Hi beautiful Adii Mimi, I hope you won’t mind my comment but I wanted to do some correction regarding this video and few of its content. The first thing is about " balut” well I just wanted to clarify that balut can never be cooked with blood and it sounds impossible to be cooked with blood. I think your mistaken about that or perhaps the knowledge being impart to you is totally wrong. You can research about it. That blood dish you have mentioned in the video is a different kind of dish, sure it was cooked with pork’s blood but it’s usually cooked with pork meat and not balut. That certain dish is called Dinuguan. The another thing is about dialects and languages being spoken in the country. As far as I know there is about 170+ dialects being spoken in different parts of Philippines and there are 8 major dialects are widely spoken in most part of the country. Despite all those dialects, we have a national language called “ tagalog” that can help Filipinos understand each other if they don’t speak the same dialect. English and tagalog are the main language being taught in school so everyone can speak or understand tagalog. Mostly the only people who speak tagalog are the people who live in Luzon and Manila is part of Luzon. I hope you won’t mind my comment about this video. @@reignheart2669 You are giving misinformation, do your research and educate yourself on languages and dialects. Cebuano, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Ilonggo, etc. are as much a language as tagalog. Here is a clue, if you don't understand what the other guy is saying to you, he is talking a different language. Most filipino teachers to this day are really doing a disservice to students teaching them that there is only one language (Filipino) and all the others are dialects. Dialects are are the same language that is peculiar to a specific region thus they probably have some word differences, accent, etc. BUT they still are very much intelligible to each other. For example, the tagalog in batangas and bulacan have differences in words, accent, etc..

I found Nigerians men than any other African nationalities making their way to our local news in national TV of being either caught for deportation for being scammers or of involment in illegal activities, have u not noticed that? I know there are many good Nigerians, but if some can do that boldly inside the country pretending to be students or missionaries, isn't it scary to welcome all of them?
Why all people are obsessed to go to America and be proud to become a second class American citizen... A country peppered with a majority of whites with their white supremacy attitude.. First advantage studying in the Philippines its accredited here in USA , Canada and UK. When I was a medical student in the Philippines , I have lots of classmates from USA,Canada, UK few from Africa and Thailand .
Philipiines is abundant of rice, is there a problem eating rice everyday,there is no problem for the filipino people eating rice day to day, unlike other country specially some part of africa lot of poverty lack of food, so philippines are blessed that's why lot of foreigner visít and stay in the philippines

@@adiimimi I think what he/she meant was that there will always be a language barrier when we live in a different country where english is not the 1st language since people will always prefer a language they are most comfortable with. In the PH there is less language barrier (compared to other southeast or east asian countries) because most of us speak or understand english here (to some extent). If there are people not comfortable speaking with you, maybe they are not very comfortable with their english proficiency that's why they can feel intimidated interacting with foreigners -- and I think that is just really unavoidable which ever non-english speaking country we go. Liked your interview though! it was realistic and eye opening because we don't usually see the perspective of similarly developing countries about our system, how much we have in common and our differences as well. PH is far from the best country really, it can be sh*tty living here as a filipino sometimes but we have our good sides as well.

Im happy being a Filipino. At least we are 100 years ahead than Nigeria in all fronts of social services and infrastructure development. The way their cities look like I can say that they are just in the early 19th century and thats a fact.
balut ,you just eat the egg yolk and discard the chick. It's more flavorful than regular egg yolk from a chicken. It's really not disgusting ,it's just like a chicken.

But look no further from African continent because a few African tribes in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Namibia and Botswana actually consume fresh blood from cows or cattle. In Asia, Europe and the Americas, animal blood is either cured or processed or cooked fresh alone or in combination with other meat.

I don't think language barrier is an issue in Philippines coz everybody can speak and understand English especially the Upper and Middle-Class. It's a mere misconception coz maybe she's only been talking with a handful of local people unlike Dorcas - a Nigerian UA-camr in Cebu.

@@ez_gamelife9465 Rich country in natural resources but poor in economy in education system, health care system in economic status etc its has 400b economy for its 200 million people, Philippines has doubled almost 400b economy for its 110 million population, its GDP per capita, HDI,PPP, GNI is far more better than Nigeria, so technicaly PH is richer than Nigeria, its just that Nigeria is so corrupt, that they cant benefit from their own natural wealth. PH is also a corrupt country even prone to natural calamities, but PH still far ahead.

What you see in the Philippines if you are there as student or whatever.. just try to learn our culture etc. if you do not like something there in Philippines like ex: food etc. then don’t eat and not criticise what shock’s you. Im happy being a Filipino. At least we are 100 years ahead than Nigeria in all fronts of social services and infrastructure development. The way their cities look like I can say that they are just in the early 19th century and thats a fact.

Aside from Asia, animal blood is also widely consumed in many European, North American and Latin countries. But look no further from African continent because a few African tribes in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Namibia and Botswana actually consume fresh blood from cows or cattle. In Asia, Europe and the Americas, animal blood is either cured or processed or cooked fresh alone or in combination with other meat.

I don't think language barrier is an issue in Philippines coz everybody can speak and understand English especially the Upper and Middle-Class. It's a mere misconception coz maybe she's only been talking with a handful of local people unlike Dorcas - a Nigerian UA-camr in Cebu.

As a Medical student who lived In Philippines for 4 years, you think my interaction are with only locals? That’s what your smart mind told you? I said what I said unapologetically and I’d repeat it again. THERE’S A HUGE LANGUAGE BARRIER. You can’t tell a foreigner how to feel about their experiences. I don’t know how hard that is for “some” of you to understand. 🤢🫠

Accept the fact that once you foreigners especially those part from african country once they landed to my country they relocate themselves here... nigeria is very far ahead when you compare to the philippines not only for educational system but also as whole you cannot deny it...

Girl again don't just say Philippines is developing country that because you stayed in province but then even province still have necessities since years years which your country doesn't have. Go to Luzon part and you will see like you're in New York.

Sorry to hear the truth, I Have been there only rich people access basic necessities the poor at the poorest pity to know that. At least in my country rich or poor we shared the same access to the same necessities.

Philippines is not that fine a country jor. She nailed it; it is not a country for those looking to settle in. There's not much difference between the Philippines and Lagos. There is a lovely country side though.

@@ez_gamelife9465 Rich country in natural resources but poor in economy in education system, health care system in economic status etc its has 400b economy for its 200 million people, Philippines has doubled almost 400b economy for its 110 million population, its GDP per capita, HDI,PPP, GNI is far more better than Nigeria, so technicaly PH is richer than Nigeria, its just that Nigeria is so corrupt, that they cant benefit from their own natural wealth. PH is also a corrupt country even prone to natural calamities, but PH still far ahead.

Watching your video and all I can say is nigeria and Philippines 🇵🇭 are totally have their own culture and traditions differences right? What you see in the Philippines if you are there as student or whatever.. just try to learn our culture etc. if you do not like something there in Philippines like ex: food etc. then don’t eat and not criticise what shock’s you. You can buy your needs and cook your own Nigerian food why not? If you don’t like something ..? nobody is forcing you anyway. Just get on with.. think Philippines 🇵🇭 is not the same in Nigeria 🇳🇬 If you’re not happy? Why you’re there in Philippines 🇵🇭?

If you come to Nigeria as a foreigner, there are things or cultural differences that will shock you also. Talking about them does not mean disrespect. Sharing my views regarding my experiences (the good, the bad, the ugly) does not mean disrespect. This is my honest experience as a foreigner. Not a lot of people will have the confidence to share their real experiences because they don’t want to be talked to in such manner you just did.
