    Nice video! Modeling the car can be time-consuming, depending on how long it takes. I made my own low-poly Satsuma car model in Blender, and it took about 2 hours for me.

      Yh , car more is time consuming, but 2hrs is not bad

    you could make only half of the model and mirror it, saving time and improving the quality of the model

    Awesome work!
    One suggestion for your playlist(s). I'd re-order or re-sequence your videos. For example, from our view it shows your latest video FIRST at the TOP, which makes it confusing if your viewer is just starting out. Start it out with PART 1, PART 2, etc. Just something to help. Keep up the great work.

    The biggest part I struggle with is modeling what you can’t see in the blue prints. Usually most of the references I can find are of the front of the car / hood which are usually clear in the blueprint and predictably contoured

    • @praize3d
      @praize3d  Місяць тому +1

      I understand but what you need to focus on mainly is your pictures, gather as much pictures of the car as possible . By using pictures and not depending on just the blueprint you’ll e able to model a car without blueprints

  • @Polyworks3D
    @Polyworks3D 29 днів тому +1

    Usually, if I go this high poly from the beginning I get lumpy mesh. Good job.

    • @praize3d
      @praize3d  28 днів тому +2

      Thanks. This is not really that high poly but modeling it this way would help you get good shading

  • @senormarti
    @senormarti 8 днів тому +1

    Question?
    Did you get lucky that the scale of different sides of the blueprint match? Or is that a "paid feature" for those blueprints?
    Because I got mine from the same site as you(just the low res "free" preview though) and the scale between the side top and rear and front views are all over the place, tried my best to scale them perfectly but ended up with not quite perfect. I guess I just have to work with what I have and hope for the best

    • @praize3d
      @praize3d  8 днів тому

      Yes, some blueprints are like that. You just need to keep digging on google and you’ll find a good blueprint . Also know how to set the blueprint right by using a cube at first to align each views

    Hi friend, could you please create a content dedicated to the creation of a body car complete starting from a downloaded 3D STL model from 3D car web site (seller)? The target could be separete the parts (for ex. glasses, spoiler, flags...), transform them from surface model to body model and print them using a 3D printer. It shuold be very useful! This could be a new content: if you check on youtube platform, doesn't exist a complete tutorial. Thank you!

    Jumping to deep end with this to model my car, a skoda octavia vrs.. I would be so happy if I succeeded :D At least I don't have to worry about reference images when the thing is sitting right there and I can just go out and get all the photos I want

      You can usually just use the , and . Keys (i think those are the 2 keys) to advance the video a frame at a time. That and the key visuals overlay on the lower left of the screen should help you figure out what he is doing … Straight modeling like this usually doesn’t involve that many different functions.
      Also just be willing to progress slowly.
