yo just came in clutch im working on a bmw m3 almost finished but there is those small bumps where the vertices arent following a linear line .thank you~
very good video and training! thahk you; but if I have a car composed by many meshes (panels and more...) and they have a space between them how can I merge all together? for instance, front hood and lateral fenders: they have a space/clearenca between them --> if I want to close it but keep the separation line (because I want to 3D print) how can I do it? thank you!!! 🙏
@@walejaw3d ok but I need to close it with blender. is it possible? maybe I could create a big cube and cover the 3d model; after it I could repair the 3d model and cancel the big cube; what do you think?
@protomanialab there are many options. Booleen, joining meshs, remeshing, bridging edge loops etc. all depends on what your what your end goal is etc. ive tried everything and in the end, if you just make sure thing overlap each other they will print ok
Ahhh, taken me a while to understand what you mean lol. The seat in rally cars gets pushed way back for weight distribution, there for the mirror has to be moved back.
Try modelling a car. These are all the tools you need. Saves me being boring and making a week long episode. Most people are smart and need a quick breakdown rather than having someone hold there hand the hole time etc.
@@walejaw3d True true mate and totally get you! All the tools and tricks are important and prob help modeling a car, but Id still consider it as a general "advanced" blender video, instead of specified for cars. But still liked it =)) - The last tipp i keep forgettin, so good i keep hearing it hehe
what a funny tutorial for blender. the car look really awesome!
Just found your channel today, very useful ! Thank you very much for the advices !

3d print apps will fill those gaps dont worry. As long as its not a window size hole the app will create a volume of the collective etc.
