on modern pcs is not asking for too much. It should be mandatory
I usually don’t care about downgrades but this one was very noticeable. There is something wrong with the lighting, maybe lack of ambient occlusion, I don’t know but it looks flat.
I hope e they can use the extra final months to polish the the visuals. The original Stalker was a beautiful game for the time it was released.
Some of the textures look out of place and dated too

Could be playing on different setting and not to mention the original stalker games are NOT beautiful even for their time. Call of pripyat came out in 2011... same year as dark souls and skyrim and it looks like shit compared to those 2 titles.
What youre thinking about is how good STALKER looks with mods, like in the ANOMALY and GAMMA mods, and those are MODS.
It doesnt matter what state stalker 2 releases in, modders are gonna find ways to make it look prettier, they always do
The original stalker games were not "beautiful" the time for they were release. You clearly haven't played the early stalker games without mods to see that.
You don't even know why you think it looks worse but you insist it's been downgraded. The haterade is strong here. The game looks fine. It looks like they removed the fake wet reflective textures that were on everything in the first trailer and turned on global illumination which people THINK looks worse but actually looks more grounded and realistic. Bricks aren't reflective IRL.

I think so many people are just so desperate for a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience they're willing to ignore the issues that are presenting themselves in this trailer.
The devs can delay the game as long they need, I dont care how long this game takes. I dont want S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 to be released now, I want it to be released in a functional state.
My rule of thumb, graphics downgrade is acceptable, feature and performance downgrade is not. Stalker 2 is the only game I've been actually excited about in a long time. Hope they pull it off.
Partially could be just PostProcessing related. Its easy to fail with PP settings and environment starts to look bad. Things like vegetation textures cant have much contrast before revealing the model/texture limitations. Unless using very high detail assets but those might not be quite game ready even with nanite since shadows are too heavy. I am always playing/fighting with PP in my project.
You are coping. The previous trailers clearly had far more advanced graphics, the question is whether they were running in real time or not
I don't think this is due to just strictly post-processing. Their are major graphical downgrades. There are shadows and a lot of graphical effects that were in earlier trailers that just aren't there. Also a lot of the animations and models look pretty poor. Many of the enemy models look like straight ports from the original games.
@@jonatansexdoer96 The game wasn't downgraded, the trailer was upscaled Lol they just re rendered the footage in 8k and resized it..

Trailers my man, games will ALWAYS look better there mostly cause it's just marketing material, not the real product you"ll get to play.
This kind of shit has been happening for the last 20 years in gaming yet nobody bats an eye to that or complains about it when a Triple A studio does it.
Also, if you're playing Stalker for graphics you're terribly mistaken. Series was never known for that, unless you only played things like Anomaly and gamma. Now i'm not gonna say that we should accept less than 60 fps. But expecting Stalker to be a major graphical powerhouse is just silly, they got better things to focus on than fancy visual effects.
And in the end of the day i'd rather much take a game that runs smoothly over something with fancy graphics that age like milk.

I'm fully expecting a rough launch. Normally I would be angry but, given the circumstances, I can let this one slide. As long as the game supports modding generously, I'm sure it will lead to hundreds of hours of entertainment. Especially if the anomaly team can do something with it.
They aren’t in an “open warzone” they all moved to Prague last year lol. Like 2 or 3 of them stayed behind.
And that's just going to make everything a-okay then isn't it... You know, leaving your country behind to make a game. That DEFINITELY doesn't impact anything. Some of these comments really show the autism of the gaming community.
I agree. I rather have it delayed further, if they can afford that, but get a product that looks and feels like the first trailers.
All I hope for is that they keep the modding comunity in mind. The trilogy only survived this long due to amazing mods made over the years. Misery, Anomaly, Dead Air, Gamma to name a few. If it is reasonable possible to mod the game then most issues will most likely be solved by the community. For example something I saw in the trailer, the inventory looks kinda boring right now. It looks stale. Maybe its still a WIP but if not then I bet people will make those look more like we see in gamma
I don't want to be a debbie downer about this but I'm not sold on the game. I understand the war situation, but didn't they relocate? I feel like that's going to be the entire narrative of if the game is bad it's because of said war. I don't buy it anymore. There is supporting and then blind supporting. They're going to rush this game out for no reason while downgrading the fuck out of it and it runs like shit. I'm just not convinced
This smoking rifle is a huge red flag. Exposed rendered clip they showed at E3 2+ years ago and this 25 fps gameplay shows the game is a terrible state.
Btw at gamescon day 1 , the dev from GSC said they moved the team outside of Ukraine before the war started. This only worsen their reputation. The dont develop it in a warzone. Not to mention, the game suppose to be ready 1,5 years ago.
It's STALKER, graphics and performance was never a strong point unless you only played the mods like Anomaly with ENB and enhancements. I'm so tired of all the people complaining about it when they have only ever dabbled in the mods like Anomaly and GAMMA. While I love said mods and appreciate that the mod community has poured love and life into an old beloved series; the gameplay, immersion/word, AI, etc is what truly matters and makes the zone what it is at it's core. I have an immense respect for GSC for still putting love into this title and a gameplay demo out while having to deal with war and hardships.
I pray to god that they will not add any current events references to the game, that would ruin it.

Visuals downgraded, framerate problems, and delays. they aren't hiding it behind a "Oh we're actually ahead of schedule and everything is fine!" bs that most AAA companies pull. I'd rather get a shitty stalker 2 from a team that didn't lie and did their best. tbf, even if they're based in Prauge now. their home country is still at WAR. who knows if they'e lost friends, or god forbid family.
I still feel like the devs do wanna make a good game, and don't wanna lie to their fans. it's clear they're trying to do good. the deck is just stacked against them...
They aren't playing it straight though...the most important feature a-life has not been mentioned by 1 reviewer...by 1 one journalist...by anybody at GSC...and those of us who know what a-life is...(true stalker fans) are wondering the same thing. So all this trailer did was raise suspicions about what might be lacking...and show how absolutely ugly the game is in its current state graphically. Not showing or saying anything about that isn't exactly being *honest*
@@williamrice6790exactly.
they aren't though. playing it straight would have been the previous trailers looking like this one.
It will bomb. *DO NOT PRE - PURCHASE*
BTW, GSC Game World is now based in Prague, Czech Republic. When Sergiy and his staff are saying “We are making this game in the middle of a warzone”, they are *LYING*
Honestly, the worst it *can* get is probably it being similar to Clear Sky, which was the worst of the trilogy, but still a pretty decent game.
Up to 6 months between now and “Q1 2024”, how much can really change in that span of time?
If they got it looking the way they did in the earlier trailers again..
Sometimes i feel like we are having a conversation in real time. You just say exactly what im thinking as i think it during the video
Great coverage as always. I hope that the game is smooth at launch, i dont really mind delays
this is the 1 game that i'll never regret preordering. even if its unplayable at release, i gotta support the dev's for doing what they do. i've been a long time fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. the amount of tragedy that went into the development of this game... no regrets.
The fact that they've had to downgrade the visuals to keep a solid framrate with today's tech just shows that they have a subpar game engine.
I think entitled consumers need to get of their backs & wait to see what they release.
Some people are never happy.
Stalker is one of my favourite IPs and I'm just grateful to get a new game especially give they are developing it during a war. Some of their team have died on the frontlines.
Yeah. Super never happy when a game that’s been on pre order for 2 years downgrades their visuals and looks like performance as well.

@@BigfryTVI ran the original Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl on medium settings when I first played it and was fully engrossed in it. Even with all the bugs. It sounds like you are very much bothered by the visuals of this game and the fact that it won't be a well polished Metro game. It's 2023 and most people are not gaming with the latest and greatest equipment anymore. When Crysis came out we all had to dial settings back to be playable. Still a great game. You can have your opinion but it isn't shared by me or likely most of the target audience.
"I played Stalker, I tried Anomaly".
This is sad.
why?
I hope they don’t rush this out. They can delay it for another year or 2.
Developing a game in an active warzone... thats a distraction on another level..
stalker devs are shooting themself in the leg.
The put so much hate on rus fans, while rus fans are 80% of the total fanbase.
I dont think the game got downgraded.Maybe I think the scene is in different place and the monsters we saw in the first trailer was something else.Maybe this monster is different varient. But I will say still they can improve the texture and model of those models a bit more.
@@1LotusNoir Nah check the first trailer it isnt much different.Only monster got changed.
The reason why it's been delayed even more is (in my most likely theory) because they are reanimating lipsync that was animated first for the russian dub, and then the russian dub has been removed from the game completely. Also I don't get why people be crying about the graphics, not them be playing 2007 stalker with flat textures and still enjoying it. Or they were waiting for graphics shown in the trailer? Most people dont have that RTX 4090, and why make the game THAT heavy? Obviously the trailer was rendered, just like most game companies do.
I can play the original Half-Life and still enjoy it. It doesn't mean that I'd be happy if Valve released HL3 with little to no innovation visually.
@@madawcofarreat2348 stalker2 have never been about graphics
Why are people always so focused on graphics on trailers? It was the same for Elden Ring. I'd rather have the devs being honest about graphics than having pre rendered trailers that look nothing like ingame. And like, just like ER this doesn't look BAD bad. It's enough for me and I think most people and it can be modded relatively easy. As long as the game comes out playable and all the game mechanics are there I'm happy.
They are not “developing this in a middle of a warzone“. By GSC’s own admissions most of their developers were relocated to Prague about a year before the war even started. Simply because their HQ is there. The rest were relocated in the first few months of the conflict. So, for the last year and a half they weren’t any closer to the battlefield than you and I.
The truth is - GSC are peddling “cattle poop”. They always were. If you had ever paid any attention to the original STALKER development you would have known this. The sheer amount of broken promises there overshadows Fallout 76 and NMS combined.
Back then the excuse was “we are creating a dream game and its hard”. Now it’s the “warzone”.
The fact that you're saying that it's worse than NMS and Fallout 76 on launch makes me think you have a personal grudge against them. Either that or you have the memory of a goldfish.
The lead developer died in bakhmut, a lot of the developers got called back for millitary service
I'm actually surprised people are talking shit / concerned about the trailer. I thought it looked great and pretty much like what was advertised. Of course it's actual gameplay and not a trailer rendered in 16k resolution with all settings maxed most likely, but who knows... and to be honest, people can be way too critical before game launches just because they want it to be PERFECT and what they imagine in their minds. I think it looked good and what I expected to see from the game. I don't think anything was downgraded at all.
People will still be critical at release and trash this game because they all have unreal expectations, I'm seeing this with a lot of recent games and its really upsetting.
Milf pack when, daddy Blindside?
You are delusional if you think game wasn’t downgraded. I expected more from them considering time and money they had.
Dawg it just needs the feel of the originals i dont care what it looks like, i dont care if i can go flying into space by hiting a log, its stalker thats what makes it injoyable
The biggest turnoff for me is the English dialogue in all of the trailers. Yes I know you can change it once the game comes out but if they had all the trailers in Ukrainian with subtitles like the old games, it would really go far to further immerse you in the zone.
That's true. I'm not impressed with this gameplay like I was with the first one.
5:48 save your time, he said he only tried anomaly, which is a standalone mod not the vanilla games, i can confirm he is not a reliable source of info, real OGs expect something more than just photorealistic graphics
Yeah as long as the survival, gunplay, atmosphere, and AI are on point this will be what we wanted. There's a long, long list of things I theoretically would wish for in Stalker 2 but after this long I'm just hoping for a solid entry of any kind. I love anomaly as much as most, but too many people seem to forget it's literally a modpack of a modpack of a mod. Little to no story, dynamic half scripted events, glacial pacing, the core gameplay is there but none of the other stuff. People can't base expectations for Stalker 2 off of anomaly, it just doesn't make sense.
:38 he says quite clearly he doesn't care about the visuals, and he wants it to be stable.
Also, remember that stalker was an absolute powerhouse when it released, especially with lighting. It was held up as a standard for graphical fidelity. If you played the originals, especially when they came out, you would know that.
@Chopstorm. It was held up as a stranded for graphics sure, but that doesn't mean that has to be a defining feature of the new stalker. As someone who played and greatly prefers the actual games to all these big modpacks, graphics are the least of my concerns.
@@deaj8450 And nobody is saying it has to be the defining feature. The video quite clearly states that stability takes a higher priority, which is a stance I agree with. Even in their original unmodded forms, the Stalker series was not known for their stability.
@@Chopstorm. I understand that. The reason we are talking about graphics is because he said something along the lines of being disappointed that recent gameplay didn't look quite as good as it did at first. I don't see what is weird, wrong, or noteworthy about us commenting on that. It looks a little worse than the first "gameplay trailers." Oh well is our point. Who cares as long as the game itself is good, because that graphical fidelity was not the priority to us. It barely looks worse anyway, I wouldn't have noticed if he didn't bring it up.
They killed my beloved MP5 making it left side ejecting, how to you even get that wrong lol.
Never played any of the original games, but that one comment that said that Stalker 2 looks like a modded version of the first game is insane. This game has really good graphics and I can hardly tell there was even a downgrade. People are spoiled in this industry.
If you've never played the original games or the modded versions of the original games than you have literally no idea what you are talking about. It 100% looks like the popular modded versions of the original games.
The original games looks pretty good for their age.
There are also the Escape from Pripryath mod which have added a whole new layer to the games visuals.
In other words, dont underestimate previous stalker games for what they are.
Also important to remember that they are likely still working on the game, which means they will likely work to add the final finish on things.
Atleast they are not hiding it for what it is compare to other game devs out there *cough cough*...
My 2 cents...
Stalker games looked terrible when they came out. Shadow of Chernobyl released the same year as Crysis, which still looks amazing today in 2023.
@@nd15music73 STALKER SoC does not look bad. But comparing it to Crysis is not even fair. You're talking about two totally different games with two totally different engines and focuses. X-ray literally simulates hundreds of AI's at the same time loaded in a map. Cryengine could not do that.
The original games, when modded, had amazing visuals back in the day. An update on the graphics would be awesome when the emissions come rolling in. I just hope that Stalker 2 isn't a crash and bug-filled mess, I really want this to be good...
im surprised no one else saw the first reveal was a animation vs a reveal some parts were actual gameplay it appeared but I think they changed its appearance to reflect past games
So many studios jumping on the massive advances in graphic engines but these features can only support a carefully made trailer and cannot yet support a functioning game.
Finally hope for my potato PC to run it
Ummm... I don't think it can lol. Unreal game, downgraded and 30 FPS trailer? A recipe for optimization disaster.
I hope these guys can make it though, making stuff out in the warzone is rough.
Look up what a buggy mess Cossacks 3 is which is the title they released before thus. You will definitely understand why this is not what they marketed. Because they done it before and didn't even bother to sort out the bugs. And there's a lot of game breaking bugs in it. A lot of them..
id rather honest footage over the staggering amount of lies ubisoft has shown over the years
To be honest if they launch it with a downgraded graphics its fine, as long as the promised story elements and gameplay is good and improved then its fine for me
Just because a game is being developed in Ukraine doesn’t mean it’s bad development is the wars fault. I Hate to break it to you but all of Ukraine isn’t a open war zone lmfao pretty sure there wouldn’t be luxury parties in Kyiv every weekend if it was an open war zone. 99% of the fighting is in the east and the only thing happening in the west are targeted strikes against military targets.
Rule of thumb is trust nothing and wait for release date. Until it's released it's all w.i.p. I'd be happy if it turned out to be a beefed up version of clear sky and will put up with jank if it doesn't break the game. Would love to have more faction campaigns/ game starts.
What also isn't helping is how they released screenshots throughout the years and it doesn't look anything like it now.
They should delay it to 2025 and give us the graphics update we want!
wait so you never played the stalker games and only played Stalker anomaly? My friend anomaly isnt a stalker game its a stalker mod and is a much more different vision of stalker than the actual stalker games.
Yeah that was really weird, anomaly is not the standard for stalker, everything about it is different
Anomaly is just a tacticool mod for people who want to play soldier, nothing more
@@nakaeri1361sadly it has become the standard. It drowns out the og games and other mods.

@@spry4543 but you are gonna love the game even more if you have played the original games
I have a feeling that either 1. Theres gonna be a big day 1 patch or 2 it will get delayed again honestly with all that ukraine is going through i want them to delay it as much as possible
I'm fine with a visual downgrade, as long as they don't pull a "modern gaming" on us.
At what point does a product fall under the umbrella of misselling?
I understand they are developing this in the middle of the war. But if it releases broken/bugs dont expect me to buy it. Not too worried about graphics but performance and working gameplay is key.
Yeah, not a huge fan of the series myself but I want them to succeed and if they'd just added a small logo down to the right in the video on what system it was recorded on that would probably be better. It's not looking terrible tbh.
Man if GSC downgrades the game because they realize that expecting the players to cash out for the newest GPUs at a price they can't justify, only to be forced to run it with fake frames and upscaling because the moronic desire for constant growth for the sake of it has ruined gaming just as well, then they can downgrade it all they want. Gamers have made a huge mistake by voting for the post-RTX era with their wallets, and now it's time to stop being that much okay with having to rely on DLSS/FSR to run the game at 60 FPS because we don't see ray tracing as a gimmick that studios tend to use to completely bypass optimizing their games, fully expecting the players to run their game at a non-native resolution anyway.
I Played it. I really liked it and had fun. You got do anything. I Killed all NPCs and the Developer liket that. The Performances was ok and everything was what i hoped for. My guess it will be pretty good.

that is a trailer that focuses on the demo they had at gamescom, not the best stuff in the game
When will people realise that game developers make scripted trailers with isolated “gameplay” that shows a level graphic fidelity that doesn’t exist it wasn’t downgraded it was never looking that good to begin with although the game will still have great graphics but in the end gameplay is far more important if it plays better than it looks who cares
