    Matt, I'm from NJ and yesterday I went to a Harley dealer in NY looking for gear. As I'm walking around I noticed on the floor of their dealership one of your test ride and review videos was playing. An employee and I both agreed your videos are awesome, very informative, and high quality. It's pretty cool that other dealers around the country trust your knowledge and expertise. Keep up the good work, the east coast is watching!

      @@chaltaloma Hey ! So I hope your ready because its a novel lol I can only tell you what worked out for me ,You will hear a lot of advice and opinion like dont buy a new bike for your 1st one or start off with a sportster or smaller bike which is true and I can see why people say that but in my case it was a little different. I did the Harley course and within that month bought my bike. The week of buying it before bringing it home I intentionally did take a MSF course .It was a slow rider course (I think that's the name) .I wanted to get use to being on my bike and feel comfortable before getting on the street because I was a new rider. It worked out because practicing that day for a few hours I wasnt a pro but comfortable enough to ride on the street after. Now it's a different story I ride all the time. I can honestly say with more pratice comes the full comfortability and fun. Everyone does things differently. I did what I knew was best for me and what I was ok with. Different people have different opinions like they didnt recommend me to get a softail as a 1st bike but I heard people outgrow sportster fast and i didnt want to get myself in a financial commitment for a couple years on a bike that I would outgrow in few months so that's why I did that. Ideally you might want to buy a used one off someone but I didnt have money saved like that and I was really eager to learn fast and didnt want to wait and save so I bought the street Bob 2020 and just do payments on it.I dont regret It just pushed myself to pratice a lot and had to understand because I'm a newer rider I might bang up my bike and I had to be ok with it 😂.It's doing great only dropped it once and it was in that class and nothing crazy happened I put the crash bars on it so helped. I loooove my bike I always tell people it has been one of the best things I've ever bought. I'm 5"3 by the way. Haha
      Hoped it helped.

    My first Street bike was the 2019 Street Bob , I put a stage 1 with the Screaming Eagle heavy breather and Vance & Hines short shots , it was awesome , it really gave me the excitement I was looking for in riding a Harley , the down side of the bike was the wimpish foot brake , the 3.5 gallon tank and the seat which was the worst feeling of all , I've sold it since and went with the FLHT all in 5 months and I can't believe how much I know that it was the best move I could have made , i love my FLHT and I'm not looking back and regretting the change . The street Bob is a great entry riding bike but not something I would recommend as a long time keeper .

    I traded in my triumph t120 for a 2020 FXBB. First off this bike is amazing, I love it. Second I really feel like that being as light as the Street Bob that 107 rips more than people like me expect. I also agree budget for bike this is the bike but it's also just a badass step into the big twin market.

    Hey I just picked up a 2020 street bob here in AZ and reason being is the flagship store wasn't trying to give the satellite store the Softail standard sale. But I lucked out and got the 2020 street bob for the standard price! Oh yeah points for me. as appealing as the low rider s is/was I've never been the gt or lx version of a buyer. My commute car is a base model Honda fit hahaha my primary bike before this purchase is a 03 883r with an s&s 1200 Hooligan kit. I like to build my stuff up because my brain keeps whispering my mantra "stock sucks" and yes adding more money to an already pricey low rider s is not a dream come true, pouring hard earned cash into a bike I can call mine is. Hello team. Your review videos seem to get better and better. Really like this. The way it is filmed, edited. Your owns views of each bike. The location. What I also like is the time you shoot the vidoes most of the time. Just before and during sunset.
    I still rewind to your older videos quite a lot, but the new videos are great. I am looking forward to each new video and review.
    The bike? Nice looking bike. Had a test ride on a 2016 or 17. Could have decided for a 2019 Street Bob if I hadn't ridden the Fat Boy.

    I bought my 2019 Street Bob back in June. I wish I would have waited for the Low Rider S. Having that extra 2 gallons in the gas tank is such a game changer. I put the Stage 2 torque kit on it and I’m just guzzling gas on this thing. Maybe 110 miles per tank lol.

    • @TH3G0ODGUY
      @TH3G0ODGUY 5 років тому

      It's only an extra gallon and a half, but yeah, the extra ~60 miles is a big deal for those who ride a bunch.

    • @Vance59
      @Vance59 5 років тому

      Nick Culver Huge difference man! I could have a full tank and I’ll need to fill up before the V-Rods and Sportys lol.

      I'd neither pick a cruiser or a Supersport bike as first bike. Naked bikes handle best, better n easier than both. Cruisers are heavy. Sucks if you drop it. A naked bike just Work. You can corner fast and see if you like that you can also relax n cruise a little. Aaaaaaand. A Harley is super expensive. If you end up dropping it and not liking cruisers you wasted alot of money. Id get something below 5000 used.

    Nick these new softail handle better then any stock bagger ! Harley has to go to a mono schock bagger frame very soon!

    I have always been a Street Bob fan. The new one rides and handles even better for obvious reasons. The only disappointment is the instrument display and the absence of convenient preload adjuster which is there on all other softails. Being minimalist should not mean you do away with the essentials

    Never liked the twincam engine. I watched it's progress since it started. I worked for a dealership for 18 years and got to see the things it went through. The older Soft tail bikes were an interesting novelty to me, never wanted one. Harley Davidson really got it right with the new soft tail line.
    Love mine.

    Great video! I bought my 2018 red denim Street Bob last year after going back and forth between it and the Low Rider. I liked aspects of each model- but the Steet Bob won out mostly because I didn't want to deal with the chrome. I certainly would have bought a Low Rider S were it available then. I like my Street Bob though and it was the perfect canvas to turn into the bike I wanted for riding here in San Diego.With the 124", an RWD longer rear shock- combind with the fairing and LD San Diego t-bars- it's pretty perfect. The only things I wish i had was the larger tank and mag wheels from the Low Rider S.

    I'm a skinny man with no motorcycle experience, I am looking for something I'll be able to drive out of town ride long country roads. And go around the city but I'm also a college student so of course I'm low on the budget so I want to save money for me to make the ride last. I think this bike is perfect for me because I'm tired of having two cars might as well keep one car for family/friend trips and for important or get ride away for awhile reasons I think the bike would best benefit although I like speed.

    I'd like to see how it does with the Stage IV kit in it. I haven't owned a bike in a while, and I am looking at the Street Bob to get back into it, as it is a good all around bike, and that's what I want. I will also probably turn it into a true bobber. Thanks for the review. This is probably one of the best I've seen as I put in the research to insure this is the bike I want. I also have come to the conclusion I will end collecting bikes.

    I rode a 2018 street bob back to back with a 2017. I'm sorry but the 2018 felt like a Suzuki. handlebars and tank feel low and the back brake didnt seem to do anything. bought the 2017 with 329 miles on the odometer. over 5k miles and dont regret it a bit.
