I think Kate’s clothes fit her job but would be way too fancy for me. Anna, would love for you to do a video on casual elegance. As many of us work from home I don’t have a need for so many dresses anymore. Thanks
I agree. She has a fairly broad range of colors that work well with her, plus she has the advantage of being relatively tall ( around 5 feet 9) and having a slim build with lovely toned legs to showcase A line dresses. For many women, an A line dress is the best one. While she dresses conservatively, I'm in finance field and I dress similar to may of her clothes.
I thought so, too. Not frumpy, not old-fashioned...although I don't love the built-in belt. I'm sure Anna could ramp up the look with a different belt - or no belt - and other accessories.
@@jaimemorgan5323 I agree with you! And if there’s someone who can make anything look good and elevated is our dear elegant Anna! I’m sure she’s got some belt in her closet that would fit this dress like a glove😍.
I think she makes most of the looks work because she's so darn tall and super thin. Shorter women with different body shapes can quickly look frumpy and thick in them. Otherwise most of her looks are very conservative and like something you wear to church only. However her often monochromatic streamlined looks, often with a soft A-line shape definitely add to her height and it's something one can copy to make oneself taller and look more clean/elegant.
U r so right. Someone much shorter than kate expecting the clothes to fit the same on them isnt really smart or a realistic expectation. Anna for some reason didn't mention the stark difference in bodies.

Yes. To hippy doesn’t suit anna makes her look frumpy in the dress and skirts. When Anna wore shirt & pants she looked perfect. She needs different dress style
Anna, Kate has nearly ‘always’ worn nude shoes with coloured dresses. So much more practical than trying to match a shoe colour with every skirt or dress in her wardrobe. Xxx
Princess Catherine tends to have almost everything she buys off the rack tailored and or altered to fit her perfectly, which is why she always looks so put together. Plus the items she gets made bespoke are made by companies who have her exact measurements on hand and have been working with her office for years. Thank you Anna for making this video ❤

Catherine is the epitome of dressing for her body type, the occasion and her position, especially as that has changed from when she was the Duchess of Cambridge to now the Princess of 🏴.
Kate has the luxury of brands accommodating her requests for changes to their ready-to-wear items. She frequently asks them to make a dress with a longer hemline, insert a waist panel, or yes, make her a self-belt to match a dress. Most of us have to live with items off the rack as they are made. Her clothes, even if high-street, are essentially custom-made to her specifications.
I am tall and thin so I often have to go to a tailor to alter my outfits so they fit better. In order for my outfit to be long enough I often have to go 1 or 2 sizes bigger. Also I like to change buttons or other things. I have a friend who can do that by herself. Also sometimes I like to buy fabrics and go to a tailor so they can make from scratch what I want. I know I am not the only one to do that because they're pretty busy. So you don't need to be a princess to do that.
Even in small towns there's always a tailor or touch'up seamstress or however you call them, able to fixe any clothes. It's not expensive, especially in the countryside, and it makes such a huge, huge difference. Say you bought a blazer for 90 $ and the sleeves are too long, which a big no-no, looking "gorilla"-like. You can have this fixed for less than 15 and then your blazer will look perfect.

Maybe the clothes made for Catherine and her exact body type are why they don't look the same on you. Meghan makes this same mistake all the time when she tries to copy Catherine's elegant style but can't pull it off with her boxy shape and lack of height. Also facial and lip fillers, botox and plastic surgery isn't part of Catherine's regimen either. Being brought up with money like Catherine also means she is used to dressing in the highest quality clothing, some things you just have to grow up with to be able to pull them off, amazing style is one of those things.
I love your style and Catherine's. Not all body types can carry off the dresses Catherine does.she can certainly carry off some looks I can't. God bless you both.
I love the Hobbs Tilda coat. Not sure where you got the £600 price tag but its £299 (often in the sale for £250) and it's also 100% wool! That's why it feels so great!
Oh if only I went anywhere where I could wear lovely clothes. Those days are over unfortunately, life can be like that sometimes. Beautiful togs in Waitrose would be wasted these days, still it is wonderful to have memories and one or two treasures kept…just in case!!!
You hit the phrase exactly - it has to be MODERN elegance. I'm 62 and have this in mind with absolutely everything I purchase. The distinction matters even more as we age.
I love Katherine, but, please let's not be fooled. She's not "just like you and me ", unless you grew up in a million pound home in Berkshire, attending prestigious and extremely expensive schools. She's beautiful and wonderful I'd never hear a bad word said against her, but she's definitely not "just like the girl next door"!! Unless you live next to said mansion in said 'shires! ❤🥰😂🤣😂🤣🤪
Thank you! I've always been a big fan of Katherine but it's not accurate to say that she's just like the general population. Her parents are millionaires who sent her to fancy schools.
I think the dress suits Kate because she has an athletic, slender inverted triangle figure. I think wide-belted dresses and pleats together on women with pure hourglasses tends to look very 1950s. It’s elegant, but it was the desired silhouette 70 years ago. The reason it looks fresh on Kate is that she doesn’t have that idealized 1950s essence.
I agree. It's the body type, also Kate is naturally elegant head to toe, her hairstyles, her make up, and demeanour. So everything blends and her whole image is so natural and elegant.
Search "Kate Middleton Kibbe" . Its a body typing system that goes into more detail which explains why these outfits work for her. I think Ellie Jean made a video on her.
I think part of the reason Kate looks better than most of us in that sort of silhouette, especially a full skirt, is that she is so very tall and thin. Not known for curves. Your shape suits more tailored lines since you don't need to create curves with your clothing. As for the shoes, simple geometry tells you that the tall woman with longer feet will have less steep of a slope than a shorter woman, so it will be easier for her to walk comfortably and gracefully in a higher heel.
Tall, thin torso, no curves, big shoulders, long arms, large hands and feet, masculine leg shape, long ring finger, sloping back forehead all points to one thing. MTF ... born male but had facial feminization surgery.
Catherine Princess of Wales is the epitom of natural class, natural elegance classy and slightly bold. She is wonderful, down to earth and just lovelable
@@farrukhahmad555your kind needs a lesson about how to respect women! Be progressive, we are in the year 2024 and you sound like you're stuck in the middle ages, housed in a cave
I LOVE the way Catherine, The Princess of Wales dresses! I don't have her budget so my wardrobe choices are more inspired by her than copied. I do dress up for church so I don't have difficulty finding a place to wear more formal day wear. She's a lot taller than I am, so I have to consider that as well. She's a wonderful inspiration though!
Kate is 5'9" tall and only 121 lbs. at that height. Conservative clothes don't look stuffy on her, because of her body proportions. Most of us can't pull that off.
Why would you want to have anything to do with the evil world misleaders who disobey God and worship the devil and want you dead and destroy God's creation?
Catherine is so classy and elegant and I love the way she mixes high and low fashion and wears her favourites multiple times. With the problems of textile waste the days of never being seen in a dress more than once are gone. I love her accessories too. Her handbags and jewellery always look stunning whether they are simple every day pieces or formal occasion pieces.
I'm amazed at how affordable some pieces are! I mean she could wear royal jewelry but she's wearing £100 earrings. And that says it all. We don't need to wear everything high-end, its possible to mix and match and still look effortlessly elegant.
I do not. She misses a twist, a personal touch.. Many make her looking older, since her late 20s. Queen Maxima is older and dresses better , Queen Leticia is same age, I think..same job, similar status..yet, they do not look old fashioned
kate unfortunately has a long body not unlike a pole, she is actually very skinny and has no figure, if she put on a bit more weight and lose the rings around her eyes she'd look much better, her clothes are nice but at times they just hang off her
Love love love Catherine and her style! She is gorgeous inside and out and pulls off the old school English rose look. I also love when she's more casual or daring.
There’s something odd about wanting someone’s exact outfit… or trying to “dress like” someone. The older I get, the more I really value individual style.
I don't think theses dresses look necessarily old fashioned. They may just not fit your body type. On Kate Middleton, they look right on point and I think the Karen Millen dress you wore to to British TV show hugs your curves and looks so much better on you than the pleated one.
Someone mentioned casual elegance which I also would love to see more of. Kate's style is stunning and tailored to her role. 99.9% of people are not near this role, though her style is lovely and we can take much from it, recreating it is not realistic for the majority of women. Realistic elegance is what I would like to see more of.
You're great, Anna, but WHY OH WHY???? are you calling her Kate Middleton? She's been the Duchess of Cambridge for almost 12 years, and has been Princess of Wales for several months. 😎
The one thing we must remember: Kate can wear anything. I’ve never seen anyone like her. If you threw a wrinkled bedsheet in her she would make it look elegant. Would that we all were like Kate .
This video was really lovely , I loved all of the outfits . I think hrh Princess of Wales is very thoughtful in how she dresses , she is naturally a shy person , but has a very public role , and she really tries to present herself well in her role . I think Sophie ( Prince Edwards wife ) wears lovely outfits also , Sophie's daughter has worn some lovely clothes too , I remember Sophie's daughter wore a beautiful dress by Ghost , not so long ago , maybe it was a dress belonged to her mother (Sophie) , it was a really pretty dress . I hope you make more videos like this . ❤️
I love her style, I went as far as getting 3 similar military coats she wears and they look fantastic, probably not as expensive but still a few hundred each but definitely worth every penny
I think it's a good thing to dress up and feel confident. I think it's a tragedy if one feels the need to take on someone else's personal style. Being authentic is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Kate is stunning but I don't want to mimic her.
Would love Swedish Princess Victoria's style review. She has a complete different body than Kate, but I love her style. Also Maxima, or Letizia review would be interesting, all of them are fashion role models for me.
Kate Middleton is no where as wealthy as the Royal Family. But saying she is just like us is not true. How many goes to Malborough College and live in Manor in Berkshire is considered just normal by global standard?
This video feels like a mess honestly Anna. You’ve got tags poking out, your price points are all over the place. I don’t understand the aim of the video, are you trying to recommend clothes to us or discuss how they look like on you or critique Kate’s looks in the context of her position? Or is this your way of supporting the Cambridges in the face of Spare? Very confusing.
Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark, also has wonderful style to imitate, as does Queen Letizia of Spain. (I'm personally not interested in Megan's style and much prefer Kate.) 😊
I mentioned Queen Letizia in the chat and Queen Rania of Jordan. Absolutely love their style. I like Megan style though along with Kates. I hope Anna turns this into a series.
Princess Catherine is taller than you are and has smaller bone structure, so her clothes don't always suit you or anyone else. Also, she adds natural elegance to even the most casual clothes such as jeans, Barbour jacket, and sneakers. There's just no comparison.
But Anna, she's Catherine, she never goes by Kate. And she's not middleton anymore. Catherine, Princess of Wales or simply Catherine is the best way to address her 😊
Dear Anna, I think that everything that Kate wears looks amazing on her. It is certainly not in the clothes, but in the charm of the personality that naturally radiates from her.
Hobbs is a wonderful brand. I've got a perfect "Hobbs Red" long tailored coat and woollen dress which are both still going strong for 12 years!!! Hobbs coats for £300ish are best found in the sale and they are exceptional quality.
You mentioned Catherine has had the same pair of boots for more than a decade. The thing about a well made pair of boots is that if you take care of them they will last forever ! I have a pair of leather riding boots for 8 years & have walked I don't know many miles in them . I've only have had to have the heel block rubber replaced so it makes perfect since Catherine would have had her boots for a long time if shes taken care of them properly and had them re-cobbled . Quality lasts . Also as a side note Catherine's family is self made - that said when you make a certain amount of wealth it just goes to show it can afford you a lifestyle that can put you in the paths to become friends with other people of status ( ehem Prince William) and that is something not many of us can achieve but maybe our descendants can if we position ourselves right . The Middletons may not have not been landed gentry but did well for themselves. Let's not forget they had privilege not all of us have.
Anna, I have to disagree with you. I think she has a fresh but classic and elegant style… I don’t think there’s any reason to criticize her style at all! She has the best style of any woman I know who is living right now!
So surprised that the pleated dress does look a bit frumpy on you while not on her! The colour you chose is fabulous for you though; that slightly lavender pale blue looks great. Also, the ruby earrings suit you so well, perfect with your skin tone
Love this thbaks. I definitely agree that double breast on an hour glass is not good for me especially since I'm short waisted. Could you give more tips for short waisted fashion?
The Princess of Wales always looks fantastic, whether she is at a royal engagement or dressed causally with her children. I just love her sense of style.
Why on earth would I dress like Kate or anyone else for that matter. I’m unique, my culture and personality are totally different. I dress to suit myself, not to mimic others.
I absolutely love these brands mentioned. I’m addicted to L.K. Bennett heels, they really are the most comfortable and for the price it’s perfect for everyday wear. Highly recommend!
@@houseofschenck6230 all my LK Bennett heels have cost me less than £100. Sales, outlets and sometimes eBay sellers have brand new pairs that go on auctions!
@@MP-hu7ld I had to travel 4 hours to my university..taxis, public transports and a lot of hill walking and I did that in my LK Bennett heels. I find the 4-8 cm heel range most comfortable
I think you're right with what you are saying..HOWEVER, I think Catherine pulls off the styles and colours she wears....I don't think you can accurately compare YOURSELF in her style,, as you're fair and she is brunette..also long frilly sleeves and not buttons is literally a different dress
Hii Anna, thank you so much for this video. You inspire me to become a better version of myself. In the future, I also would like to teach people how to level up thanks to you. You always look so elegant, classy, and stylish. I am looking forward to seeing other videos from you. All the best from Poland!
The boots are traditional Spanish (meaning Spain) country boots, made most likely in Valverde del Camino. You can purchase them in Spain for a 1/3 of the price 150-300 Euro and probably higher quality . Extremely durable (I own several pairs) one tip is to grease them every year. I get complements every time I wear them in the USA
Sorry, I had to stop after the second dress. The sleeve design of the second one aside, the problem you had was simply that neither of these were suitable for your body type, or rather, not in the proportion or detailing they came in. And that neither colour was right. For example, the first dress is meant for women with an ultra feminine but young upper body (narrow shoulders, defined but not excessive breasts , more in a pointed but small than in a large but short type of breasts, the virgin teen type of breasts but feminized, and a tiny waist) combined with almost no hips. It's also best with a very thin and long neck. And then, of course, no curling of the hair hanging loose is recommended with such a neckline. The colour is also all wrong. Even if on that I am willing to accept that this effect may be mostly due to lighting and filming, it remains that with such an elaborate neckline, you need a strong or a dark colour of fabric to take advantage of it, otherwise it simply looks like an over the top design. So, how could this style have looked great on you nonetheless ? First of all with a slightly longer skirt (fuller at the hem) to balance out the design when adapted to your body type, along with sewing in the upper part of the pleats to slim the top of the skirt and thus creates the overall shape it is designed for between upper body and lower body. It would also have allowed you to tighten the belt a bit better, for neatness and purpose, without making the skirt make you fat at the hips, which always happen but for two body types, regardless of whether one is slim or not. Also, whether it is acurate or not, I'm not certain, but it seems like the belt isn't located right on your waistline, which is a problem with that kind of style, as it then make you upper body look shorter and thus more compact. Which is one of the three main reasons why you feel stuffy and not elegant in this otherwise elegant and not so formal as you think dress. The length of the sleeves is all wrong. In fact, it would be even for the right body type for that dress as is. They seem to be reaching the same height as your belt. This always makes one look squarer and shorter. Either much longer, as in 3/4 for example or much shorter to no sleeve at all. With the right length, these sleeves would emphasize the delicacy of the femininity of the body type it is best aimed at, but even then, by making the upper body more present, on a squarer build at waist line, it wouldn't take away the bulkiness of the design at hip level anymore but make one look overly square and rigid instead. Some would have to go for a raglan type of head for the sleeves, some would rather need the usual, others would need the puff out head type. A seamstress could therefore improve on the current dress already by using the sleeves to lengthen the waistline above and below your waistline, with opposing pointing triangular shapes so as to five some drape to both upper body and skirt, thus diminishing the bulkiness, the stuffiness of that pattern on your body type. With the pleated skirt now starting lower from your waist, it would look slimmer on the hips and with th added give the triangle shape would bring to the skirt, it would also make it lighter, more feminine and more elegant. In the case of a a squarish and too short skirt, wearing shoes in a matching colour would also counterbalance that effect, if they have a high but thin heel and are in a plain but slim design.
To look classy and be classy the first thing you need to do is get rid of Botox and duck lips and stop chasing sugar daddies , get an education , work hard work smart , be independent…now that’s classy !!!
Princess Kate always manages to look polished whether its for formal royal engagements, or sporting events, or family outings. Her sense of style is truly impecable.
Anna, you're finally back, you were wonderful as always, I'm already waiting for your next video. You are unique and incomparable, and even if they imitate you, your content and tastes are inimitable. Kate is also an inspiration to me. Her casual outfits are wonderful. Greetings from Chile.
The trick to wearing stylish clothes and looking good in them is never to think about what you are wearing. Choose your clothes well, put them on and NEVER fiddle with them. You must wear the clothes and never let the clothes wear you.
Have you heard of Fairfax and Favour, a British brand? Those Penelope boots look so similar (tassels and a scallop trim)! They offer a range of calf sizes from narrow to sporting fit. I bought a couple of pairs recently and they look quite smart, but I'm quite new to the brand so time will tell how well they wear. 😊
I love the ruby and green earrings, they look good on you and would look great on every body. I love how she doesn’t wear super expensive clothes and repeats them few times . I love Kate Kate ‘s beige outfit, skirt is different shape , more mermaid (she gets it tailored version ofcourse)
Kate Middleton has a tall and lean body, obviously on different type of body type all of those things won't look the same as on her. Body type is important when it comes to dressing for sure, besides colour palette. Kate is authentic when it comes to dressing, stylling, combining clothes, which is important part of being unique, or an icon.
I agree with what you said about modern elegance. Someone whose style I like to emulate is Swedish Princess Madeline - just love how she looks so relaxed and put together at the same time :) Would you consider doing a video with her top looks? Thank you :)

I didn't know she grew up in Berkshire! That's where I'm currently living. :)
Exactly!!

@@farrukhahmad555 No. But then again, I am not the future Queen of a G7 country.

Those green earrings absolutely fit you! Bottle green looks amazing on blondes
I thought the same thing!! Looks great on her!
Agreed!
Yes, blondes don't have to have everything light colored :)
They looked nice
I also loved those earrings on Anna
I agree! I was surprised when Anna said they weren't a match for her, I thought they looked amazing with her blonde.
Kate is so elegant and I love her ladylike style. I personally like that she wears and supports British brands.

Kate middle is very very slim and appears long. This body type can wear styles that may overwhelm rounder shortened features.
. I’m sure most of her clothes are tailored by the best.
kate unfortunately has a long body not unlike a pole, she is actually very skinny and has no figure, if she put on a bit more weight and lose the rings around her eyes she'd look much better, her clothes are nice but at times they just hang off her
Love love love Catherine and her style! She is gorgeous inside and out and pulls off the old school English rose look. I also love when she's more casual or daring.
💯! She is such an icon in every way. Absolutely love her too ❤
You cant know is she beautiful inside, becouse you dont know her. Out she is far from beautiful.

There’s something odd about wanting someone’s exact outfit… or trying to “dress like” someone. The older I get, the more I really value individual style.
True that!! 👍
There is a fine line between getting inspired by someone and imitating someone's lifestyle.
Totally agree ❤
FYI. She isn’t Kate Middleton anymore.
We take such inspiration from Princess Catherine. Good pieces stand the test of time.
I especially love when Kate wears her country walking clothes 😊💕 Thanks for covering all this, Anna! 💜
I love seeing her in those clothes too. I myself want the Penelope Chilvers boots, they are so iconic.
Anna please make 🙏🙏🙏next video on QUEEN LETIZIA of Spain 🇪🇸 her fashion and styling is elegant and versatile 🤩
I don't think theses dresses look necessarily old fashioned. They may just not fit your body type. On Kate Middleton, they look right on point and I think the Karen Millen dress you wore to to British TV show hugs your curves and looks so much better on you than the pleated one.
Kate rocks, like you Anna! You are my icon and example! ❤
I agree with you 110%

You're great, Anna, but WHY OH WHY???? are you calling her Kate Middleton? She's been the Duchess of Cambridge for almost 12 years, and has been Princess of Wales for several months. 😎
It's so cute you came with your pet this time 🥰 love your personality
Anna, I thank you for introducing me to the concept of color palette. Everything in my closet is very elegant now and people keep telling me so.
Thank you for this video!! I have always loved Kate’s style!! She’s so classy, elegant and timeless!!! I look up to her!
You are so welcome!
Her name is Catherine Princess of Wales, not Kate Middleton. Catherine is a beautiful, elegant lady, and has the figure for anything 😍
I think outfits do not look old-fashioned on her bc she's too skinny so she gives that girlish vibe
I so agree! I’m tired of so many focused on this person.

Would love Swedish Princess Victoria's style review. She has a complete different body than Kate, but I love her style. Also Maxima, or Letizia review would be interesting, all of them are fashion role models for me.
I love Kate Middleton too! Her style is modest, stylish, sometimes playful, and always elegant.
Kate Middleton is no where as wealthy as the Royal Family. But saying she is just like us is not true. How many goes to Malborough College and live in Manor in Berkshire is considered just normal by global standard?
😂😂😂 Kate Middleton wasn't wealthy?????????????? 😂😂😂😂
She is so classy!
@@Shelly____ Yes to Queen Rania style and a series!
Catherine, Princess of Wales or simply Catherine is the best way to address her 😊
This Child who looks old commentary is being sarcastic and jealous she must be a friend of the killer Mafia woman and sister and children.
Kate is very tall and very slim so she can literally wear a potato bag and still look elegant, not old fashioned 😅
Love HRH Catherine Princess of Wales ❤❤❤
Agree 🙌

So surprised that the pleated dress does look a bit frumpy on you while not on her! The colour you chose is fabulous for you though; that slightly lavender pale blue looks great. Also, the ruby earrings suit you so well, perfect with your skin tone
Love this thbaks. I definitely agree that double breast on an hour glass is not good for me especially since I'm short waisted. Could you give more tips for short waisted fashion?
Why would you buy the pieces you didn't like in the first place !
Kate's personality and originality makes everything look good on her , it is kate that makes everything elegant and amazing , ....

You can do it!
I have the same! They are beautiful and I always get compliments. Love Valverde del Camino❤
I think you look good in the Karen Millen dress.
Minute 3; I think the blue dress looks lovely on You , Anna, actually better than the yellow variant on Princess Catherine
Loved to see Anna in the camelbrown coat from Hobbs. I would actually love to see her in another color of the same coat 😍
Yes!! That was pure perfection
So happy to see you coming back, Anna.
