I got the Street Bob FXBB in 2018 and done 11,000 miles now. I totally love it, can't see me every getting rid of it. I've done a fair amount to it in that time and it just keeps getting better. I got the cheaper black but really impressed with the colour of yours, absolutely beautiful. I wish you well and hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Great video, lovely to hear you enjoying it pal.
I’m a brand new rider. Up until last week Friday I had never been on a bike. Last week Friday my
19 fxbb was delivered. It has less then 200 miles on it and a stage 1 kit. Teaching myself to ride on this thing has been a blast.
I hear the excitement & joy in your voice. It's a wonderful thing getting a new bike, especially one you love. Hopefully I'm back on one soon!
I always wanted a 883 but i fell in love with the 2016 softail slim s with the big 110 v twin added all the willie collection with bassani roadrage pipes all blacked out amazing softails are so well balanced

I had a 2019 883 I bought under the freedom promise program. After a few months I out grew it and bought a 2020 street bob. My riding life has been better ever since. A totally different ride.
That River Rock is a beautiful colour. I went through similar to you eventually trading in my awesome 48 for a Low Rider. So very different but I kinda miss the 48. Enjoy your ride Sir.

Just got myself a Streetbob 114, can’t wait to ride it!! People ask me “so are you selling your Forty-eight now?” I said Hell no!!! Lol I love the sportsters in the city to much to part with it.
I’ve got the same bike ,but black. I love it to! I just wish it had forward controls. Only thing I did was put a 33 inch sissy bar on it, and a krator quarter fairing. I went from a roadking to that. The speed and easy turning is incredible. Enjoy
You don't realize how "meh" the sportster is till you get into a bigger dyna/soft tail/etc with 107/110/114 etc. I got bored with my sportster in just 2 months
I’m probably fatter than you are Miles. However, a seat was the first thing I did. About 1 1/2 hours was my limit on my FXST (pretty much same bike) stock seat. I bought the Saddlemen Solo Renegade. Looks like the stock seat, just a little better. Now it takes about 4 1/2 hours to make me sore. I also recover quicker. Must be the gel.
Love these bikes. Handles great. Stops great. Tons of power. Shifts good. Super smooth engine. Not crazy about the hydraulic clutch for low speed maneuvers.
If I miss anything, it would be the sound and the feel of the old 96” Twin Cam, especially when you start it. It felt like you straddled a big airplane and rumbled and shook to life - the Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes had a lot to do with that.
For my FXST, getting ready to add cruise control. Next is a sissy bar and fender bib so I can carry a bag when needed. Have an aftermarket windshield that looks kind of cool, but I’m not sure about the look of it on this bike.
Bought it 6/25, and I’m dropping it off for the 1,000 mile service today. I will watch to see how this turns out for you.
Thanks for posting this. I have an Iron 883 I've been riding this past year as my first bike but I've been thinking of getting a Street Bob since I've gotten a lot more comfortable and riding under my belt.

I test rode a 2020 with the gauge actually located at the top of the risers. On the actual T-Bars and I loved it. Didn't have to take my eyes off the road.
Love that river rock colour, im trying to decide between a triumph speedmaster or a street bob when I upgrade in a month, I'll subscribe to see how you go with this.
I too went from a 883, but up to a 2016 dyna low rider S 110ci stage 2. Going from the slow 883 to this, my fxdls power wheelies through 1st/2nd/3rd no problem. I don't miss the iron whatsoever
I did the same thing bro had my Nightster I loved it I did so much to it made it my custom but was gonna upgrade suspension big bore kit cams then realized how much it would be and the m8s looked real nice so then got me a low rider stage one thinking about doing se stage 2
Great bike I have a Bob also with a few extras. Look at a set of chiseled apes from the HD Store, dead comfortable 🔥🤘
You will end up doing the same thing that we all did . You will go through and chance out the entire bike. Enjoy the things you mentioned in this video bc with the modification’s all the smooth goes bye bye!! For me it’s impossible to keep a bike stock but it’s the best your bike will ever run. Not the coolest but smoothest time is now!!

That new security system is called "keyless go" and its been there since 2014 (even for sportsters) :)
Bro, I’ll be getting my 2019 FXBB hopefully this week (waiting on license plate from dealership). It’s got 1100 miles on it and broke in and already received the break in maintenance/tune up from HD Hawaii. Shopped around for a while and got the price down to $10,999 out the door! I’m going to start vlogging too and hopefully we can customize our bikes together...already bought the saddleman solo and passenger seat (both brown)...just waiting on the bike now 😅😭😁🤙🏼. ride safe bro and I look forward to more vids ❤️
Jealous of you Americans and your Harley prices... Here in Europe a used Harley Street Bob from 2004 with 30 000 miles can easily go for 12 000 dollars...
My heart also desires a street bob so I got one in 2018. What bars are you considering for it I really don't mind the stock ones but will be going aftermarket just have not decided witch way to go yet. In joy the bike 👍

The so smooth comments have me intrigued. I have a '92 Fatboy that I bought new. Never rode a twin cam or rubber mounted sportster. The '92 Fatboy is geared low so rpm is high 32k at 70mph. Vibration is tiring thirty years later. How does the vibration compare to the Evo and rubber mounted sportster? Love the color on your new Street Bob!
Is the Reserve you speak of the same as "range" of how far you can go before needing to fill up?

I'm gonna be trading up soon. The Sportster Iron 883 was fun, but after test riding the Softails. It's time to upgrade. I was thinking about the FXBB, Low Rider or the Breakout.
Hi @twiste slayer, whats your impression regarding exhaust sound between the iron 883 and the fxbb street bob?
Marko Stevanovic The 883 produces a better exhaust note. The FXBB stock sounds like a sewing machine. But that can be changed with Slip-Ons or a full system.
plan on getting same bike. not sure if i want to pay the pricetag for the 2021s with the 114 or get a used 2018-2019 already modded for 10k less
What gloves are those. They're awesome they look so thin.
Would you recommend this bike for a new rider .I don't feel like buying a 883 dumping 4k in accessories into it .when I can just spend that 4k and get the better bike .
That's crazy to me that you say all that, I rode a 20 street bob yesterday coming from my 883 with saddlemen and forwards, and I took it back in 10 minutes because the seat and miss were so uncomfortable. I'd love to move into one, but without forwards I was wayyyy too cramped at 5'10" and the seat did not have me feeling confident when throttling back.

nice looking bike, but the tank looks to small to me. There is a gap in front and back of the tank. Why not fill that in and provide a larger tank? I'm thinking this tank is used on other bikes they make as well.

I miss my 2017 dyna street bob it was great, sold it a year ago but next year I plan on buying a new bike probably going with a street bob again

My Harleys: Get on and ride @70mph until your almost out of gas. Fill it up and do it again. I do this all day long. It's broke in by dark. Next day : change oil & filter. Check everything out and do it again on the ride. Change oil and all fluids and you're good to go for a life time with proper maint.
Why keep it under 3000rpm for the first 50?
The only thing about the bigger engines is that you don't get as much chance to use the rpm range as by the time you've blipped the throttle, you're already speeding over the limit. Is where Sporties are so much more fun. Plus we buy Harleys for the vibes, rattles and shakes. The 107 is soulless, in that sense.

I have a 2019 street bob. It depends if u like the blacked out look better. If so then it will cost u more than $1000 to black out the standard. Depends what look fits u.
